I have been coming to this park since I was a kid, and it has always been one of the best in the area. You have a lot of open space in the way of fields for soccer, frisbee, football, etc. You also have 2 large playgrounds for different ages as well as a roller hockey rink, a wooded walking path in the back, several pavilions with grills for rent, and a Gaga ball pit. The park is always well-maintained and clean. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to enjoy a park.

Beautiful park and my kids love it. These days with iPads, cell phones and tablets it is hard getting kiddos outside. Not here though, they have stuff for all ages.

Great playground! The accessible playground was large and a fun place for our kiddos to enjoy. The other side of the playground was also nice. There is also bathrooms here in case you need that.

Love this park. Has many pavilions to sit and eat at. I love the one play area is more for kids to use their imagination. While the other is a more typical playground. Lots of things to climb, slide or walk on. Even has areas handicapped accessible. It is always crowded but has enough equipment that never seems overly crowded.

Gorgeous park with one area upon entrance which may be suitable for direct supervision if you like more privacy. Drive further in and there's two parks adjoining next to one another, one for smaller tots is located right behind it! Check it out, especially on nice days like today, there's other kiddos to play with 😊

The restrooms need renovated. I absolutely love this park though otherwise. It's conveniently next to the bike path :)

Very well kept park ! It's the nices one in Madison County IL. It could use a little more things for the kids to do and play around on! Great park

Reserved a pavilion for a party. All went well. Park is in decent shape. Some playthings were broken, more than likely teenagers. Park is fenced off. Playgrounds were loved by the kids. I think I saw 3 different ones. Outside noted above, all in good shape, plenty of shade provided. Each pavilion has a charcoal grill for use.

It's always a blast from the past when I visit this park. I remember many years ago when the entire park was a massive wooden playground paradise. It has been modernized since I was a child, and for the better. New, safer, and clever playsets have taken the place of the old. Winter hours are a bit unreasonable as the season draws to an end, especially if there's an unseasonably warm day. The park closes at 6p during Winter, which can be quite early as sunset draws later in the day in lat January through March. Otherwise, there are plenty of pavilions to get out of the weather and enjoy an afternoon snack or lunch. In addition to the playsets, there's plenty of grassy fields for open play. Parking can be limited on busy days.

Would have given more stars but little shade, playground equipment gets really hot. Also, no dogs allowed. I can understand it for the playground area, but there is a lot of green space away from that. Dogs should be allowed with bags available.

Two awesome playgrounds, very big ones, right next to each other. The kids loved it! Be prepared to walk back and forth between the two lol one playground is shaded and the other isn't so much. It has lots of pavilions with picnic tables, bathrooms, and water fountains. There is a swing for wheelchairs too. It also has a small walking path loop, it's not very stroller friendly though. It gets very busy at times.

I loved this park when I was little and was very sad when they had to tear it down. What they rebuilt captures some of the best parts of the old park. I took my little girl there the other day and she had a very good time. Nice variety. One of our favorite parks.

The staff here are not the friendliest people. They could stand to be a little nicer when it comes to notifying the park goers when it’s closing time.

👍👍 So there was a brick wall in the way of the baseball fields, which I heard a lot of people complain about, but I personally thought that it was a pretty high quality brick wall. Excellent color, great build quality, and I hate baseball.
