Prayagraj junction later named Allahabad junction is a indian railway transport platform it's a very busy junction having almost 13 or 14 platform for train arrival and departure and you need to book tickets almost a month earlier to travel from here and coming to their facilities, they are good having multiple business on site like catering services, confectionery store, pure filter water, free wifi and many more things and it is very clean and tidy.

To go to different platforms one need not had to take stairs, they have escalator and slating slope path. Yoginath government has really worked on keeping the platform neat and modern.

Park is good for every person, children, here can get fresh air and play sports. This park has a big sized statue of Martyr Chandrashekhar Azad and gives youa real feeling of his bravery. This park is well maintained and is clean and peaceful. The park is open from 4:00am to 8:00pm. They charge you ₹5 as a entery fee. A good place to spend your time with your love ones. Always great to visit and stay there for some time., reminds us what they people have done for us, what courage have they in their young age, what knowledge and plannings they were having at that time A must visit place in Prayagraj

There is no dormitory or room service of railways in station. There is lot of room available near by station but the price is high.

Good experience at first visit. Station is being optimised. Good entry main gate. They have free AC waiting area and paid AC hall (10 Rupee for one hour). Escalators are there at both end on platform 1. Cloak room is at the end of the platform 1. Reaching to platform 7 is a bit tricky. One biggest con is that the train status is updated very slowly in platforms and in the enquiry centre.

Prayagraj is a main destination for travellers and holi sites. But the station is lagging behind by 1 point only due to missing facilities at all platforms and no proper food court. As I mentioned on a single point is less than a 5 star , So still if you are starting platform your experience may be 5 stars. Station basic facilities like bathroom and sitting are available at all platforms. Only 2 food courts are available at only platform 1 even if they don't want to give a proper GST bill until you have to fight with them , they want to charge extra and if you ask for a proper bill they reduce the price and still try to not give any bill. Even after staff behaviour will be rude. Ticketing and reservation points are well managed but due to the large number of trains the crowd is there, so you can buy tickets from outside vendors as well. 1-6 platforms are well managed after that some mismanagement was there. Platform 1 is always clean and sanity is maintained. Two types of waiting room 1- free waiting room from railway for all categories 2 - paid AC waiting room from the private vendor with 10 Rs/ hour charge People can be seen bathing at the track from the cleaning pipe , I have not taken any photos to maintain their privacy but it could be stopped by local staff.
