(Reviewers note: I tried to rectify my issue through proper channels prior to leaving this negative review. ) Upon having all four tires replaced on my Honda Odyssey, when I picked up my van and they handed the keys over-they handed me a sheared off bolt for one of the lugs that held on my front left tire. He did so without much expression, and proceeded to walk away. When I inquired who was responsible to fix this damage to my vehicle, he shrugged and tried to walk away again. I insisted on getting a managers contact, and when that failed (out of office, no longer working there etc) I contacted corporate. They were great on the phone, and let me know someone from the location would be in contact with next steps. What I received was a curt phone call deeming it “normal wear and tear” and my responsibility for not maintaining my vehicle properly. No accountability or responsibility paired with terrible communication and customer service. Be warned, if they damage your vehicle, they will make it your responsibility, not theirs.

Since I was near I drove to the Costco in Alhambra to have them check and fill my tires. I’ve done this at several other Costco’s never had an issue. They’re always happy to help and get me on my way really quick. As I pulled up two employees were hanging out have a conversation next to one of the stalls as I get closer one of the employees walks away, and the other one looks overly annoyed that I’m asking him a question. I ask if he can check my tires, he proceeded to tell me that there’s two stalls next to the building and I can add air myself (they are self service). I point out that both stalls are in use, he says I just have to wait. I proceed to ask him if he can do it since I have a handicap placard display he doesn’t even answer me and walks away. I go over to Just Tires, the gentleman there is happy to help me check the air on each of my tires and let me know that I have a nail in one of them also mentioned that if my tiles are from Costco, I should go back there since they offer free fix a flat on their tires. I drove back to Costco, where the employee that I had spoken to before and three others are outs sitting on a bench on break. I go into the office. The employee at the counter says he can fix my tire but it’s going to take about 5 1/2 hours before they can get to my car. Since I don’t have 5 1/2 hours to spare I leave and as I’m walking out, one of their employees is helping a guy get air in their tires, even though one of the stalls is available in the self service area. This is plain rude, they are willing to help a guy, but not a female.

Wayyyyy quicker than Pepboys. Appointment only takes like an hour compared to Pepboys which is like 5 hours! Love that there's warranty and if you ever need to repatch, it's included in pricing. Most of the staff will be familiar faces unlike other spots that have newbies that can't even torque your wheels to spec. The nitrogen is a nice touch too with the green stem caps.

Sadly I came to Costco with great expectations. Got my car back with the four tires smired with a grey substance. Very bad, when I tried to cleaned it up I noticed scratches on all of my rims. I then went back to put a formal complaint, I filled out a form and the tire shop assistant manager promised to send it the same day and that someone will contact me. 3 WEEKS later after that form was filled out I NEVER got a call from anyone…I called one more time to the store manager whom was nice and polite, he promised someone will contact me within 48 hours…which at this time, it happened. After 1 MONTH of my first complaint I got their insurance company to call…they file a complaint…asked me to take pictures of the damage…and so far after 2 MONTHS from the last time I haven’t gotten an answer. FYI Costco Claim #003632-619437-GD-01 … agent Michael Comer…Sad to say but I’ve gotten way better service at my neighborhood tire shop. STAY AWAY from at least this tire shop. 3 months now and no solution to my problem.

I came here to buy new tires. The employees are not nice and have rude attitude. The guy told me that my car would be ready in 4 hours, but I waited for 6 hours! They only care about appointments first and do not care about walk-ins. They will not do walk-ins first and take a long time. This is not fair because everybody is busy and has places to go. Installing tires should take only 30 minutes to 1 hour, not a very long time to do. But the employees are wasting time. They do not do their work, they always sing and talk gossip inside! I waited a whole 6 hours just for them to put tires and I paid so much money. The price is very expensive and they do not offer discounts. The employees also do not help pump air for other customers. Very bad customer service. Other tire centers help put air into the tires for customers so the customer do not have to do anything.

The people who work here are very kind and patient. We had an issue with our battery that we had bought in April and this was a last minute issue that my parents wanted to handle ASAP so they woke me up at 8AM to wait in line til they opened (which was at 9AM) I was frustrated with my mom and my brother about a car battery issue that I had no knowledge and my brother wasn’t there with me and my mom is first generation immigrant who barely speaks English and was only here bc the membership is under her name. There was an issue that I wasn’t aware of and was out of my control and it almost seemed like I wasted my time. Ernesto was extremely helpful. I appreciated his patience and helpfulness. I sometimes hear bad things about the Costco tire team but I’ve never been myself so they was really nice to see that they were kind. There was another gentleman working who I had asked a question to earlier before opening who was also helpful and kind. I was very grumpy this morning due to the nature of the situation and I’m not as early of a bird as I’d like to be so the fact that this was far from a hard time is greatly appreciated.

Big line for the front desk only 2 guys . They really take their time🙄🙄. I made line like everybody needed to replace battery under warranty. Then after 10 minutes come back with my battery to be replaced and this guy (same that attends me before) sends me to do the line again. So 1hr to replace my battery all because long line and 2 guys sometimes attending. If you want to do something like this take precautions with your time. And always it has been same.

Make an appointment online. They never answer the phone. They will get you in, but I had to wait 7 hours.

They took a while on Sunday to get my tires done, but overall it was a good time. I ordered them online for next Friday appt. I did a walk-in they told me wait time was est as 8-10 hours, but they finished around 2 hours later. Pretty good turn around. Don't expect lots of service members working on Sundays. My expectations were met and I felt good. For the online orders they told me the tire stems were a separate charge so beware. You will have to pay an additional 14ish dollars for this service, I was not given an option to exclude this cost. If anyone needs tires I'd recommend Costco. I got the Michelin ones on 1/1/2020 and got free installation. Great price. Good service.

New hours... could’ve sent emails/calls to those who still have 7:00 am appointments as an update to their new operation hours. Other than that, yes it’s slow, but the get it done right.

Went in AM on a Wednesday. Never actually got to speak to anyone, so non-review? 1 person in reservation line, i'm 3rd person in walk-in line, waited 15 minutes, now 4 ppl behind me...neither line moves, i leave, went elsewhere. Imagine I paid a bit more but who knows, never spoke to anyone. Between the parking and traffic just getting into the parking lot, should have known better, i loathe having to go to this costco when the wife sends me.

A few days ago, I went for tire rotation. The next day, I noticed a hubcap and valve cap was missing, so I approached their manager Aaron, later he showed me the footage confirming the they did install the hubcap, but did it show they snap it back properly? I don’t think so, cause I noticed the valve caps were installes very loosely, too. I am upset because the tire center manager Aaron refused to admit it was an employee's mistake, instead attributing the issue to the hubcap being cheap and made of plastic, claiming they are prone to getting loose or missing, yeah, for 1.5 year it was firmly attached to the wheels, and it just went missing the next day after the rotation? Such behavior from an employee at a company like Costco, known for its customer service quality, is simply disgraceful. Update: A warehouse manager was super nice, he helped me solve this issue.

Thank you Costco Tires. I want to highlight Tony's customer service in particular. I was feeling dismissed after my initial phonecall with the tire center, but Tony L. made things right. I really appreciate the work done on my car today.
