I
recently
visited
Tandoor
Restaurant,
and
despite
its
old-world
charm
and
reputation
for
great
food
and
service,
I
couldn't
help
but
notice
that
the
interior
is
in
a
dilapidated
condition.
While
the
dining
experience
was
satisfactory,
it
is
evident
that
the
restaurant
is
in
need
of
some
much-needed
renovation.
Let's
start
with
the
positives.
The
food
at
Tandoor
Restaurant
is
undoubtedly
delicious
and
lives
up
to
its
long-standing
reputation.
The
flavors
of
the
dishes
were
authentic,
and
the
variety
on
the
menu
catered
to
a
range
of
tastes.
From
the
tender
and
flavorful
tandoori
chicken
to
the
rich
and
aromatic
curries,
the
culinary
experience
was
delightful,
leaving
our
taste
buds
satisfied.
The
service,
too,
was
commendable.
The
staff
was
attentive
and
accommodating,
providing
timely
assistance
without
being
overly
intrusive.
They
were
well-versed
with
the
menu,
and
their
recommendations
were
spot-on.
Some
of
them
are
there
since
I've
seen
them
back
in
90s.
However,
the
interior
of
the
restaurant
seemed
to
be
stuck
in
time.
The
furniture
appeared
worn-out
and
lacked
the
comfort
one
would
expect
from
an
upclass
restaurant.
The
decor
felt
dated,
and
the
lighting
was
dim,
which
affected
the
overall
ambiance
negatively.
A
much-needed
renovation
is
essential
to
restore
the
restaurant's
elegant
atmosphere
and
maintain
its
status
as
a
top-notch
dining
destination.
Despite
the
interior's
condition,
the
quality
of
food
and
service
has
not
deteriorated,
which
is
a
testament
to
the
restaurant's
commitment
to
maintaining
its
culinary
standards.
However,
I
believe
that
investing
in
a
renovation
would
elevate
the
dining
experience
to
new
heights
and
attract
a
broader
clientele.
