Very nice attraction in LA where many historic houses are preserved: they were brought here and saved from destruction, then restored and opened to the public. In some of them it's possible to go inside and visit the interiors. I recommend going, very interesting visit. Parking is available in front of the gate. There is a 10$ admission fee.

The Heritage square museum has Old Victorian homes that were saved from demolition. This location has one of the most complete compound pharmacies on the West Coast, and a great experience on Halloween! Also word has it, some of the houses are haunted.

Great place to visit. There is a guided tour with admission. I bought my ticket on site. There is a parking lot just before the museum. Please check out the tour schedule before you go, hours and days may differ.

Heritage Square is a place that more people should know about. They put care into preserving a little bit of Los Angeles' history by saving and restoring these beautiful homes and buildings. After coming here for years to watch movies outdoors, picnic on the grass, dance, sing Christmas Carols and do the spooky ghost tours during Halloween, me and my partner finally got married at the very place we love. It was excellent and cannot recommend it enough ♥️💒

Like giant dollhouses! I really enjoyed coming here. I took the inside tour but was disappointed to learn that they do not take you to any of the upstairs areas in the homes due to some city code enforcement. Oh, well. The tour was still a lot of fun and it was nice to hear about the history of each house. Our tour guide was super friendly, and she had so much information to share. I love how the guides were all dressed in clothes from that particular time. It was cool. The entry is free, but the tours cost. I recommend buying tickets for the tours in advance, however, they sell out fast.

We had a lovely intimate tour of a few of the homes. It was only $10 per person. Well worth the $$ and I’d you have the time I highly recommend it. Parking here can be tight but they have a dirt lot adjacent to the entrance you park in. Be prepared for the narrow street as you approach, it can only accommodate 1 cars width at a time.

A beautiful area boasting the unique chance to compare original mansions of different Victorian eras and to see them on the inside. The staff was lovely, and their pet cat quite friendly. As a tour guide for a victorian mansion (Winchester) myself, I recommend giving the place a look

Excellent tour! The tour guide was so full of information! You don't have to do the tour, you can walk around the outside of the buildings with the $7 ticket. But I highly suggest doing the tour. It's really amazing to look back in time through the amazing preservation that the museum maintains.

Loved our visit here. Miles was our tour guide for the inside tour of the homes. So worth seeing the inside, and Miles was Amazing!!! She had so much cool info about the houses and is such a fan of the Victorian age. We can't wait to go back.

I took the guided tour that takes you inside 4 of the original Victorian houses. Inside is very beautifully decorated with period correct furniture and numerous other bits. Like books, paintings, chandeliers, and wood stoves. It really takes you back to 19th century when you're inside. I was really surprised how small everything is compared to modern layouts of houses. Heritage square museum has the most luxury house on display then a midrange house and a average house from the Victorian era. So you can really see the difference. There's also a farm house on display that was originally in Pasadena on a orange 🍊 farm, it's in the shape of a octagon for better ventilation. And a reproduction of a drug store that was full of everything you'd imagine to see in a pharmacy a 100 years ago. The tour was really nice, it was a group of 10 and I strongly recommend purchasing tickets for it in advance. Like I almost had to wait until the 3 o'clock tour lol but then a really nice lady that came to visit helped me out and I was able to get in at 12. It's well worth the $18.60 for the inside tour too bad no pictures inside but they did have free parking at the end of the culdesac... A small gravel lot.

We didn't have a tour booked, just came to walk the grounds. Nice historic homes and friendly lady in the gift shop. We will definitely book a tour in the future.

I came to Cemetery lane and it was brilliant! The costumes, the decorations, the overall ambiance. AMAZING!! And the folks working really made the experience special. Kids or no, this is a must do for every Angelino!

Neat place to visit to see some beautiful Victorian homes from Los Angeles and the Los Angeles area that were saved from being demolished. They have fun events there too; Halloween and ghosty stuff.

Loved looking at old houses they were so old but so beautiful. Some built in the 1800s but mostly early 1900s. If you want the tour would need to buy online. I would definitely recommend this place especially if you like architecture and old things.

Heritage Square is a pleasant blast from the past. It's nice to visit the vintage houses and to sit on the lawn and enjoy the view.

gorgeous place I love the garden with all the chickens. They allow you to eat the food from the garden like lettuce, small strawberries, and oranges. Only sad thing is I lost my lipgloss there. The lady gave everyone a tour but you cannot go into the houses during covid nineteen

I loved seeing the old houses and architecture of that period. Tours are outdoors only for now. I believe they said indoor tours will resume this summer. It was nice to see SoCal history.

I just love this museum!! They have done such a great job of restoration on the buildings. It's a jewel not everyone knows about. We need to save our history, not destroy it.

Pretty interesting place, my wife and I saw it on the side of the road and decided to stop by. The staff was friendly and helpful. We had a chance to look around the vintage houses despite missing the last tour. It was was only a few dollars to look around, and even the tour prices were pretty cheap. Would definitely go back. I'd like to look around the gift shop some more.

Brought my family for the Freeform Halloween Road event. It was really great looking and lots of fun activities to do. They only give you a couple candies during the trick or treat portion and the tickets are a bit overpriced, but overall I'd come back again since we took lots of great pictures. Also, all the paid actors were really great and fun!

Went to freeform's Halloween Road Event. There was confusion on where the entrance was and Uber dropped me and my kids off at the wrong spot. Aside from that we enjoyed the event.

Open sadly only Saturday. But simply worth a visit. Houses from the 19th century, moved to this place to save them from destruction. There is a parkingground at the end of the street.

I visited and attended Ghost Stories. One of the readers was impressive and connecting with the listeners. The others two are like door knobs. My mother read a lot more better and connecting. My expectations from a professional reader were not met. The warm apple cider and cookies hit the spot on a cold night show. The ambiance and settings are impressive.

So wonderful that these homes were saved. They harken back to a time when houses were works of art. Unlike the sterile, lifeless concrete, asphalt, and stressfulness environment that displaced them. Not everything from the culture of their era was beautiful, but these homes were.

Cemetery Lane at Heritage Square was a huge success. The houses were spooky without being too scary for the little ones. We took our 4 year old and he loved it!

Came here for a spooky swap meet, not for the usual tour that is offered. However I could see how well the houses have been preserved. The architecture, and the history is enough reason to plan a visit or return.

Such an interesting little historic spot. I took the Gold Line and walked which wasn't bad but it's at least a 15 minute walk. There is parking on a narrow neighborhood street and at the end of that street you can turn into the museum's free parking lot which is one way only. It costs $7 to explore the grounds with no tour. We wanted to do the tour but we got there at 1pm on a Saturday and they said the 130 tour was full and the next one was at 3pm. The tour is the only way to enter the houses although I don't believe you go into every house. Take a pamphlet from the front desk and read about each of the houses as you explore. The gift shop is really cute and well curated. The employees were attentive and friendly. I'll definitely come back to do the tour in the future.

One of my favorite things is art. I absolutely enjoy museums especially ones with contemporary/ modern art. Admission is free but you can reserve free tickets online months in advance (they run out) so, you don't have to wait in line for 3 hours like we did. It was worth the wait though. The building itself is a piece of art.

Nothing really to see here unless there's special events going on. Good luck finding a parking space on those special event days. By the way, I was there for a Halloween event, not sure what other events are hosted throughout the year.
