Looking for a vegetarian buffet with a mini market? Must stop by! BRING A MASK! Or you’ll have to pay 25 cents for one. Walk in and pay. They have prices on the door outside. You’ll get seated and you’ll have a letter and number so you’ll know which table is yours. It’s quite big inside! Grab your plates etc and once you’re done with your plate, there’s a place for you to put your dirty plate, bowl, cups! Don’t leave it at your table. Drinks: they have different drinks and you can make boba milk tea as well! They have so many food options! My favorite were the flavored tofu dishes! So good!! Soup as well. It’s all very flavorful. Nothing bland. Best part is the the dessert! Shaved ice! They didn’t have bowls so I just used cups for my dessert. Parking: come early because they fill up fast! Highly recommend this spot!

Great all you can eat with all vegetarian options! I went there on the first day of lunar new year and it was packed with people. Pretty sure it was understaffed and food did not come out to the buffet section as quick. It costs $17.99 per person on weekend. They also offer other vegetarian snacks, noodles, and frozen foods right by the entrance! Overall, great experience

They have good selections of dishes for buffet. Price is good. Staff are friendly. I was a little concerned about eating buffet during pandemic time. However, the table setting there is good for social distancing from other parties and they ask customers to wear masks when leaving their table. No talking at buffet area, too. Which made me feel more comfortable dining there. I took one star off because not every dishes were good. Don’t take me wrong, most are yummy and I definitely will go back. It’s just a couple dishes were not very well prepared or presented. Last, I would like to mention that they have a small Asian vegetarian grocery store inside. Many good products there.

No matter if you are a vegetation or not, it will absolutely worth your time and money to try all the gourmet dishes at this buffet restaurant. I ate here every single day when I stay at LA . They change dishes sometimes, and there is a very nice mini supermarket attached, so convenient. Please go there, I beg you.

Surprisingly delicious and lots of different offerings of vegetarian and vegan options.. I myself am not a vegan or a vegetarian but i'vegetarian but I found the food to be pretty delicious and some of them did taste like meat. And they have a really sizable grocery section and a lot of snacks from Asia which it is quite surprising.. Also the price for the grocery and the snacks are comfortable to any of the larger Asian markets. The lunch price is also fair so I would probably come back again because this place is close to my house. They can do a little bit better in speaking up the place to look more festive Because right now it's looking kind of blue me and dark on the inside. They are understaffed so you might have to wait a little bit for service.

Everything is vegetarian and some vegan friendly buffet, including salad bar, hot pot bar, and desserts including milk teas, icee dessert, ice cream, and fruits. Lots of choices in food and overall a clean and organized restaurant for everybody. Due to Covid, the selections and variety of food has been reduced, however the taste has improved, thus this is still The buffet place for vegetarians. Plus now they have a small shop for all your vegetarian options.

If your vegan/vegetarian, love traditional Chinese dishes and affordable high quality buffets, and if you don’t eat onion and garlic for any reason, this is your place!! They even make their own kimchi using ginger instead of garlic. My husband and I are cult-level obsessed with Sweet Veggie. The food is always fresh and well prepared, plus many options for whatever fits your mood.

Pretty good value and variety of dishes! I would go early 1-2pm to enjoy the food at its freshness. It’s a bit oily but fine. The staff was friendly, since it was our first time, the owner took its time to explain us how it worked and show us around. They have an inside market so all the products you eat you can buy uncooked right at the spot. There is no tip, it’s net prize which is great. It seems clean and organized. They had many beverage options and even tacos and pizza. I would come back.

We had weekend lunch here and for the price we paid, less than $20/person for buffet weekend lunch, we didn't expect too much and no complain. We probably had to pay the same price (or more) if going to a regular vegetarian restaurant anyways. We came right about the time they opened for lunch, around 11:35am. No long line yet and it was pretty empty inside. We lined up and paid for our lunch. The receipt printed the section and table number. We walked towards the back of the restaurant passing their buffet counters. Some food sections were still closed off and not serving any food. Currently, there were only 2 big counters serving food and drinks. Food wise is average but there were many choices. The drink and cool dishes section were placed together. If I remember correctly they have 4 different cold drink - black tea, wintermelon tea, milk tea, passion fruit green tea. There were toppings that you can add to your drinks, like boba, jelly, etc. I had two plates of different items and I was full by the end. We left around 1pm and the restaurant is now full of people and there was a line waiting to pay and dine. There is a grocery food section where you can buy vegetarian items. There are plenty of choices, line vegetarian instant noodles, different types of drinks, sauces, dried ingredients, ice-cream and more. I live in OC area, so it is a long way drive for me to come here. I don't mind stopping by again if I am in the hood.

Amazing vegan/vegetarian buffet, can't wait to come back again! And what's more is that there's a little grocery store inside that has all sorts of specialty vegan Chinese food and mock meats. You would not find them at any of the big supermarkets as far as I can tell, so totally worth checking out.

Back on this vegan journey, I googled this place and I've never been to a Vegan Buffet. Great selection and flavors. I want to bring my family back

No need to tip. $17.99 for weekend. Closed on Tuesday. The good thing is you have to leave your plates at food collection area after you eat. It's a little bit salty for me. You can have customize boba tea and shaved ice.

We love the buffet style all you can eat. And the food prepared is healthy. You have so many dishes to choose from. Both to cater vegan and vegetarian consumers. If you are looking to try a healthy balanced lifestyle of eating, this is the place!

Sweet Veggie is all about delicious food that is (mostly) actually healthy, too, and the awesome, friendly people working here. Inside the massive restaurant they have an. amazing "vegetarian" grocery shop, too! I find it a very "liberating" experience to shop freely, with NO NEED TO WORRY about all the blood, pus, and hormones--let alone the massive amounts of pollution, misery, and disease that fill other "regular" stores with meat, dairy, eggs, etc.

Very great vegetarian buffet with vegan options. Unlimited drinks have very good selection from standard milk tea to wintermelon tea. Selection of food is great and full if flavor. The self disposal of dishes and respect for the establishment is great. Value for money overall is solid.

A wonderful buffet style dine in, that includes plenty of tasty vegetarian/vegan food. This included cold/hot dishes, soups, and a dessert area. There was plenty of options for drinks including, hot/cold teas, coffee, and juice. To note, drink are also included in the meals ticket. I attended during the dinner hours on a quiet Monday night. The dining area and self service areas were very clean. They had us hand sanitize our hands before grabbing a new plate each time. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this restaurant for anyone wanting to try new foods or if they are looking for a all vegetarian style buffet.

Sweet Veggie is a very average restaurant for SGV Asian food, IMO. If you've never had Asian vegetarian, this could be a good place to start. I have tried other veggie restaurants so I wasn't new to the cuisine. However, I must say the dishes mostly tasted the same. You can tell they were created by the same chef. I skipped the porridge because there was no room for it. I did enjoy the hot and sour soup. They even offer American-style salad mixes with dressing, and the veggies seemed very fresh! At the end of the meal, you have the option of getting some shaved ice as well, which seems like a great idea. There's unlimited everything! However, mine melted quickly so I only got to eat some of it. It was all older first generation Chinese people when I went today. Also, the workers were eating their own food, which is a good sign.

Unlike other buffets, it's not self seating and someone won't show you a seat despite having an assigned table. Not horrible, just different. Food is great, it's so nice having a different buffet option since so many American and Chinese buffets are essentially the same. Major bonus for being vegetarian and vegan for those who want or need that. Ice cream was iced over and the scoopers aren't warmed so scooping it is annoying. This is not the biggest part of the place though. Beverages (like tea) are included in the price so you can enjoy drinks that aren't just water. They have a little store selling groceries but I didn't have time to visit.

Excellent place even if you are not vegetarian. Lots of great choices both western and Asian food. It’s so fresh, clean and delicious. You can tell the food is made with love and compassion. Such a great value for what you pay. I recommend this place all the time to my friends

Abundant choice of selections, refillable tea / cofee is included and no tip required. The whole place including restroom is clean, a reflection of the standard of owner and quality of patrons. One just needs to take one’s finished dining wares to the rack area. I have been here for months, it is one of my favorite and wholesome eateries, and expected in the foreseeable future!

Delicious food, beautiful music! I just love that place! I’m vegan, tons of vegan options!

Oh yes yes yes! This is what I’ve been looking for for a long time! It is all you can eat vegetarian, mostly vegan, Asian food. Clearly inspired by Buddhist Chinese cuisine. All you can eat for one flat fee. Just wonderful. For those who don’t know this kind of food, there are some items that will seem very unusual. It is worth a try. But there are also more conventional dishes that will be easily recognizable and delicious! Lots of veggie meats and options. The milk teas and other beverages are included. I definitely encourage you to try this. If you bring pickier eaters, they also have pizza spaghetti and french fries. It has their particular flair, but might be more comfortable for them.
