We stumbled upon this museum by mistake, admission was free, which is why we went in. We were not familiar with who the artist was as we do not particularly follow Neo-Expressionism. Jorge Rando happens to be one of the most recognized artists of this movement to our shock, he is also native to Malaga. The art is housed in a beautiful home with a courtyard that’s equally as beautiful. The art is not for everyone but if you have time, and want to learn about another form of art you may not be familiar with then definitely check it out. We were happy to have stopped by, and will now know who Jorge Rando and his work.

This museum is a real gift for all visitors! Free entry, an interesting and clever architecture - and of course the impressive and meaningful artwork. Thank you very much!

Had walked passed it before without noticing it was an art museum. Very different art. Quiet. Peaceful despite some if the content. Loved the soldiers face painted in so many different ways. Even had my favourite subject matter there. Trees. Favourite was the tree section.

Jorge is retired now so there is nothing more recent than 2010 but his style and skill is timeless. He's spent a lifetime painting portraits of his family and is rightly famous in Spain. A lovely building and masses to see, this museo ought to be visited on a trip to Málaga.

Very beautiful museum with great architecture. Entrance was free. In addition to Jorge Rando's already perpexingly beautiful works, the curation of the exhibitions was astonishing, from the placements of the artworks to the material of frames. Very pleased with the visit.

A compact art gallery with free entry. I'd not heard of Jorge Rando prior to visiting, but there were some interesting pieces of art, and an audio guide is available using QR codes placed around the gallery. Overall, it was a nice place to visit for an hour or two.

Very interesting. The building is airy and the paintings are well displayed but I know nothing about expressionism so found them a bit lugubrious.

Hadn't heard of Rando prior to my impromptu visit to the museum. What a fascinating artist and wonderful gallery! We spent around an hour here admiring the works, which are displayed in a modern, airy, contemporary space. The Requiem for Ukraine was particularly atmospheric. The staff are friendly and clearly proud of the gallery and it's works. Rightly so. I would recommend a visit to all art lovers and the curious.

For me the best Museum in Malaga. I love the style of painting. That is really an inspiration for me und my painting. The paintings with soldiers are more than actually. And on the other side you have the paintings with Butterflys which means Hope. Thank you Jorge Rando

The artworks and everything are great, but what convinced me the most was the welcoming and calm atmosphere. There is an inner courtyard to just sit and relax, read books or reflect life, if you're into that. Loved it there :)
