It's still good to go with kids even when it's not being managed properly by the management. Inspite of having a decent footfall and income it's mostly neglected. Birds are few with poor keep, many free rides are broken and it seems that there is no plan to change it. But what you get is a paid boat ride gor kids, few other rides for children including a train, a place to have local snacks and cold drink and walking place. Kids will love it no doubt. It's comparatively small.

Hathi park also known as sumitranandan pant park. It is situated in civil Line near company Bag. Entrance fees for children up to age of 12 is rupees 5. And for age above then 12 is rupees 10. Parking facility also available in hathi park. Inside hathi park canteen is also available. Good place for enjoying.

A fun place for children. I went after more than 15 years and the park has changed completely. They now have more and modern rides which are chargeable extra (apart from the entry ticket). Park is well maintained but u will find some adult people using d slides meant only for children.. Beware of the restaurant inside.. they charge high and give very low standard food.. specially if u are visiting in morning than u may get the pervious day food.. they will just give reheated food..

Even if we but an icecream of 15 rupees we have to pay 5 rupees extra , which is quite ridiculous . They are charging even for the swings which I couldn't understand why it was so.
