Situated in the Kalyani Devi locality, this temple holds immense significance as a revered Siddha Peeth. The Archaeological Survey of India has confirmed that an idol housed within this temple dates back at least 1,500 years. To witness the enchanting splendor of the goddess, plan your visit during Chaitra Navaratri (March-April) and Ashwin Navaratri (September-October), when she is adorned with exquisite shringar (ornamentation). The morning and evening aarti, attended by throngs of devotees, present a captivating spectacle that should not be missed.

Kalyani Devi Temple is considered as one of the sacred Shaktipeeth in Allahabad. The temple is considered sacred since Sati's fingers were believed to have fallen here. It is also believed that the idol housed within this temple is over thousand years old. The Chaitra Navratri and the Ashwin Navratri are the two important festivals that are celebrated in this temple in the month of March and October respectively. Jai Maa Kalyani Devi πŸ‘πŸ™Œ

Mata Kalyani Devi temple situated in Kalyani Devi locality in Prayagraj is one among the prominent Shaktipeeths here. It's believed as per scriptures attributed to glory of Goddess Durga that three fingers of Sati had fallen here. Besides this one, Mata Lalita Devi Temple in Meerapur and Mata Alopishankari in Daraganj are the other two Shaktipeeths. Goddess Kalyani Devi is here represented as Raj Rajeshwari Devi which is one of the forms of Goddess Shri Tripura Sundari. Rishi Yajnavalkya had performed Tapa here in Tretayuga. The statue of Goddess here is built of ashtadhatu whiich is more than 1500 years old. This temple has also Manokamna Kund, which never fails to fulfill wishes of devotees. The temple premises also have statues of other forms of Ishvara such as Shri Radha Krishna and Shri Hanuman ji. Baba Batuknath is also here as custodian of this temple in Bhav Bhairavnath temple situated one kilometre away from Kalyani Devi temple. It's believed that devotees should not miss darshana of Bhairav Baba after having darshana of Goddess. Jai Mata Kalyani. Jai Mata Raj Rajeshwari. Jai Mata Tripura Sundari. ** ( Reviewer is also International Blogger besides being Advocate, Allahabad High Court )

It is situated about half kilometres from Kalyani devi temple. This holds equal importance as Kalyani devi. The temple is clean and the management handles people coming to the temple efficiently. There are stalls outside the temple to buy flowers and prasad. The only problem is of parking. People park their vehicle wherever they get place. This make the place a bit crowdy. Also, there are two, three small temples outside the main temple but all are in same campus. Suggestion: if you are visiting this place, avoid coming by cars.

It is the pinnacle of faith and belief, a location of holiness and divinity in the middle of a highly crowded environment. As I entered this time in the Navratis, it was beautifully lit and adorned.

Kalyani Devi mandir is a shaktipeeth, where goddess fingers have fallen. The temple is small but peaceful, other than Devi there is nothing to see.
