Beautiful ghat built on sides of Sangam, it's a good olace if you want to avoid crowd and visit Sangam. The ghat is very neat and clean, it's much better than any Chowpatty, you can get some street snacks here. Good place of peace and harmony. Good for meditation and worship of River Ganga. Safe and beautiful place to go with family and friends. You can view Allahabad fort, Yamuna bridge, Ganga bridge, Sangam and Prayagraj city from this side of the river

Beautiful other side of Ganges and Yamuna sangam. Less crowded and has very less amount of vendors. One can peacefully sit here with no disturbances. No provision for toilets or other basic facilities.

Allahabad Arail Ghat, a picturesque and historic site situated along the banks of the holy Ganges River, is a place of immense cultural and spiritual significance. This tranquil ghat, nestled in the heart of Allahabad, offers a serene and immersive experience for both locals and tourists. The most remarkable feature of Allahabad Arail Ghat is its spiritual aura. Pilgrims and devotees flock here to take a dip in the sacred Ganges, believing that it cleanses their sins and brings them closer to salvation. The sight of people offering prayers and performing rituals by the river is a poignant and moving experience, showcasing the deep-rooted religious traditions of India. In addition to its spiritual allure, Allahabad Arail Ghat offers breathtaking views of the river. The banks are adorned with well-maintained gardens, making it an ideal spot for a leisurely stroll, meditation, or simply to soak in the natural beauty. Watching the sunrise or sunset by the river is a mesmerizing experience, and the ghat comes alive with vibrant colors and a sense of tranquility. While the ghat provides an excellent escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, it's important to note that its facilities may not be as well-developed as some other tourist destinations. However, this lends it an authentic and unspoiled charm, preserving its cultural and historical roots. In summary, Allahabad Arail Ghat is a place of profound spiritual significance, offering a serene escape from the chaos of everyday life. Its serene ambiance and beautiful riverfront views make it a must-visit destination for those seeking a deeper connection with India's rich spiritual heritage.

This is a good place to visit. This place exists opposite to the sangam. It is very beautiful ghat called Arail ghat.Arail Ghat is a beautiful and serene place to visit in Prayagraj. It is located on the opposite side of the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of three holy rivers: Ganga, Yamuna, and Saraswati. Arail Ghat is a popular spot for pilgrims and tourists who want to take a dip in the sacred waters and perform rituals. The ghat also offers a stunning view of the Ganges and the surrounding greenery. Arail Ghat is not only a religious site but also a cultural hub. It hosts several festivals and events throughout the year, such as the Maghi Purnima Mela and the Kumbh Mela, which attract millions of visitors from all over the world. Arail Ghat is also home to some historical and artistic attractions, such as the Sanskriti Gram and the Kala Gram, which showcase the rich heritage and diversity of India.

During my visit to Arial Ghat in Prayagraj, I was truly captivated by the spiritual aura that enveloped the place. The sound of the Ganges gently lapping against the steps, the scent of incense wafting through the air, and the sight of devotees immersed in prayer created a serene atmosphere that touched my soul. I couldn't help but be awed by the historical significance of this ghat, especially when thinking about the millions of pilgrims who come here during the Kumbh Mela. It's not just a physical location but a spiritual epicenter where people from all walks of life come to seek blessings and cleanse their souls in the sacred river. As I took a dip in the holy Ganges, I felt a profound sense of purification and connection to India's rich cultural heritage. Arial Ghat is not just a place; it's an experience that leaves an indelible mark on one's heart and spirit.

Only 4 star only for the ….. comparison to varanasi ghat In arial ghat is not too long due to this tourism is not good but in kumbh this is the best place for stay for kalpwash (one month or more) due to more space in comparison to sangam(city side) and banaras too .

Great experience, you surely will get some lone time there to spent, beautiful breathtaking location. Great for photography. It’s very quiet area around there during off season but during festivals its get packed with tons of people. On the bank of yamuna river its a magnificent view. After huge renovation buy Yogi sarkar its a must visit when you are in prayagraj or Allahabad. But beware during off season don’t stay late as its a remote area and full of crimes.

It's a nice place to roam around. One can spend 1/2 hours here. It is not recommended to visit here during night. It's in outskirts of the main city. The place is not well maintained. You can visit with family and friends. It is approx 7 km from city centre.

Beautiful, peaceful and tranquil place opposite to prayagraj. Its better to be this side of yamuna to avoid chaos of allahabad. Place is safe for family. I saw many runners , walkers , cyclist this side . I hope sunset view is much better. It takes around 50 rupees by boat to cross yamuna to and fro sangam.

Arail ghat gets you some of the most amazing view of the sangam. You must cross the lord Curzon bridge and immediately take left. Since this place is very famous it should not be a problem to reach. If you are a tourist kindly ensure to cross check the fares via ubers. It is advisable to not let your uber go away but rather make it stay as I am not sure if you will be able to get any ride back. There are basic dhabas at Arail ghat and couple of dhabas can be found if you can move away from the Curzon bridge and some basic thelas ( cart shops selling food ). Avoid this place during after or near sunset if you are tourist and do not have any trusted local / guide with you. The Arail ghats is located at exact points where the The Ganges meet The Yamuna and proceeds ahead as The Ganges. The place is surreal any season any month. Specially during sunset and sunrise. It's mesmerising. Avoid during heavy rain as the water level rises to danges levels and the road connecting and the bridge may get blocked. I would recommend summer mornings and evenings and winters afternoons. The place is silent usually but it roars during monsoons and shows its true colors during maha Kumbh or during the sanan of the sadhus.

This ghat is on the other side of Yamuna river (other than the one near Fort)..one has to cross Naini bridge to reach here..this ghat is better than main Sangam area..cleanliness is the highlight of the place..large free parking area is available..this place offers unmatched views of Sangam and Yamuna river as it is on a raised ground which slopes into the river..a relatively peaceful and must visit place.
