I remember back on 1983 I was about 14 I was at the waters edge bait fishing .I look to my right and Im glad I happen to be at the right place at right time .I saw a kid he was about 9 0r 10 years old I just happen to see his head disappear under the water when I saw his hands break the water line I drop my fishing pole ran in and pulled him up by that time other people helped him me bring him ashore.i never got his name or knew who he was I'm just glad he was ok. 6 6 22 WHENEVER I GO TO LEGG LAKE FOR SOME REASON I GO TO THE EXACT SPOT AND EVERYTHING THAT HAPPEN THAT DAY 41YEARS AGO PLAYS OUT LIKE IF IT WERE YESTERDAY

Beautiful and very huge park. I usually go here just to walk around. My pups really like coming here too. I see people fishing here and racing their RC Boats (my apologies if they are called something else, i don't know what they are called). Note, you do have to pay for parking.

We drove an hour from our house to come for my birthday, we wanted to rent a paddle boat. First off this kid had us standing waiting by the booth for about ten minutes. Then when he came back, said he couldn’t rent out a boat because it had closed 5 minutes ago. Not our fault he wasn’t doing his job. Then he had the audacity to be very rude and say we were only standing there 2 minutes. Never coming back again, he ruined my whole birthday experience.

It’s a beautiful, HUGE park that has a 3 mile loop around the lake. Also, has lots of picnic tables, benches to enjoy the lake & nature,m & exercise equipment throughout the park. Lots of trees & shaded areas to just relax.

Growing up close to this park was some of of the best years of my life. Watched them build the 2 lakes closes to the freeway. The nature center is a must see place. Soo much to see at this place. Come early.

Such a happy home for such beautiful fowl too bad people need to be so inconsiderate and throw trash and all debris. Feed bread and what ever. It's a wonderful place to visit, but to see all the food wrappers, bottle caps, masks, just to name a few trash clutter... The fowl is so beautiful as Nature would have it.. 2022 Let's not trash this beautiful home for our fowl... For our happy ENJOYMENT.. Years ago it was a good clean park and now I've seen trees have fallen and branches broken, some restrooms are closed, water level has dropped.....very disappointed to go anymore

I've been fishing here since I was about 7 and the park was nice then to fish but like now they need to cut some of the brush and clean some of the lake up

By far this is one of the nicest park I’ve been to, very huge in size, actually it’s 2 parks on both sides of the 60fwy, i personally go there for the 2 mile running or walking trail, it does have nice play area for the kids with swings and all that stuff, bbq areas, also a great designated area just for those people who do RC boats, also there is boat pedal rentals but regarding food venders, I only see a few selling maybe fruit and ice cream, overall it’s a nice family park. Have fun

Great Lake and open park to take your dog for a walk or run while you fish or enjoy a walk around the track with your best buddy. The fishing here is great they’re is a lot of cover for drop shot fishing as well too water or worm fishing
