I
went
in
wanting
a
fish
and
saw
a
gorgeous
beta
fish.
After
picking
up
a
few
supplies,
including
a
beta
tank,
filtration,
and
decor,
I
was
ready
to
tackle
finding
the
right
food.
The
associate
came
up,
didn’t
give
me
any
advice
on
food,
but
very
quickly
degraded
me,
telling
me
that
the
tank
I
had
chosen,
which
specifically
said
“beta
tank”
was
not
big
enough,
that
I
would
need
to
run
the
water
a
week
before
buying,
that
I
wasn’t
able
to
buy
the
fish
today
as
a
result
of
not
having
prepared
water,
and
then
judgmentally
went
to
tell
a
fellow
employee
at
the
register
how
ill
prepared
I
was.
She
didn’t
help
me
with
food
choice
but
just
walked
away.
Her
attitude
was
very
disrespectful.
Not
helpful
at
all,
just
extremely
condescending.
If
the
tank
I
chose,
which
they
sell
specifically
for
beta
fish,
isn’t
good
for
them
then
why
do
they
sell
it?
Don’t
rip
me
to
shreds
because
I
assume
the
tank
you’re
selling
that
specifically
says
“beta
tank”
on
it
is
adequate
for
the
fish
it
is
sold
for.
I
left,
defeated,
deciding
that
a
beta
was
a
bad
idea
after
all.
I
was
ready
to
drop
$80+
on
that
beta,
but
her
attitude
and
demeanor
made
sure
I
left
this
store
empty
handed.
I
will
not
shop
here
ever
again.
I’m
all
for
being
educated,
which
was
what
I
needed
and
requested,
but
this
was
humiliating
and
unnecessary.
Help
and
condescension
don’t
mix
in
retail,
and
she
lost
a
sale.
I
would
have
gladly
taken
notes
and
followed
through
on
her
tips
and
suggestions
if
it
had
been
presented
as
helpful
instead
of
in
such
an
insulting
way.
