    They would keep on rescheduling and cancelling my appointments. They would tell me to call them back to reschedule, but they wouldn’t even answer the phone. I would try calling multiple times, yet no one would pick up. What is the point of making an appointment if they keep on rescheduling and canceling it!? Poor communication on their end. Would honestly recommend going to a different dentist if you’re able to. 08/2023 Update: The customer service here has not improved whatsoever. I even voiced my complaints kindly to the doctor because the ladies in front would keep on messing up my appointments and would never answer the phone for me to make or reschedule an appointment. But the doctor was throwing all the blame onto me. In all honesty, I did miss one appointment, but then I tried to reschedule it to make up for missing it. And the doctor kept on blaming me, she was saying that all the issues I have with the ladies in the front is because I had missed an appointment. I honestly think it’s unprofessional that the doctor and the ladies in front lack accountability.

    I’m an LAUSD employee who decided to choose this dental coverage and I regret it. This company is so disorganized. I have been trying to get a cleaning for over a month now, and cannot see anyone due to these offices being totally disorganized. It seems to be an issue in corporate, as well as in the individual offices. 1st try: I made an appointment and got a confirmation text and email. I show up and the dentist office is closed. 2nd try: I make an appointment again and when I show up, they tell me there is a TWO HOUR wait time due to the “corporate office” overbooking. 3rd try: I reschedule AGAIN and they call me the day before saying that the dentist called off so I will not be able to be seen. 4th try: I go in again to finally get a check up, left work early and used my sick time, and I then waited an hour and a half before seeing the dentist. The dental assistant tried to recommend me to reschedule AGAIN, telling me it would be another hour wait. Once I told them I had already rescheduled four times, they got the dentist to see me. On top of all of this, when I call them, they never pick up! And the one time they do, I get hung up on or my call is sent to the corporate office who can’t help me. Some of the staff and dentists are nice and friendly, but organizationally, this place is very dysfunctional, and I’ve never had such a ridiculous experience with dentists offices before. I read reviews for other Western Dental locations to see if I should switch offices, and they ALL seem to have the same issues based on reviews. If you’re with LAUSD, I recommend Delta Dental. I’ll be switching once enrollment opens up. P.S. AND when I was there, I heard them talking to another patient who came in for a cleaning and they had scheduled her for another check up. She said she had done the checkup already, and she needed a cleaning. So they rescheduled her again. Just seems like everyone’s time is being wasted. So disappointing.

    I was bait and switched in pricing. The price if a 140.00 simple extraction shot up to 305.00 in the day of the extraction. I have no insurance and have to pay out of pocket. I was taken advantage of and this is unethical. The work done was good and proceeded quickly. But the office coordinator has no ethics and took advantage of my pain

    I had a scheduled appt 11/10/2023 for fillings of cavities as informed by the doctor on my first visit after X-rays. My appt was 12:00 about 12:30 I get called to the front desk to be told with people sitting in the lobby listening that I had to pay $3,862.00 for my dental work. I was shocked and disappointed. The Doctor, Doctor Assistant or Office Manager did not inform me of what was covered or not covered. My observance of this office while sitting in the waiting room is operated very unprofessional and unorganized. I don't know what happened to the Western Dental that I have been a patient for years. I feel as though I am a victim of a bate and switch. I will never refer anyone to this for dental services.

    Never pick up the calls for scheduling or cancellation. Does not greet at the front desk. Does not communicate for follow ups. Does not have the doctor available at the schedule time. Always waiting for 20 to 30 minute past your appointment time. Not all the dental problems taken care of and can be kicked off the next center or just not known of anything. I would not recommend this place to anyone else from last 3 years experience, they were just the best 2 years ago. But last one year it’s been very bad to the worst place to be at.

    1.. I went in for an extraction.. it was almost closing time for them so they went ahead and numbed my mouth. 5 minutes later they started tje extraction.. I WAS AN AWFUL PAIN.. the dentist told me to raise my hand if I couldn't handle it and I did and they just kept on pulling my tooth. Im guessing they just wanted to get it over with to leave and sure enough right as they were finished I saw them packing up their belongings to go home. 2. My mother went in and was told what the insurance was going to cover and what she had to pay... my mother paid off everything she was suppose to pay.... 5 months later she received a bill saying the coverage declined and she would have to pay... not only that, the amount was way different from the contract amount this office gave her. My mother and father went in to ask why they were given false info and all they said was they couldn't do anything. HORRIBLE!

    We are new to Pasadena. I am so happy to find a dentist office. They were so nice to my husband and me. The office staff was very kind and personable. I was able to make an appointment within 2 days. The dental worked advised was right on. Our dentist, dental assistant, and dental hygienist were professional and took us through our next steps.

    Super easy to get an appointment - I actually got in on the day I called. They took my x rays and then scheduled my cleaning / cavities for a week or two later. They take Medi-Cal Dental, and it covered the cost of my xrays, cleaning and cavities
