Sangam ghat in prayagraj is a holy place and must visit. Here couples perform venidanam(hair) and people do pinda daan for ancestors. Important point must be noted here is, everything depends upon your bargaining power for sangam boat travel and venidanam to pinda pradaan, otherwise they will ask national budget. So note it down. For brahmims better to go with jagannath sastry.

Place where river Ganga, Yamuna, Sarswati meet and make triveni Sangam. This is a holy place and after taking bath in the Sangam it feels positive and calm. Mostly seem the rush on Hindu festival, Boat service are available here, camel ride and horse ride are available on ghat, best time to visit here is in early morning. Good experience must visit here.

Very nice place ☺️, fair for one passenger boating is 60. The whole boat costs you 450 -500 for 1-2 hrs ride. This includes a boat that takes your sangam (confluence) point of ganga & yamuna, you can take your holy dip in water, after that puja & then return to ghat by boat.

तृप्ति की आकांक्षा है तो ये जगह शीर्ष पर है। बेहद सुखद अनुभव। Tip- If you are going to visit for the first time be careful from boat sailor and local Unauthorized venders. On ghaat boat owner will demand hundreds of money to ride sail on. If you are student and money manager then choose sharing boat by cost of 60-100₹ max per person. Depend on your bargain.

One of the Holy place in India to have dip once in your life to wash away all the bad energies in the water of three holy rivers of India The Ganga, yamuna and sarswati. You can come at the sangam point from the ghat by pay 60 rupees to the boat fairy. And Enjoy the ride in The Ganga. I went there previous year and had extremely good experience.

Hiii friends. Sangan ghaat is a very nice, pleasant and peaceful spot. Fortunately i have been into this holy place but not at the time of kumbh mela# as this time there is so much crowd so you can't explore and see the natural views of ghaat. The best time to go at ghat is in the morning or in the evening. I went in the evening time and Guys i can bet, you will never forget the peace and calmness of the area and also amazing sunset. Heir a boat which is available there. They costs just 100 rs per person. As you will go ahead you will see the birds, sunset and the peacefulness in the area. You will Never forget this time. As you will go to the triveni sangam you can take holy dip in the river and guys it's really amazing. Just as Haridwar and Banaras has their own value so the praygraj has. You can Click the photos from the boat. After taking bath attend Ganga aarti unfortunately i was not able to attend but i have heard the religious chants and people sitting near the river. Its amazing. Unforgettable moments..♥️🌸. Grateful 🥰.

My visit to Allahabad was a truly enchanting journey. The highlight of my trip was the boat ride at the sacred Sangam, where the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers converge. As our boat gently glided through the peaceful waters, seagulls accompanied us, their elegant flight enhancing the beauty of this spiritual voyage. It was a moment of serenity and connection with nature that I will forever cherish.

Triveni Sangam is the confluence of the Ganges (Ganga), Yamuna, and the mythical Sarasvati River. Triveni Sangam is located at Prayag – the area of Prayagraj neighbouring the confluence; for this reason, the confluence is also sometimes referred to as Prayag. The Ganges and Yamuna there can be identified by their different colours – the water of the Ganges is clear while that of Yamuna is greenish in colour. The third river, mythical Saraswati, is called invisible. A place of religious importance and the site for historic Kumbh Mela held every 12 years, over the years it has also been the site of immersion of ashes of several national leaders, including Mahatma Gandhi in 1949 The auspiciousness of the confluence of two rivers is referred to in the Rigveda, which says, "Those who bathe at the place where the two rivers, white and dark, flow together, rise up to heaven.

It was full of polythene waste, no maintenance. Like if after mahakumbh they forgot that Sangam is here. No pukka ghat is made here it's just sandy and muddy. Also, people have covered the end point of Sangam ghat with "puja samagri" and their hair which they've offered to Lord in exchange of salvation of their ancestors'.

Triveni sangam in Allahabad/ Prayagraj. Boats to the Sangam can be rented by pilgrims and tourists alike at the ghat near the fort. The history of Sangam Ghat in Prayagraj dates back to ancient times, and the site holds great significance in Hindu mythology and history. The confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers at this site is believed to be the place where the gods and goddesses came to bathe during ancient times.

in India and attracts thousands of devotees and tourists each year, especially during the Kumbh Mela festival. The Sangam Ghat is associated with Hindu mythology and is believed to be the place where the celestial nectar, Amrit, fell during the mythical battle between the gods and demons for its possession. Devotees come to Sangam Ghat to take a holy dip in the rivers, and I'll consider it as one of the peaceful places.

One of the most holiest place (ghat). River yamuna and Ganga meets here also mythical river saraswati. Ghat is on Yamuna river bank. Sangam point (ganga-sarasvati-yamuna) is just 100 meter away where you can take deep and offer puja. Take your own coconuts and flowers with you else bramhan on Sangam point charge you 300+ INR for that on top of that they will ask bramhan daan. Also visit nearby hanuman temple.

It is a holy place for those who believe in Hinduism. It is the confluence of three rivers, Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati. You can see different colors of water in Ganga and Yamuna. Many pilgrims bathe here, and change their clothes in the open, sometimes not looking good. You can rent a boat and visit. Many migratory birds come here in winter.

Its a holy place for hindus where the three major rivers namely Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati meet. Yamuna and Saraswati rivers flow into Ganga and then Ganga travels further east from here. Its very closely located to Akbar and Hanuman temple. The place is a bit dirty and poorly maintained though. You’ll find ample boating options here. The boat guys ask for way too much money so I’d recommend bargaining hard. We got a private boat ride for 650 rupees for two people. The energy of this place is very positive and you cant miss visiting here when in Prayagraj

It is a wonderful sight to see three holy rivers merging into one at the Sangam Ghat. Due to Saraswati river being invisible, only the confluence of river Ganges and Yamuna can be seen in it. The water of Ganga ji is muddy and flowing whereas the water of Yamuna river appears to be green in color and stable.

In Hindu tradition, prayagraj Sangam is the confluence of three rivers that is also a sacred place, with a bath here said to flush away all of one's sins and free one from the cycle of rebirth. From the city centre it is near about 5 km. The place is reachable by public transport.

Boat ride to the sangam is considered religious and there you can see two rivers combining into one if you get a boat ride. It's a good experience but the ghats are filled with plastic accessories that need to be cleaned. The view is really good especially the sunset. Be there before 6 pm after that no boat rides are allowed.

Awesome experience...... One thing to note if you are visiting for the first time..... Then be careful when you are going to travel at Sangam ghat from boat ... First ask the charge from the locals and compare then choose wisely.... राधे राधे ||
