All the prices listed under Google map are outdated. As of today, the clover link is correct. Alhambra Tax is 10.25%. one menu throughout lunch and dinner. A small parking lot is available in the back. Street parking on Valley Blvd. has restrictions, probably same for the side streets, so pay attention to the signs. Kind of noticeable from Valley, more noticeable if coming from the opposite side. the traffic is usually good in this area... I normally avoid the rush hours tho. Came here for more than a few times in the past couple of months. Overall just a tad salty but works out perfectly fine for summer time. Best to order without any requests ( 什麼少鹽少油小辣的都不用提); just come and see if it fits your taste. My favorite so far is mustard leaf with garlic stir-fry (ordered several times). Very authentic and not exotic. All others need more time to find out. Avoid the 宫保鸡丁 stir-fry chicken at all costs--cant even fried the peanuts right. Good interior design with hip-hop music.will come again.

Went today for the first time in years. Squid dry pot is very flavorful, but beware its the only "🌶 🌶 🌶 " item on the menu, i.e. it's super spicy. Potato seemed a little starchy. Toothpick lamb was very well seasoned, but the meat was fattier than ideal. Grandma's Pickled Cucumber was tasty, had more dry chilis than expected. Overall, good, maybe the dishes picked today were a little too similar with the dry chili focus.

This is a really cute restaurant on Main Street with a small parking garage behind the restaurant. Everything was flavorful and delicious though if I want to be picky, the toothpick lamb were a bit dry and chewy instead of being tender, so that’s the one dish I probably won’t order again. The fish soup and steamed pork bellies are both excellent.

Restaurant is nice and clean with great service. Food is hit and miss. The duck tongue is my favorite dish of the meal. The kidney was not the best in terms of quality and flavor. Noodles and wonton was average. Overall a decent experience. Portion on the small size consider the price is high.

Place is delicious and gorgeous. A great place for a date. The only reason for the 4 vs 5 stars is that I think it's a bit pricey for the food. But delicious nonetheless.

Sichuan Impression, the newest addition to Alhambra’s vibrant culinary scene, has swiftly become a local favorite in the San Gabriel Valley, renowned for its tantalizingly spicy Sichuan cuisine. This sister branch of the famed Century City restaurant has elegantly carved its niche amidst the spicy food landscape dominated by Chengdu Taste and Chengdu Impression. For those previously daunted by endless waits at other establishments, Sichuan Impression proves to be a revelation, a beacon of culinary brilliance. My visit on a leisurely Sunday afternoon revealed an establishment that effortlessly balances demand and service. Securing a table through Yelp's waiting list was a breeze, and once seated, the convenience of ordering via QR code streamlined the process. The gastronomic journey commenced with the "Impressive" cold noodles—a dish that impeccably marries texture with a subtle yet engaging heat, setting the stage for what was to follow. The temptation continued with the red chili oil wontons and the enticingly peppery "Impressive" dumplings, setting a high standard for flavor and spice. Even the classic Kungpao chicken, though not notably spicy, left an indelible mark with its perfectly crisped chicken, melded with peanuts, scallions, and dry chilies—a rendition that redefines this timeless dish. However, the true star of the evening was the toothpick mutton with cumin—a poetic indulgence, delivering a delightful two-pepper sensation that entices the taste buds and keeps you coming back for more, despite the gradually numbing ma la effect. The unanimous choice of every table, the fish in pepper corn soup, did not disappoint. Its tender, numbingly spicy essence offered a symphony of flavors—a perfect amalgamation of taste and sensation. Not only did Sichuan Impression excel in its culinary offerings, but the service was also efficient and prompt. The parking convenience, tucked away in an enclosed garage, added to the overall experience. The restaurant's interior is a fusion of modern elegance and subtle Asian touches, contributing to a comfortable and inviting ambiance. In conclusion, Sichuan Impression isn't just a restaurant; it's a gastronomic voyage through the numbingly spicy yet remarkably flavorful world of Sichuan cuisine. With its impressive array of dishes, efficient service, and inviting ambiance, it stands tall among the valley's culinary gems, beckoning both connoisseurs and novices alike to savor its culinary brilliance.

Fantastic food! I’ve been looking for a Sichuan place to become a regular at in the area and this takes the cake! Highlights this trip were the crab and the pork ribs (photographed below). Don’t miss the green beans and king pao chicken either!

A modern ambient look as we walked in the restaurant. We came in around 6pm on a weekday and there was no line. They use a self ordering service with QR code, quite convenient. The food came relatively quickly. They're all pretty good, but it wasn't so good to the point where we're impressed. It's average given the price point, but I do like the kitchenware that they use. They have free parking in the garage. I'd come back once a while as it has decent food and a good dining atmosphere.

Sichuan impression is one of the most famous sichuan style so icy restaurant. The restaurant has both indoor and outdoor seating. The food price is decent, same goes for the portion. The flavor is authentic. If you are a spicy food lover, try it out.

Perfect seasoned! It’s my first time here and i only tried 3 dishes, but it’s definitely inpressive. Kong pao, is the best, loving it get a little crispy on the edge makes the texture more interesting. The seasoning is perfect, not too much, just perfect. Mapo tofu is extremely soft and flavorful. You should expect yourself getting too much carbs cause it will invite you add another bowl of rice. Evil! Bean Jelly is one of their signature, love the seasoning, a bit sour, a bit spicy, with strong peanut fragrance. But the texture isn’t my cup of tea. It’s a me thing, i still recommend this dish for the perfect flavour. They offer so many different dishes, and i swear i will comeback for em very soon! Cause it leaves me a fantastic impression of sichuan for sure.

Got the toothpick lamb and boiled boneless fish, both were excellent. The potatoes showed up a bit late so we didn't eat much of them and ended up taking home leftovers, it was a lot of food. Ordering and the wait-list are done completely through the Internet.

I am usually biased towards a spicy chinese food, but this time I am not so impressed 😌. Been wanting to dine here since long time agoo! - Tea Smoked Pork Rib 🐽. I want to first appreciate the texture of the meat. It is so tender and it falls off the bone. However, I feel like it is bland 😢 and I wish the portion is bigger for such a high price point 😜 - Boiled Fish with Rattan Pepper 🐟. one of MY FAVORITEs 💕 It is very numbing and extremely addictive. Flavorful, spicy, and they are very generous with the fish and bean sprouts. 😋 - Fried Spicy Intestine. It's too crunchy that it's missing the tender interior. I also think that this dish is too salty and MSG-y. 🤣 - Stir-fried Chili Chicken 🐓. Same as the fried intestine, too salty and MSG-y for my liking #sorry 😢 - Sauteed String Beans. My party all agrees that this is the best dish 😆! Flavorful and nicely cooked. Very recommended!!

Went here on a whim. Place was nice and clean. The bathroom was clean too, but only had hand dryers. Ordered the steam pork with flour and pumpkin. I thought it was pretty good. I wish the food came with rice. It's 1.50 for a bowl (I took a star off for that; for the price it should be included). I also tried the kung Pao chicken which was good too. My coworkers ordered the rose tea and they enjoyed that very much. Service was so fast, food was ready in less than 10m.

As we were waiting to be seated, we looked at the provided menus only to find out that the prices were outdated and everything was several dollars more expensive. We ordered and paid through toast. Service was excellent. We ordered the sliced kidney, boiled fish w/ rattan pepper, and sliced pork in minced garlic. The sliced pork was the best out of the three and it wasn’t spicy at all. The boiled fish was next and it was mouth numbingly delicious. The sliced kidney was alright.

My absolute favorite, it is always out of this world good. Spicy, but different than what you are used to. They use sichuan peppercorns which give you a numbing sensation and it is absolutely weird the first time but adds to the experience!

One of the most authentic Sichuan restaurant I have been to with awesome services as well. Great flavor and spice level. Clean and safe place to eat as well with good pricing

It was cold inside, but the food was delicious and hot (minus the cold noodle). QR code menu. Ordered family style to share between 4 1. Wontons 5/5 loved the spicy sauce it came with 2. Kung pao chicken 5/5 very flavorful and perfect sauciness 3. Impressive cold noodles 5/5 very flavorful 4. Fried rice 4/5 5. Toothpick mutton 3/5 too much cumin, but that might have been the point. Used the leftover sauce from the wonton to drown out the cumin flavor M/W shared Bathroom 2/5

It’s my friends’ 2nd visit and my first time, this restaurant was Michelin guided 2021, the location is in the downtown of Alhambra, every dishes we ordered was fine taste, traditional but also creative, we finished our 7 dishes, and the dessert. And we walked to have a Taiwanese shakes tea after lunch, very satisfying!! I definitely will return with my family!

The beef and rice was really good but the intestine (pig) soup with potatoes was beyond awful. I believed it’s due to a specific seasoning. You will have a horrible taste in your mouth and stomach. But overall, the place is decent enough to go eat just pick carefully. They were very polite and the place is super clean

Do you like spicy food? Anything here is good for a spicy fix. Enjoyed the dry pot. All of the ingredients were high quality too.
