All is good! What I have found is that, area where I was waiting it was receptionist area and it was not comfortable! Although! I found it best.

Stayed at this hotel recently. The property needs a serious and immediate refurbishment. Though designed properly to suit upscale clients, looks old and unattractive. Needs to broaden the breakfast menu with a variety as the current spread is extremely limited. I don't think it's value for money at a place like Prayag Raj. Hope the promoters will take all necessary steps to improve overall customer experience. All the very best 👍

The Grand Continental, Prayagraj is located right at the city center. The positive points about the hotel is that The room was spacious has all the amenities, bed was clean and comfortable. Food was reasonably good, staff are nice and helpful. The negative points were: The floor of the hotel room was really dirty, similarly the table tops and all such surfaces were dirty. There was one bath towel and one hand towel for 2 persons and it was not clean. We got one litre water for 2 persons. We need to keep on asking for the basic amenities which should otherwise be provided. Overall the stay was good. I would have loved to give this hotel a 5 star, but the lack of cleanliness made me give a 3 star.

One of the finest and old hotel of Prayagraj, situated in heart of city. Well cleaned and organized. Visited there few days back. I like the services of hotel. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Staffs were also very professional. If you are visiting there it will be good experience. Go and enjoy the ambience. Food and beverages were also good and tasteful. A value for money deal to be there. Parking facility present and you can park your vehicle peacefully and without any second thought. 👍

Ordered Mutton, which they term as Bhuna Ghosht, I specifically asked them to prepare it spicy, but they added ketchup in their recipe, asked them to change it, they took it out from our plates and came back with the same thing. Didnt had it at all and packed it to give to someone in need for food outside. Then they charge a GST of 18% stating that the room tariff is more than 7500, although you can easily get a room at that hotel under 4500. Anyway, not recommending for taste and service.

I stayed here for a couple of days for a wedding; The rooms are big and luxurious. Nice ambience and looks grand with all the setup. Staff is courteous with prompt service. They have a good restaurant, we had complimentary breakfast and the options where enough. One of our functions was pool-side, which is really nice, with a proper DJ setup; The parking is small, but that is taken care by the valet service. Overall I liked the hotel, Me and my family enjoyed our stay.

At the outset, service personnels of the Hotel are extremely welcoming and nice. They make you feel invited; even the person at the reception. Now what actually remains the set back is the locality where this Hotel is stationed inter alia the parking issue. The rooms are clean and they are ofc equipped with every amenity one can desire for. They offer valet at the entrance who serve you nicely. They are perfectly alright at hospitality. There's a bar and restaurant in there and you would have to move a Lil bit to retire to your suite, be it as it may. I found this the best place for stay in Allahabad. Mine was a short stay of 13 hours, I was unable to snap much photographs of the place and all I can share is some photographs of the restaurant in here.

Worst place to stay in allhabad.. rude staff, room service staff will stole your expensive items. Lost my mobile from room and staff and manager were shouting for me for no reason.

Food quality was good during marriage functions but service is very bad despite multiple requests they’re were not serving the coffee and tea even when I was continuous telling that I will pay everything for that .happened two times during night.They were completely listening the things for hosts ..Not recommended to in case of you are looking for good service

It's in the Heart of the city..Civil Lines. Ample parking space and wallet parking are also there. Food and Rooms are good. Staff is very polite and supportive. Good services.

I stayed here in the last of November 2020 for about a week, everything was fine but only thing lacking was they donot have parcel service while checking out the hotel. I left the hotel around 11.00 pm before that I request the desk service to parcel some food which can be taken while travelling in train but they politely denied. Again I and my wife are supposed to be stay in this property in the month of July 2022 and hope this time they will help me.

It is really grand. The grandure was exquisite. Food was marvellous. I cannot comment on the price as I have attended a conference...but nevertheless the facilities were state of the art.

In-city location. But ask for renovated rooms. They are huge, clean and have new fixtures. The unrenovated ones are in shambles. They may ask you if executive rooms are ok as according to them they are better and high priced than deluxe rooms but I found the size small and quite cluttered. Breakfast is limited but a delightful affair. Good service in the dining room. There are plenty options in the vicinity for dinner. The hotel restaurant has limited options.

I had booked online being impressed by photographs on site but had very horrible experience due to operative staff’s most uncourteous approach and attitude towards online booking customers . The front desk officials were rude and most unprofessional. I seriously repent having booked . It was quite disgusting and bitter experience of my carrier of over 54 years. Sorry!

I left my ear pod at Hotel and hotel people are denying straight way. How is this possible. Above is two days back review.. Today I got a call from Mr. Ashif, They found it. Good pool, service and amazing food. We checked in around 1045am. Although breakfast was over and lunch was being prepared, we were given idli and sandwiches to eat comfortably.

Pros: 1) Location: location is very good, on the main road, convenient to locate, easy to find e-rickshaw /auto jst at the gate. In front of PVR and many other good outlets. 2) Parking: adequate parking space available. 3) Swimming Pool: a small swimming pool is there. I saw it getting cleaned in the morning. But as I didn’t get into it, can’t say how good it was for swimming purposes. For Photographry, it was good. Cons: 1) Old property: it’s a visible old property, which has not adequately upgraded with times. 2) cost unfriendly: pricey for the services available. Mineral water bottles requested cost me additional Rs 49 as room service charge!..I should have rather gone out and bought it myself! Overall, a decent old property if you catch a good deal.

Buffet food quality was the worst there is no test serving waiters were arrogant they don't want to listen anything they always answer talk to shirivatava sir our most of the guest didn't take their food. I am really disappointed. I suggest to the management to change their kitchen people and waiters even waiters force me to write a review against the new staff

Pathetic service!!! Once upon a time it was a good restaurant but now it's awful. The staff is very casual, the lights are so dim that you can't take pictures properly, many a time I got stale food. As it was my favourite spot so it took some time to decide that this place lost all standards.

Room was available Slippers. Bedsheets was not clean. No proper propose to demonstrate or guide till room.

I am a local resident of Allahabad.. I went to have dinner with my family recently.. The services extended by the restaurant staff is pathetic. They were not even bothered for anything. Rooms are good but the amenities are pathetic - no dental, shaving kit, no slippers etc.intercom not working. service is worst. Ordering food in room will take atleast 1 hour and that too without proper cutlery/ plate/ bowl, no tissues etc. Everything needs to be asked for and will take almost 20-30 minutes to cater

I went there for a wedding, it was good. I've been there before for a engagement ceremony, so it was my second time. it was great. But only suitable for at max of 250 people and that too could get a bit crowded, 150-200 people would be very ideal, atleast that's what I think.

This is one of the worst food service provider with five star rates. Plain curd around 200 gms which they made inhouse charged me 250 Rs. without any packaging; where you get branded product in 30Rs. Club veg sandwich they charged 500 Rs. where a cold plain bread and few tomato, cucumber and cheese slices are inserted. A street person who made sandwich worth Rs. 40 he put more products than these guys and that tastier than these chefs. Half of the people not aware about the systems.

I am a local and have not actually ever stayed on this property. But I visit it quite frequently for conferences and meetings. May be it is a post Covid issue but the food quality and services have taken a dip. Thrice in last two months I have complained about the quality of vegetarian food and the rude uncooperative behaviour of the staff. The hotel focuses only on attending the non vegetarian guests in conferences and on those who take alcohol (may because they bring in more money for them). If you are a non drinker and vegetarian (especially if you are a female) you will be treated with utmost neglect and your requests will be repeatedly ignored. The vegetarian starters, particularly paneer tikka and veg kebabs are absolutely pathetic, Moreover despite repeated requests they don't innovative or bring in anything new.The attending staff will hover around the people asking for alcoholic drinks as if the non drinkers are invisible to them. On one occasion I asked for peanut chat/salad as I had to leave early but the attending staff kept procastinating because the drinks round hadn't started. In the end I left without eating anything. Just last night it so happened that the attendant had served me a large amount of paneer tikka ,which usually tastes pathetic in this hotel. So I requested him to take SOME of it away and add SOME veg kebabs. This small request infuriated the gentleman so much that he stomped away with my plate and came back 10 minutes later with a plate heaped with around 15 pieces of kebab and no paneer tikka and banged the plate in front of me. This is beyond acceptable. I have made up my mind to never ever organise any meet or conference here and hope that others don't do too.

the marriage of my nephew (Dr. Vandana yadav & Dr. Ashok Yadav was conducted on 26-11-2021. we faced many issues listed below during the ceremony which were very disappointing and embarrassing. 1. for 120 guests, the quantity of the fruits at the counter was insufficient ( Approx 8 Kgs) served in DONA and not crockery. 2. the quality and quantity of TIKKI, GOLA GAPPA, DAHI BHALLA and Manchurian was very poor and less respectively,served in DONA and not crockery. 3.Valet parking was not available. 4. The quality of coffee was so bad that it did not seemed like coffee. 5. The hospitality by STAFF AND WAITER was bad. 6. Rs 35000/- were STOLEN from my bag and since CCTV was not available at the party lawn we could not catch the culprit. i believe there was an involvement of the staff else no body could dare to do that. i paid a hefty amount to Hotel but i regret since it was embarrassing to be a host of such poorly organised function. Hotel business is called hospitality business to comfort its guest, not embarrass and cheat them. wedding is once a lifetime memory which has been spoiled by your team

I will suggest that no one book this hotel because they don't have manner to talk with educated person. There is one lady staff who looks for cleaning n food department, she is totally ill mannered even she speaks like third class person.

I am your corporate customer and have been staying at your hotel continuously since 2017. I am depressed by the behaviour of the service manager at your hotel restaurant. The cartilaginous service manager talks to बतमीजी over breakfast. I am sad because of this. Now I will not stay in your hotel in future.

So here we came at wedding shoot for a family..we enjoyed wedding hotel infrastructure surrounding and many more good things.The rooms are really good ,house keeping is really great..food is not that much good ..Now about the staff and manager ,such a bad behaviour to the guests / customer the way they were talk is not the way to talk to our guests ,rude behaviour , such a bad manner they have .. infact they should take a proper class that how to treat our guest while they visited your hotel or stay..we are not the road sider..that u can treat like anyone's else..The manager is not having the way that how to treat anyone's it's not her home..that she can use that cheap words..so maintain a polite attitude while talking to anyone ...👍

Apperance are deceptive is well suited to this hotel From outside it's a normal looking hotel once enter the inside of it it's an aawe moment well maintained room

I booked this property for 2 nights first then I quite liked it so we extended it for 3 nights . Hotel is very clean and morning breakfast was very delicious . I will visit again .

The place is clean and with a very nice ambience. May lack some parking space. But the swimming pool and small gardens they could carve out in the less space makes up for it. Rooms are round abt 4-5k per night and totally worth it!!

It is located at the central of main market. Rest the ambience of room and n hotel is average. Toilets are also not that clean and maintained. For me it’s too pricey. I would only worth it to pay not more than 3k/night
