Great gym! The La fitness off main just closed my only issue is the pro results staff acting like they own the gym specifically the green mat there is already a training area….. why he feels he needs to cone off the mat for hours is a tad bit extreme they put all medicine balls as if we cant use them….. no other staff does it no other la fitness ! now that the other gym is closed we should feel welcomed. YOU do not own the mat and the equipment its for all CUSTOMERS who pay as myself.

5/9/2022 I go to the fitness store, Julio help me, I think he is a good salesperson, he introduced the Fremont store to me, step by step, a lot of detail and give me very good offer, I really appreciate him. He is nice and friendly and give me very good customer service and he has so many patience to the customer. So finally I register from him, so I want to give him 5 stars review and hope he can get more and more customers and hope the store better and better. Clean place and very good location in Alhambra. Close to my house and working place. I will often go there. Because I need loose weight. Lol I try to use these machines and feel fun, it is my first time play in fitness in my life. Right now I want to try boxing.

Great gym! Very clean, has lots of windows. I hate gyms without windows, it's claustrophobic and just feels like you're working out in a basement. They have almost every equipment you can think of. Usually not too crowded because it's a pretty big gym. They have a basketball court, squash court, swimming pool, saunas. And they have classes and trainers that are awesome. All around an awesome gym. I love this gym. Good prices too.

This is my first time at this location, as the Main St. location just closed permanently. The building design is really nice and physically spacious, but it's way too crowded. Much of your time is used waiting for the equipment you need, and it's thus a challenge to get a quality workout. With the recent Main St. location closure, members will come to the Fremont location, making it even more crowded.

Too crowded. Doesn’t matter what time you go, I went on a Tuesday at like 10 AM and I still couldn’t get a decent dumbbell workout in because of how many people were in the space and using the dumbbells. No one puts back the dumbbells either. Also, the machines are too close together making it awkward when having to wait for someone to finish using a machine. Or a random guy will just be staring all awk at me waiting for me to be done w/ a machine. Parking situation sucks too and takes a while to get in and out. Better off just paying more to go to Snap or Anytime Fitness. Hoping they will do something to accommodate the closing of the Main St. gym. Staff is friendly tho.

The gym is good most equipment works and is for the most part clean. The staff really try to push any products or programs on u I went to get a body fat percentage and a general BMI and the "trainer" kept pushing the personal training. The session is 25 minutes with them and 25 minutes solo but say the session is 50 minutes when it's not. All the information they try to sell u or show u its what u need you can find easily online like diet plans, how to use the machines, a journal and workout plans. I ended up getting a trainer from outside the gym works out better for me and had way better benefits. Also incase your wondering it's $720 a month with L.A Fitness Personal Training.

Never has paper towels in the restroom. I come everyday basically , and there’s none outside either to clean machines. The people who clean are just vacuuming random spots, pointless. Only bad thing bout this gym have to make sure you bring your own wipes and towels.

I created a membership with this particular gym because they have childcare, but every time I want to use it I get hit with the “too many kids “ . I guess they can only let 6 kids in at a time. It’s just discouraging and I’m properly not going to pay the next month and go with planet fitness . Huge disappointment!! I wish they would of told me this before I spent a dollar.

This gym is horrible, always pack, since the other gym on main Street CLOSED. It's been a month, and I haven't been able to use any of the machines, always busy and /or people using them to sit down and be on their phone, taking their sweet time- if you say something to them, they feel ofended or combative. HORRIBLE GYM!

Good machine selection. Pretty clean. They only give you 2 hours free parking. I go over occasionally. Then I have to pay $1 - $5. I hate having to keep track of the clock while I'm working out but all well. Update- their weight room is ridiculously crowded. That area should be at least twice as big as it is.

There’s is. A policy in the sauna people can’t talk up. In the sauna. And. They’d. Still. Do. I don’t care. And I don’t. Want to listen. If they have money. Or. Restaurants They should stop. And. Respect the policy. But some people don’t. Have education and respect others.

I love the gym itself, but the staff do little to clean or sanitize equipment. Some of the hand sanitizer stations don’t even work, and it’s been like this since it reopened. It’s a big free for all; I don’t mind, but as a new gym-goer I would be extremely disappointed and confused as there are weights strewn about all over the place. In fact, of the 3 years I have been going to this gym, I have never seen a staff member sanitize or rack a weight, besides the custodian who is the only one constantly working hard. In addition, the attitudes of most of the staff members are atrocious. There have been a few times where new staff members have given me an attitude when trying to check in, and I’ve been tempted to take them out back and spank them like the bad babies they are.

LA Fitness' limited hours, are especially a drag and make it difficult to find an uncrowded gym. They have hung on to limited hours when the rest of the world has gone back to normal. I am surprised that this doesnt get in the way of adding new memberships. As well, the free weights are a mess as nobody polices returning them to the racks. No signage discourages people from sitting at a station while using their cellphone this means it is difficult to get a timely workout or to share a station as folks should!

Like this place overall but this place has the least hot sauna of any gym I’ve been to in the country. Usually I can barely survive 15-20 min and at this location I have left the sauna before at 30 min from boredom. I hope it is temporary because of the high spike in energy costs because relaxing in a dry sauna for half an hour should not be possible and undermines the point of a sauna. Turn it up please!

Came here multiple times - ready to quit. Gym is always packed. Sometimes half hour wait for squat machine. Session today - no dumbbells below 40 available. Done spending ages waiting at this gym. They’re overselling to make up for pandemic losses and it’s making the entire place way too packed.

LA Fitness in this location is very good. Equipment is in good shape, pool is large, jacuzzi is larger than average by about double, sauna in each locker room. Overall very good. I also have bought the large training package. Beware the strong sales tactics but it can help you if you need a push to get started. I have been very happy with my trainer but had to try a few. Each has a unique personality and style.

LA Fitnesses on Fremont is one the best facilities of the chain around the area. The location is fully equipped with weights and machines that compete with other chains that charge more. In addition it has a basketball court, racket ball courts, pool, juice bar and a kids club. All in all you get good value for your money. Downside is always busy during rush hours.

I wish I lived near this location. It's the largest and cleanest LA Fitness location I've seen. Esp considering the good maintenance and good ratio of people to equipment. I was here for dinner with friends and ended up in the area earlier than expected to did a quick efficient workout here. While busy was able to use all the equipment I needed. Didn't have time to jump in the pool but could see it was empty lanes, well maintained.

This place uses the usual scam where they make it excessively difficult to cancel a membership. Came by in person to cancel at 1:30 on a Monday. They refused to cancel my membership because the one and only person that could do it stepped out. What kind of bull is that!? Find an honest gym.

Parking is horrible!!! This gym is so overcrowded. I haven't been able to workout because the parking structure has this long line to get into and good luck with getting out of there without getting stuck for 30min when crowded. Validation is only 2hrs after that you get charged. Which is why I try to park on the street but I guess everyone is doing it now so no parking lately. It frustrating so due to this I will be canceling my membership.

It’s a great place to train, the best hours to train are between 13:00 hrs to 17:00 pm, after 6 p.m the place has a lot of people. The installation’s are clean and the machines are in good conditions.

Have a couple classes plus indoor pool . Senior member benefits paid by insurance. A lot of machines but not the one I needed to continue my therapy. Personal training for a fee. Women's locker room has only one handicapped shower, often in use when I'm ready yo use it. Should handicapped 2-3 handicapped showers.

Well, if you want a professional gym, this isn’t it. It’s just ok. You will wait double normal time to work on machines because annoying people are texting or watching YouTube. Hardly any classes. There’s nobody to help show you proper uses of machines on the floor even though the sales person tells you that people will show you to get you to sign up. My personal trainer was 15 minutes to my session and then there were high pressure sales tactics. But the thing that got me most was that you aren’t allowed to kick the heavy bags because they aren’t secured with the right hardware and they fall off the hooks. In an era of MMA, who has even heard if such a thing. So i have decided to go to a different LA fitness where you can actually use the heavy bags.

I’ve been to many locations (The valley, Glendale, Pasadena, Riverside & Corona) and this one feels too crowded, parking is a problem takes forever to get out since there’s only one exit and you still have to see a cashierto let you out! I used to come here for the cycling classes they have 3 instructors that rotate 2 are great but the 3rd not so much I believe his name is Frank he does not allow you to listen to your body and gets in your face in a bully type of way goes around and gets uncomfortably close which is a bit disrespectful. My two stars are for Rolo he’s great and the second one is bald (unfortunately I don’t know his name) he’s fantastic! I wish they would update their app with the correct instructor for the day, all the other locations do. Bathrooms always out of Paper and very dirty.

My first time at this location and it's a bit too crowded 🙃. I enjoy LA fitness but the layout needs to be a bit better there's no space for strength training machines they stay occupied and there should be an area for stretching. The free area is occupied by trainers. All the weights were out of place. The strength training machines were missing equipment so you have to bring your own. The sauna room looks nasty. I do bring my own clorox wipes and i wipe before i use equipment. Im starting to realize the gyms are just nasty and I have to protect myself. I'm good on this location 😌.

They have a good selection of exercise machines. They do a decent job of repairing machines in a timely manner. It is kept clean. The worst part is the other gym goers, that's all. I'm not sure how helpful the staff is, I don't ask for anything.

Awesome personal training at this gym! Trainers at SoFit Pay clise attention to your safety while training and they don't over work areas that you may had past injuries. Also whole focusing on form and posture I would recommend them to anybody. But bring your pocketbook

It's a neat and clean gym. Plenty of equipment that works and is not broken. Has a juice bar, and friendly and helpful people. Parking is a bit of a pain but other than that, great gym.

I absolutely love this place! Being someone who doesn't do yoga regularly, Ritual is definitely challenging but very welcoming and I always feel fantastic when I leave (and VERY sweaty). They not only supply towels but the mat, mat towel and clips as well! The music and the flows are different than your standard yoga practice which I personally prefer. The best part is when they come around at the end and place an ice cold eucalyptus towel on your forehead and give you a quick massage. Everyone should try Ritual at least once! And by once, you will most likely love it and keep coming back :)

Good gym but free parking is only good for 2 hours and the gym is packed after work. It is always clean and equipment in working conditions includes 5 racquetball courts, basketball court and swimming pool.

I've been going here for years and all I can say that this is a very nice and clean gym. The restrooms are well taken care of and the machines are good quality. The pool is also in great shape and the sauna works very well.

  • 4/5 Susan D. 2 years ago on Google
It has clean facilities and validated parking for 2 hours. The best thing is there are EV chargers on site so I can charge my car while working out. Just wished they offered more classes.

  • 4/5 Valerie F. 2 years ago on Google
It is a great place to work out and the pool is nice to do laps in as well. Due to covid I haven't felt super comfortable taking the classes mainly because of wearing a mask during vigorous moving is hard to breath and I don't have health issues with breathing either. The only thing I would say I don't like about this place is the customer service. They do not answer the phones hardly ever. Even when it's not busy. But aside from that I do enjoy this place a lot.

  • 4/5 Raul R. 2 years ago on Google
Pretty clean and the machines are newer than other LA fitness. I normally go around mid morning and there's no problem with getting machines or weights. I would give it a 4.5 stars would recommend.
