VERY
POOR
imitation
of
Casa
Lola!
I’ve
lived
near
Plaza
Uncibay
for
nearly
4
years
and
have
eaten
at
all
the
restaurants.
This
one
just
opened
with
a
shockingly
similar
look
and
feel
to
Casa
Lola.
However,
its
a
sad
copy.
Service
wasn’t
bad
but
the
food
is
an
absolute
“timo”
(Spanish
for
swindle).
Everything
we
ate
tasted
like
it
was
straight
from
a
bottle
or
the
freezer.
The
croquetas
weren’t
bad
but
definitely
not
made
by
them.
The
tortilla
de
patatas
was
without
a
doubt
not
freshly
made
and
the
rabo
de
toro
had
barely
any
meat
and
the
sauce
was
way
too
sweet.
The
hot
dog
could
have
been
good
because
the
bread
and
flavor
weren’t
bad
but
they
put
barely
any
meat
as
well.
A
few
tiny
circles
of
sausage
and
thats
it.
The
porra
(salmorejo)
was
the
worst
I’ve
had
-
definitely
straight
out
of
a
bottle.
Looks
good
at
first
but
taste
is
way
off.
Ensaladilla
Rusa
-
again,
not
freshly
prepared.
No
flavor
and
poor
texture.
Overall,
wouldn’t
go
back.
Not
going
to
pay
restaurant
prices
for
food
I
can
buy
at
Mercadona.
Not
a
bad
spot
to
have
a
drink
but
go
have
food
somewhere
else
(Casa
Lola
is
next
door).
Edit:
the
owners
have
since
responded
making
no
attempt
to
stand
by
the
quality
of
their
food.
They’re
claiming
that
my
review
sounds
like
an
ad.
I
can
assure
any
readers
that
I
have
no
connection
to
Casa
Lola
and
am
simply
a
Malaga
resident
giving
my
opinion.
However,
that
said,
the
owners
of
La
Tasquita
must
share
my
positive
sentiments
about
Casa
Lola
to
have
opened
a
copy
cat
right
next
door
😆
