If they continue like what they are today, soon they are set to become history. A pathetic place in terms of hospitality and service quality. Waiter was very rude. Many other guests were also shouting at them. Nobody attended us for more than 10 minutes, not even offered a place to sit. Table cloth was dirty. It took us a lot of effort to place the order. After waiting for another 15 minutes when we were expecting the order to be served, the waiter comes and says we don't have what you have ordered. My mother asked him a glass of water. Glass was dirty. She asked the waiter to replace it to which he denied. So, for us it was the last visit on 23rd July 2021.

After reading reviews of many people I visited this place at around 9:30Pm. It was difficult to loacte the place for a new person loacted in Civil lines Allahabad. The restaurant theme was good and it looks like a very old restaurant in the city. The main course i ordered was very average and the naan was also not properly cooked. When I asked the person to replace it, after 2 minutes he brought the same naan as it is. The staff of the place was very inactive, no one was interested in taking order and it took almost 45 minutes to cook the food. Our bill was 387 so I paid 500 to the waiter, so he returned me only 100 rs and kept the change without even asking which was very annoying. I won't suggest people to visit this place as there are many other good places in Civil lines.

Love this place since my childhood days , best place for birthday celebration those days, lovely restaurant & Awesome menu, One of the oldest restaurant in allahabad. They serve best food veg as well as non veg,

The man who was serving us the food was very kind and polite he told us the best food possible and believe me it was very good . I would recommend going to this place .

Worst service I have ever experienced. 55 min waiting after order of simple one pizza. Still pizza could not prepared by hotel. They unable to prepare of simple pizza when only 4 person are sitting in whole hotel. Waiter or staff are not careing if customer are left the table without food. Bathroom are very suffocating and sitting are full of dust and moisture. Waiters clean the spoons by dirty commonl cloth. Avoide to eat food of such a dirty n unhygienic environment

I order egg curry Which was a bit expensive, than expected and taste was also average. I think waiters themselves arrange that meal, beacuse i got a hand written bill And cost me over 600.

You know me , always craving for hunger As usual I thought I wanna try something different , something unique And I was hungry a bit so , I went into the restaurant with an empty stomach but came out with happy stomach Wanna know how ? Cause I ate chicken chowmein over there. It was so good. Well, you can go over there and have a happy stomach like mine I just want good for u buddy 🙂 I will visit it again ☺️ cause I love a happy stomach 😅

I have visited here a lot of time with my friends. I'm impressed with the service and tasty food in affordable price. We ordered Fried Rice with Paneer Chilli, Spring roll, Cold Coffee and Ice Cream. All were good in taste. They served dessert or icecream in the end. On showing the student id card 20% percent of discount is provided.

I would have surely given it a 1 star if I had not ordered masala dosa. The place is low in hygiene. The waiters were cleaning glass using a towel which did not look clean. The table seats were not proper and the waiter casually pointed us to a table which was not clean.So reluctantly I ordered hot and sour chicken soup. I have had this soup many times and this was surely one of the worst one. Luckily we ordered dosa which was nice. They had a scheme where they have one free for every dosa order. Not sure how long the scheme would last but this was probably another good part. So overall, if you are super hungry and there is no place nearby then only visit this restaurant. In that case my recommendation would be to limit order to dosa.

We ordered, they said "Let me confirm if it's available.". We waited for like 25 MINUTES, they finally said yes it's available THEN we had to order again 😑😒. After 30 MINUTES of wait we walked out of the restraunt. • Rude waiters • Bad service • Can't tell about the food as it wasn't served on time 😡!!!

Pathetic food and service. Manager is very rude and arrogant. I ordered chicken fried rice and could have only 1 spoon of it, such was the taste and quality. It's better to eat at roadside stall than burning your money here.

The food at Tandoor Restaurant is undoubtedly delicious and lives up to its long-standing reputation. From the tender and flavorful tandoori chicken to the rich and aromatic curries, the culinary experience was delightful, leaving our taste buds satisfied. The service, too, was commendable. The staff was attentive and accommodating, providing timely assistance without being overly intrusive. They were well-versed with the menu, and their recommendations were spot-on. Some of them are there since I've seen them back in 90s. However, the interior of the restaurant seemed to be stuck in time. The furniture appeared worn-out and lacked the comfort one would expect from an upclass restaurant. The decor felt dated, and the lighting was dim, which affected the overall ambiance negatively. A much-needed renovation is essential to restore the restaurant's elegant atmosphere and maintain its status as a top-notch dining destination. Despite the interior's condition, the quality of food and service has not deteriorated, which is a testament to the restaurant's commitment to maintaining its culinary standards. However, I believe that investing in a renovation would elevate the dining experience to new heights and attract a broader clientele.

Worst Experience...won't be going there anymore...the quantity of food according to price is high...no service not paying attention to the customer...main thing is the food which is not tasty at all, 25 for 1 chapati quiet expensive...first and last time!

Never ever Visit!!! I had the tasteless food ever. There were very few people dining there at the peak lunch time. So I had a doubt whether it is a good plan to have a lunch!! And here is my experience. Restaurant is very old so the interiors and furnitures are. Not very clean but ok. Food was worst and overpriced Service was very poor and late. When I get the bill the waiter did not add Rs.75 for the Rotis I had. When I asked he ignored and asked me to pay and I swiped my card. Then ge told me that he forgot to add rotis in my bill and I told him to add it now and I will swipe my card again. Then he refused that and asked me to pay it to his PhonePay QR. While paying he forced me to add Rs.25 more as a tip for him pay him total Rs. 100. I understood this is a scam he did with the restaurant and took Rs.100 to his pocket.

Worst taste. Never imagined this type of taste.I will never recommended this to anyone. A single piece of onion is also not given if asked.Not suitable to give a single star rating.

Visited here with my lovingly brother it's located in civil lines Prayagraj(ALD) Both Veg and Non veg meals available.. we ordered Butter chicken taste was average the service was to slow here, But the chair was unique, After meals they served dessert which was free. Not totally satisfied so, I would recommend choose another option.

Earlier Tandoor was one of the best restaurant in town but now the quality is degrading day by day. The service is quite slow. Food is no more tastier. Order kathi roll which was quite cold. Owner of Tandoor should go for a renovation and bring some change in the interior and other things. They have increased the price but the taste and the quality of food is poor.

Th e food is hopeless, tasteless, half- cooked, bland taste, rotten worst minus value for money. Service is so poor that they dont have enough staff to serve, takes 35 minutes to serve a glass of water, food served delayed beyond reasonable time. Going to dine at this place is a curse, waste of time and money.

Worst restaurant, Not recommended at all!!! Veg Starters were not good. No variety, service is too slow, staff will concentrate on getting tip. Zero star for ambience, water quality is below average( bitter). Main course paneer was made in chicken gravy, breads are also not good.

When we asked him to change, he again brought the same. Cost was very high according to the taste there. Nd we ordered burger.Topping will have to be done by yourself. I didn't like it.
