    We have been a loyal customer with this company for a couple years. But they recently changed management and screwed us in the process! We order a living room set from them, when they didn’t have it in stock they provided us with a used set with a large slice across the back of the couch. After having the used set for 6 months paying our payment every 2 weeks, we were informed they couldn’t get the set we ordered. We were given 2 options 1we could return the merchandise and loose all the money we paid on it the past 6 months or purchase something else and get credit. We chose to get a washer and dryer in place of the furniture. End result we never got the credit towards the purchase of washer and dryer,and we’re over charged in the process. Absolutely the worst customer service I have ever Experienced! Katlyn the manager has no business dealing with customers extremely unprofessional!!! Will NEVER shop there again!!!!

    I have been a rent a center customer for over 10 years. During that time I have purchased every item I have rented which has been several. 8 Years of the 10 was in Rolla Missouri. I can't say enoughi good things about that store. But since we moved here I haven't had the same experience with this store. They call before my payment is even due. I have been trying to get them to order my mattress set and washer and dryer that they only.had used sets so for a year I have been waiting for my new sets. Can't say how disappointed I am with this store. Very unprofessional and unorganized. Once our things are paid off we will go elsewhere

    If there was a way of giving no stars, this store particular store wouldn't get any! They have great deals, but the people are so rude and their calls are annoying. I've been a customer for many years, but as their staff changed so did their attitudes. This was the end of the road for me with Rent-a-Center, farewell. My new found friends is Aaron's, they have better deals and more variety.

    Every time I turn around they’re calling me saying my payment didn’t go through. It’s happened maybe six times in the last two years the call you and get an attitude with you like you’re not paying your bills or you don’t have the money to pay it when I’ve never missed a payment. The people at my location are very disrespectful and very rude like you didn’t pay them their money or something

    I have been a customer of Rent A Center since 2014 and they have always done whatever it takes to make this customer very happy. I did have an issue, but that was solved in very little time. They are very polite, courteous and understanding. Now that I have paid off all of my Bill's on my TV, washer and dryer, I am now going to purchase a sectional. If there is a problem they fix it. I have to say if you want to deal with a business that treats you like family. This is the place to go. They are a whole family there and they are gold to me. Keep up the good work everyone. If you have a problem speak with Caitlyn the manager she'll make things better to the best of her ability. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

    Don't have a positive thing to say but when you are told someone would call back and don't, I gave benefit of doubt they are busy but now its a lie they don't care it is about who can afford things to them and who can't.

    Employees are rude and lack common sense. Ms. Caitlin (the manager) didn't even know how to reverse a rental agreement that she insisted on reversing because I (not the renter) was apparently rude to her over the phone. No stars here. Terrible customer service. Will be contacting corporate to let them know.

    I wouldn’t even give them 1 star but that’s the only option. I dont recommend this rent a center at all. My wife and I returned EVERYTHING back, and the store manager Kaitlin had the audacity to call my park manager and tell them that since we can’t pay them that we wouldn’t be making our lot rent payment nor house payment. I have it on recording speaking with my park manager and she just emailed over the recording that Kaitlin called and left the message. Also Kaitlin has taken it upon herself to make Facebook posts about it as well!

    They were great when we 1st started renting. Had an issue come up and ask to pay a week late. They became totally rude told us they see what kind of customer we'll be because I need to make this 1 payment late. They don't work with ppl even if u make payments early or on time. Pretty shady company even the manager is really rude to. Aaron it is never had issue with Aaron's. Least they're. Willing to keep their customers happy.

    Love Kate and her crew. They treat me like family. Every time I want something- they make sure I get it or they order it for me. Some wait times have been pretty long but it’s always worth it and she keeps me up to date on what’s happening. Would give 10 stars if I could.

    We have been customers for them for over two years. We had two computers from them used and not our choice to be used and one went out and the second one stopped charging. We looked past that and we decided to get a toolset and a motorbike from them and they gave us a used one without asking us which one we rather have. That motorbike was having problems with the chain, it kept popping off and we informed them then the chain broke so we was giving another used bike. My son informed me that the bike was slower that the old one which was the same make and model he accidentally rode over glass he didn't see and popped the back tire. we had insurance on it and informed them and two gentlemen came to the house and tried to fix it. They realized the axle was bent which wasn't noticed by us but does explain now why he was having problems with the speed of the second bike and the screws were also stripped. We were supposed to get a new bike originally and wasn't given one and the used bikes were already messed up and they blamed us. I can tell you for us to be loyal customers that pay every month -the service is terrible only one employee is really amazing, hard working, honest and friendly. The other two I dealt with are a bit friendly but not as honest as the one described before. The store manager is rude and not helpful and we have decided we will not be dealing with the Alton store again. Rent One gives new merchandise with better service and deals. So we will for now on be using them for our needs. For the future it's best to give the customers a choice of new and used If they are paying out of pocket every month and if you decide to give out your old merchandise make sure it is in exceptional condition so that the customer is not losing money by not being able to utilize the merchandise due to issues that were already there.

    I've been waiting for a living room set to be ordered since march to no avail I've been told for a month it was ordered....been a loyal customer over 10 years...WAS a loyal customer I wont be using RAC anymore

    I went into the facility to get a living room set for the first time and asked if they deliver prior to the business completion. They said yes and gave me a 4 hour time period for delivery that day, but when they delivered I was informed that they wouldn't assist me with taking the old furniture out to the corner. When I called the store I received total disrespect and blame from the representative I spoke with! And then I asked for the corporation or district number, and was told you can get on our email before being hung up on!!! If this is how they show good intentions and business, I will never do business with them again! I hope many people agree of their wrong doings because there's too many others to choose from!

    I called last week for them to come get my stuff last week and they played like to day was the first they hard of it i can not afford it anymore so they told me Wednesday and was very rude about it they really need to come get the stuff so i can get my house back in order

    I called the store and spoke to Kaitlyn (sp?). She was extremely professional and helpful. She went out of her way to find a portable washer for me by contacting several other stores in the area.

    That store knows how to take care of its customers. I just happened to read through some of these reviews and I cannot believe people would stoop so low as to make up negativity. I have been dealing with this store for YEARS and have never been disappointed. I have missed a payment and I got the phone calls that were due to me for not holding up my end of the bargain. These people really take their job seriously and I can tell. Kate is friendly but she also knows when she has to get serious with someone. That makes her a darn good GM if you ask me. I would never do business anywhere else.

    This is a nice store. The associates helping us were very nice. Sadly they didn’t quite have what we were looking for, however, they tried their best. I’ll definitely reach out to them again if I need something.

    I love that if they don’t have what I’m looking for that they can go get it themselves. Great options for things that are just outside of my budget. Manager there told me they can get anything from sports equipment to kitchen appliances. Great idea!

    If you're always on time with your payments they will work with you, but when you call in for an issue they seem to forget, unless you call back and say you have been forgotten about then they take care of.
