One of the best spot around the taal lake for great scenery. The people who like greenery and water will like this place. A lot of bikers and road trippers comes here to breathe fresh air, relax, take an early walk and catch sunrise. The people of San Nicolas are friendly and accommodating. From here you can visit also the ruins of old taal church. There is a big parking space as well for visitors.

It's a nice view deck by Taal Lake. It is a nice stop for cyclists in the area. It is more photogenic if you're wearing Ciclo Cycling Apparel jerseys! The wind is kinda strong sometimes and we hope the town adds more amenities to this park and plaza to make it more attractive.

Feb 03 '22 Thursday Visited today by way of Tawilisan, Taal, Batangas. Treat yourself to a pleasant surprise after a drive down Tawilisan. The San Nicolas baywalk is but a portion of an even more ambitious project ~ to connect the entire rim of the Taal Lake! And yes, the volcano is front and center! I was told that, upon completion, the road project aims connect all towns along this world-famous lake. With that what awaits you will be an unhampered 360-degree view of Taal Volcano when this is through! Can't wait!!!

It is at edge of San Nicolas town. It offers a great viewing point for taal volcano located inside the taal lake. Neatly maintained, it is a great place for walking and biking. Boat service to visit taal volcano is also available from here.

This is a cute place to bring your guests for a short walk along the lake. Beautiful and clean. Although, it doesnโ€™t have many rolling stores yet. Parking is good and the corniche is well-maintained.

San Nicolas Maliputo Landmark, San Nicolas is home of Maliputo fish. Did you know that the โ€œmaliputoโ€ carries the scientific name caranx ignobilis and is known commonly in English as the giant trevally? This fish can thrive in both marine (saltwater) and freshwater environments. Maliputo is a delectable fish with a firm flesh and a very rare delicacy in Batangas. The fish can be served as simple as charcoal broiled with a dash of kalamansi (a small citrus fruit) and bagoong balayan (anchovies).

The place is quiet and peaceful as most people were playing basketball at the nearby gym. More stores are being built to cater to tourists. The place is being remade into something more scenic, I hope they don't overdo it though.
