My wife and I went Alhambra to out this Mexican restaurant called Lupitas Mexican restaurant it been in the same location for many years. The restaurant is close door neighbor to Vittoria Pizza restaurant another good restaurant,we were very curious about Lupitas we know they Mexican food how good is it we went there to try it out. The restaurant is small but very decorated items from Mexico decorated the restaurant. We were looking the menu at the menu display above the counter. We were ready to order my wife order the chicken enchiladas with rice bean and I order the caldo de res or beef stew. The owner offer us chips and salsa the chips were pretty good nice and warm and salsa was pretty good. Then she brought our meal to the table. My wife chicken enchiladas looks very tempting good also my caldo de res or beef stew looks good. The beef stew was amazing good great flavor in the stew there was plenty of meat and vegetables that this meal hearty. The meat was tender little tough but I enjoy my wife enjoy her chicken enchiladas it great flavors in the meal. Overall we enjoyed the meal at Lupitas Mexican restaurant in Alhambra the owner was really nice it feel like in her home and made a home meal.

I have been eating breakfast for years Huevos Rancheros are deliciuos good service every time i order on the phone the waitress remembers me great staff ..

I love the feeling of this place and the service is really good, I really like the lady who was running the place, but I got to say the chile relleno burrito was pretty bland, nothing to write home about. I heard this place is better for breakfast so maybe I'll try that next time

Went on a Saturday didn't realize they don't open until 9am. I got there right at 9am So had too wait for the workers too set up for the day. But definitely worth the wait. Cute comfortable cozy spot for everyone.

Food is not good …. The taste is like can food … as well. The price is not the same as the menu ….is overpriced and food is not worth it …beans are rotten

The food was good but the cheese in the quesadilla was bad. I say check the menu and prices and cross reference with bill. I think they may inflate their prices.

The food was delicious today I had the Chilaquiles Verdes Sunny side up egg, my wife the same with scrabbled Eggs. AMAZING! $15 bucks! Not bad I've paid $18 to $20 before in other places.

Sad to say I requested something to eat. That was not exactly what it was whether it was free or not. I asked for chilaquilas and she gave me basically nachos with red sauce and cut up onions. I was so sad because I was trying to test her food and it turned out to be not what I expected and I painted Christmas on their windows. Oh well it was free

Disappointed with the Al Pastor burrito, it’s mostly made with rice , beans and no AlPastor on the burrito. You can say it’s 100% rice burrito not like the burritos at any Mexican food place. I don’t recommend this place.

this place has gotten incredibly expensive, lunch for 2 was 68 dollars, I won't be returning

When we lived in Ca, this was our favorite place for mexican food. The real deal here, and oh how I miss it! The owner is amazing, and I can't wait to visit and get some amazing food.

Prices are high for a little burrito

They are super nice but food is trash. I am very sorry but it is the truth. I am Hispanic and that food was gross.

Food is ok. Not worth the price. Not like it use to be before. Different cook, food taste different.

Chille relleno is very good. The chips are also fresh and perfectly salted. The carne asada is a little under seasoned, but portions are hearty. The salsa and pico de gallo is alright, not the best, not the worst.

The prices on their private website do not reflect the prices in store. I placed an order over the phone and specifically asked if prices were the same as their menu on their own website. Employee over the phone assured me they were the same. That was far from The truth and what was supposed to be about a $30 family order easily became a $55 order. I’m more upset about the deception. They need to update their online menu ASAP!!

Not good! Don't recommend this place worse burrito I've ever had

Stopped by at an off hour (4pm on a Thursday) and was greeted with excellent and quick service. I tried the burrito gordido, and can confirm it is worthy of being one of their more popular offerings. The burrito was well made and had a good bit of flavors going on. While the pricing was not bargain basement, they were certainly fair, especially for a restaurant that is more than just a takeout spot.
