Gorgeous and very spacious. We came during a variety of events and there was still tons of parking, not crowded at all, and very clean. Sad the tea room wasn't open during our trip but the museum exhibits and botanicals were perfection. It's our go to place for a rewind. My cousin calls it Disneyland without the rides haha.

OooooLaLa...this place is a fancy kind of relaxing! We started off with a champagne picnic lunch before we went in...good call! There are so many varieties of beautiful gardens from around the world. There was an excellent exhibition inside the buildings, but we spent most of our time outside...wandering aimlessly and losing track of time. It was a sensory garden (quite literally!) with rivers, bridges, waterfalls, intricate architecture, and the scent of all the lush greenery. I've always loved these gardens and now that I'm older, I really appreciate the peace and relaxation I find in this enchanting spot. There is plenty of shaded parking when you enter the grounds. This museum is more expensive than some of the more popular ones, but it is well worth checking out for a simple solo lunch, a first date, or falling in love all over again.

My wife and I love gardening. So for us this was basically a dream come true. Definitely the best Botanical Garden I've ever been to. Especially when it comes to the Desert and Japanese and Chinese biomes. If this is the kind of thing you think you'd like... trust me you'll love it. Worth the trip. Dig the pics

Review for February 21st 2022. This was a beautiful Monday morning on President's Day. What a wonderful experience and what a privilege to be able to visit this beautiful Roman-style Garden. Located in San Marino California near Pasadena California. It is truly in Treasure within the Los Angeles County. Lots of walking in some hiking to do here. Also great coffee shops. This place is absolutely amazing and I will definitely recommend any outdoor enthusiasts to come and check out this wonderfully– Beautiful preserved garden. Great spot for meditation. Great spot for relaxing and chilling. Overall I give this place a 8:10 Stars. I am truly amazed of all the beauty that California has to offer and this place is no exception. I'm not guilty, to say that I absolutely love Roman history and Roman architecture

The Huntington is a SoCal must-see; you seriously won’t regret it! Visited on a weekday when it wasn’t super crowded. Great gardens to see and walk through, excellent eateries scattered throughout the property, and colossal collections in the buildings. Go now!

Excellent afternoon tea experience with wide variety of tea choices, and sumptuous savory and sweet items on the team menu. Excellent setting outdoor near rose garden or fountain, or two rooms inside. Our sever was courteous, knowledgeable, and prompt. Tips: We went with members. For non-members, first Thursday of month is public free day. Reservation is highly recommended.

This is worth the $29/person! The grounds are massive and loads to explore and get your steps in for the day. Plenty of various gardens and indoor museums to explore. What impressed me the most were the Japanese and Chinese Gardens. Just check out the photos to see how detailed and exquisite they are. There is a Boba shop located in the Chinese Garden which is about $6.50 with tax per drink. Might be worth it for the experience. My partner and I enjoyed it loads and will definitely be back!

There is a variety of things for everyone. A garden to stroll through and a small museum with paintings and sculptures. The famous Blue Boy painting is here along with an also bit less famous painting called Pinkie. Kids may get bored. The garden has a nice cactus and succulent area, and the Japanese and Chinese sections are really cool. We spent about five hours here, including lunch. Food was not too good, cafe style, and expensive. Make a day trip and enjoy Pasadena afterwards.

This museum has beautiful exhibits in a beautifully wide space. It had a LOT of different rooms but not quite to the point where it's overwhelming. The wait outside can look intimidating but if you're not in the heat, it's honestly not a bad wait and goes by quicker than you think.

Was a good place until they doubled the entrance fee in recent years. How can someone donate a mansion and gardens for the public and then someone turns it into a cash crop? Thanks for taking this place away from the public and sequestering for the rich in the area.

Beautiful! Different kinds of plants, trees, flowers, and grass. I could use a good cart though, haha. Or at least a few more benches. I love the Chinese and Japanese gardens though the rose garden was my favorite. Keep in mind they still bloom in-season so there might not be roses in the rose gardens when you go!

Beautiful and well-kept gardens!! Nice place to relax and unwind. It was a bit disappointing that several of the buildings were closed and we weren't able to see the Guttenberg Bible.

Beautiful gardens. The children’s garden is amazing for kids. The food in the Chinese gardens is delicious. Get there early as you could easily spend a whole day there if you wanted to see everything.
