platforms are clean as per compare to earlier it was ,alsonew equipment added everywhere like new water points,dustbins restroom 🚽 and some of platforms are upgraded with features and graphics and design on walls pretty much expressive.

Overall Very nice railway station consisting 4 platforms. Platform no. 4 and 5 are busiest one because it connects with Prayagraj Junction railway station .

It also a Terminal station of Prayagraj.Due to huge rush at Allahabad junction the railway will develop as a high facilitated terminal. The Allahabad Varanasi to Gorakhpur main line was constructed as a 1,000 mm (3 ft 3 3⁄8 in) wide metre gauge line by the Bengal and North Western Railway between 1899 and 1913. Which day i reached f getting train...dat day all trains was canceled n ... ..needs much more improvement n facilities..try to make free from gutkha,paan -supari- masala people's .... ..problems will never end in UTTAR PRADESH or with their people's..if dy will not make divisions of state.... Development with these much population quite impossible..because illiteracy looks in people's behavior

Limited long distance mail trains as such less crowded. Overall cleanliness is good. For visiting prayag this station is fine. No proper food stalls available. Even surrounding areas not having proper eateries.
