And when he got to know that his death is nearer and he would be killed by English men then he suicide on his own with his riffile gun and hence he were not killed by English men and thus he was a real Martyr who sacrifice his whole life for the indepence of our country so that's why we remember him and his devotion towards the soil by naming this Albert Garden to Shaheed Azad Park, sometimes also called company Garden of Allahabad.

Great place to walk and do your exercise. There is a special track for jogging on the outer most road of the park. This place is well secured. There are guards at all the gates of entry. It use to be free but now there is a ₹5 entry fee which don't seems to be much as seeing the place. There are washrooms for ladies and gentlemen at every few intervals with water coolers too. Over all. Amazing place.

This park is known as Azad park as an outsider I am not aware of it. I asked with auto person Alfred park and luckily he knows and shared me the real name. Park is big and beautiful. Good place for kids and family. I went on 1st Jan there were huge crowd looks like most of allahabad/prayagraj people came out to celebrate New year. My kid and family enjoy in the park with other kids.Entry cost is just five rupees person which is good. Only one thing I missed or might be not aware about where was washroom incase of emergency.
