Excellent service and food.

Samantha is the best waiter.. She is extremely friendly and welcoming.. We had a great time and I would not hesitate to come again.. Overall a five star experience.

I bought 2 burgers with chips for take away. When I was about to ear the chips and wanted to put on salt and sauce, there wasn't any packed. There were no serviettes as well. This is so disappointing

With my first visit at this Wimpy they took forever with the order and bill. They had a few people, but not so busy. They had no decaffeinated options with freezos. With my second visit they had no avo so I could not order my favorite light meal / healthier option. I left without ordering a meal. The wimpy is clean an well maintained.

My girlfriend and I stopped there for lunch and got two chicken wraps. The wraps were very oily and my girlfriends wrap had pieces of burger patty in and the chicken looked terrible. Neither of us finished our wraps and we landed up throwing them away. It was overall just a very bad experience and I will never stop there again to get food.

Very friendly staff! Best food at any Wimpy! We have a tradition of buying a Wimpy toasted sandwich whenever we are on a road trip and this was by far the best!

Wimpy food is the same all over. Thx for being consistent as you know what to expect. We dined in and a bit of maintenance will do wonders. I.e. flickering lights.

Aliwal North Wimpy has an arrogant group of waiters, I had a bad experience not just once but a few times because of these waiters. I odered food but cancelled it before the order went through because I was forced to order food that I did not want, I did not want to fight with the waiter and let him write down the order he wanted me to take, a minute later I then cancelled the order by the waiter and left. The entire staff of Wimpy Aliwal North sent out the message that my husband and I ate the food and left without paying. Giving out the message that my husband and I are thieves. I was then forced to pay for food I did not eat and they gave me the wrong order as well with old food. By law I was not supposed to pay for the food if I did not eatt it and if it didnt even come to the table. Yet, Wimpy forced me to pay for food I did not want and spread a dirty rumour. I will take this to my lawyers because my husband works for a huge company and my husband and I are now seen as thieves.

The store was supposed to open at 7am, and remained closed until I went in at 7:15 to find out what was going on.. out waitron offered good service, and the kids play area had a good selection of activities for the kiddies.. unfortunately the food wasn't so great... our scrambled eggs came out slightly grey (which I'm sure was due to an extremely hot flat top) and the soft fried egg was half cooked and still raw closer to the yolk., bit of a downer for a franchise outlet.. but other than that, it was an ok experience.

My kids looooooved the play area inside and outside. The food and service was great. My waitress even rushed to me to bring me my son's shoes when we forgot them. I'd definitely come back.

There's a lady by the name of Lizzette who's always smiling and serving with such a passion. Her hospitality is amazing. She also gets along with my daughter who's is a regular customer of kid's waffle.

Was an bad experience. To describe the overall experience I would say the food was okay, the service was terrible in terms of the kitchen. The waiters were doing their best. Food : - Standard. I had a classic eggs and toast breakfast.(streaky breakfast) - The food was okay. Atmosphere : - Nice atmosphere however multiple people getting upset about waiting time. Management / Waiter : (owner on site) - Owner on site, trying to manage the kitchen. - Waiter was so busy, not their fault. Ordered the moment they came through (Hense a star less) *They did try and fix the issues*

Have been going there for so many years and services always very good. And the waiters got out of the way to make you happy. They even went over the road to a petrol station to try and find me a blue Powerade

There were about 15 of us in total coming to enjoy breakfast before driving back to Joburg. Long story short, one of our guy's sandwich was literally green with mould. There's no way you couldn't have seen that before toasting the bread... The worst part is that when we complained to the manager, he defended his staff and said there was nothing he could do to make things right. He didn't offer any compensation nor a way forward. He technically gave us the middle finger. I'd advise people to NOT set foot here.

Waitress that served the table is friendly, however only checked on us once during the nearly two hours we stayed, the wifi was also not operational during the time…the females bathroom was unsatisfactory as it had a bad smell and was not sanitary and we didn’t receive parting sweets which is customary for Wimpy, overall experience was poor

Such a disappointing experience!!. Very rude, unfriendly waitress. I ordered a scrambled egg with my cheese grilled breakfast. She said that 1 egg can't be scrambled, REALLY? Thanks Wimpy Kresta and Northgate for serving what I asked for.

Wimpy burger patties are my absolute favorite. The staff was very helpful and polite with an efficient service.

We went to Wimpy for late breakfast. My husband and I I had burgers. The resty was clean. The staff were super friendly espy to our 1 year old baby. We have a beautiful time.

Great service ...very clean under lockdown regulations....and the waiters aim to please they even made me a coffee bar one milkshake even though its not on the menu .....i just couldn't decide ....so I got both ; )

Great waitresses, they master customer service. Had more than 3 of them come to our table to check if we have been assisted. One waitress offered to take my restless toddler while I eat,though I declined, I found this to be very thoughtful and kind. They never get their wors wrong.

The place is superb. On arrival, workers don't waste time to welcome you by giving you a menu book to place an order. An order takes few minutes to come.

Good and clean Wimpy with fast service, great food on the menu, friendly and helpful waiters and squeaky clean bathrooms. I always enjoy stopping here to stretch my legs and get a coffee or a bite to eat when I pass through Aliwal. You always feel welcome when entering here. The Parking is also very safe and secure so you don't have to worry about someone that wants to snatch something out of your car when inside. Keep up the good work! Will definitely come again!
