We waited for about an hour and a half before getting the seat. Best thing is they offer different kind of meat and seafood. Also, u can have your own soup base, no need to worry getting sickness from someone else

Ribeye - tender, decent marbling, ordered a 2nd round Waitress suggested the 6. Top Blade which is very popular but I didn’t have the room and didn’t want to waste! Solid selection of veggies, appetizers, sauces. Friendly attentive service, and tons of space in the restaurant so it didn’t feel crowded. Their goma sauce was good - essential to a great shabu experience. Will definitely come back with friends so I can try ALL the meats.

Great shabu-shabu place. You get your own pot, so you don't have to share the big main pot with everyone. The buffet can be a bit cleaner, but all in all I had a great time.

Excellent selection of meats, veggies, and hot pot condiments. We came on a cold rainy day and all the condensation coming off the steam from each hotpot made the floors wet and dangerous to walk on. They really need to improve the ventilation. Otherwise food is great!

Good AYCE shabu-shabu place!!! Unfortunately, service is still not so good.. the restaurant still insists on using plastic forks as it's main utensil to give to customers - using the 'Pandemic' excuse... in reality.. it's just being lazy (esp. it's May 2022 now). - Don't you know that 'Plastic particles under heat can cause Cancer'... Food overall are delicious 😋 But the services really need to improve!!!#@& 😅🧐😒

The broth and food is always clean and consistent. Very fresh love it! We have been coming here for a long time, but my recent visit (9/5/23) we noticed that the slices if meat got very thin. It's not a bad thing, for shabu should be eaten with thin slices. As for the service, the lady at the front (long blond hair) never really smiles. Yesterday we got there around 11:57 and the door was opened. There was a group already waiting inside. The hostess comes rushing in at 11:58 and informs us that it's not 12:00 yet and that we need to step outside. We all sort of stared at her, and she said "we have 2 more mins, please wait outside". REALLY?!?!?!? But she's the hostess, should always be smiling. Never seen such. I'm don't know the servers name, but she's the young Asian lady that always wears her hair in a bun.. she's thr BEST!!! Thank you for your great service!!! Always attentive, never have to haul her down because she's ALWAYS on top of it!! The rest of the servers, I've seen fool around, chit chat with other workers, and I've even seen the meat cutters on their phones! You're touching meat and on your phone, and then BACK to cutting meat?! Ps. When it's hot, the AC doesn't really work and they have the fans on. Be ready to SWEAT! Pps. Please clean the restrooms. VERY dirty, especially the handicap ladies room..

One of the good deal spot for hot pot. 💯 Eat all you can: SEA FOOD - EGG ROLL- NOODLES- Soup base of your choice. Just need to keep the cleanliness of the whole restaurant including bathroom. “There’s always room for improvement” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

All you can eat shabu shabu place. Soup stock is always important at these types of restaurants. I'm going to compare Shabuya with HaiDiLao. HaiDiLao is a la carte so it's going to be more expensive (and depending on the number of wagyu beef dishes you get, a whole lot more expensive) at the end of the meal than AYCE at Shabuya. The choices for the thinly sliced meats (beef, pork, chicken, lamb) are sufficient, with 6 plates to start and brought to your table and you can keep asking for more as you finish them. There is the central buffet location where various seafood, meatballs, vegetables, sauces and condiments are. There is a definite lack of fruits and desserts vs regular buffets such as Kami and Shiki. $33 dinner here vs $36 at Shiki. I would go Shiki for the much larger variety of food. However, the younger crowd will prefer Shabuya as it is set up as a modern cafe with neon lights and non-stop attractive K-pop videos on many screens.

A favorite hot pot restaurant of mine, Shabuya offers a very good variety in all categories. From prime cuts to seafood, and all the accompaniments Shabuya is popular among seasoned and new fans. The Alhambra location is well organized and oftentimes less crowded than their K-Town location with the exception of Friday and Saturday evenings. The service also is a bit more attentive from the many recent times I have visited for this review.

This is a new one that I visited. WOW - it's literally all you can eat in there. Just be wary of their busy time that you might have to wait in the heat. They offer meat and seafood options at a one-priced. If you are a lover lover and you can eat, this place is definitely for you.

Cool place with over all good service. My only gripe with them is they look for any excuse to cancel the weekday lunch special by claiming it's a holiday. This has happened to me 3 times and the final time I went to an alternate place that didn't pull this card. Like I said it's a cool place with good service and you'll probably like it but if you have any intentions of going for the weekday lunch special which is a difference of $7, give them a call first. Who knows what holiday they will claiming that day like, Star Wars or 420 day. So, give them a call first otherwise if you don't mind paying the dinner rate, go for it, it's a cool place minus 2 stars for the non official holiday thing of coarse.

We went for lunch and had a big party. Once our party arrived we got seated right away. Everything tasted pretty great. I really liked the drink specials they have. A lot of buy 2 get one or buy one get one for a dollar. Good place to eat and drink. Only negative thing is the bathroom is filthy. The changing station is HORRIBLE. You are better off changing your kids in the car

My 1st visit and love it. Like the soup #3 pork broth is tasty, if you like spicy can choose #4 taste good but to spicy for me. If you change the soup just pay extra $1.

I love Shabuya,. I've been to the DTLA branch more than three times as it is my cousins and I's go to hotpot place. Although,I think I like the Alhambra branch even more as I think it is far better. They have better selections and cooked foods are already out unlike the one in DTLA. Every single thing about this restaurant is great. I will always come back as this is my favorite hot pot place specially during cold weather like now. I went with friends and can guarantee that they love it too.

This is a fantastic place for AYCE Shabu Shabu! You choose your soup broth and meats from the servers then add the fixings, noodles, seafood, veggies, sides and sauces from their huge buffet table. All the servers were polite and there's a 90 minute limit per table. Reservations are recommended during peak times.

First time trying hot pot and this place was the best! I've heard that sometimes it's a little confusing having to flavor your broth, they give you samples so you can try the broths and choose the one you like. All the sides were good and it had a nice assortment of noodles! And the meat was 🔥. Will definetly be returning and bringing my friends to try it out too!

This is all you can eat. It gets packed and can accommodate large parties so there may be wait but they also have a yelp wait-list that you can join. The staff is amazing! Very attentive and polite and everywhere so it's easy to flag someone down. They don't charge for anything left over. They have different broths and meat selections that you'll order with your server along with drinks after you've been seated. Everything else is self serve buffet style. They provide gloves to wear before you start handling the buffet for cleanliness which I love especially in a covid world. The front bar has all the veggies. Side bars have sauces, the back bar has a large selection of seafood, different noodles, dumplings and other items. They have a small appetizer area for white rice and egg rolls. The staff can refill your broth at any time, just wave em down. They do have a 2 hour table limit once you've been seated,so you are timed. You will get stuffed! Worth the price!
