The good, bad and ugly. First the good. Located on the bustling miami river, the turnpike of the sea. Views of million dollar yachts, cargo vessels, moderate boats and dinghy’s making their way in and out of the river. The menu has something for everyone. Fresh seafood and meat for the carnivore. Their dishes are delightful and delicious. The bad, hands down the service. Our waiter was either overwhelmed or just forgetful. We asked for water three times and didn’t get water from him once. Got it from another waiter walking by. He then came by and asked if we were ready for dessert when we hadn’t even received our entrees. We finished our entrees and once someone came by to clean our table in his absence he came by and said he spoke to the kitchen and our food was on our way, however we just ate it. At that point my husband asked for the check. Now for the ugly. Gratuity of 18% is included whether you have bad service or good service. In our case we didn’t have good service. Adding gratuity automatically may be the problem with not providing excellent service. There is no priority to go the extra mile because they’re being tipped anyway. We drove four hours from central florida and sadly this was a one and done for us.

Sea Spice seems to be a go-to spot to celebrate birthdays or just to enjoy and experience the Miami scene. The location along the Miami River is fantastic and it’s fun to sit outside and watch the boats cruising by. The ambiance is definitely Miami cool and the food is consistently excellent. Prices are a bit steep so be prepared but well worth it for celebrating a special occasion.

NOT at all impressed and kind of upset. Besides the apps that were pretty good, it was not a good experience. Service was ok, as I understand it was busy. But, the entree...the one I paid $110 for was probably worth $40, at most! I expected perhaps a half of a lobster tail, at the least! We got a piece of lobster claw, a chunk of a tail, 2 prawns, a small piece or 2 of fish and NO king crab! Instead we got a bunch of calamari bodies, which I don't eat, ever! No squash, just two thick chunks of asparagus. I saw an old menu which shows the same plate with squid, instead of the king crab and the charge was $65. I don't understand how in the heck they can justify charging so much for nothing! I have NO problem spending money on good food, quality food. But if wasting your money is the goal...feel free to try them! Manager compensated a bit with the drinks, but being that I had one drink, it didn't do much for my part of the bill. *** I can see from the review that the owner only bother's to respond to positive reviews. Perhaps corresponding with the people that didn't quite have a great experience, will help you to improve, where you lack.

Celebrated my birthday here. The ambience and the view are the first things you’ll notice and they are top notch with great music, and yachts floating by. Service at first was a little bit slow but that’s typical of some higher end restaurants. We started with the coconut salmon ceviche, presentation was nice but I wouldn’t order it again. Next up we tried the fois gras, this was a delicious dish that few do properly, and I truly enjoyed it. For dinner my wife and I shared the Branzino and Chilean Sea Bass along with a side of mushrooms. The Branzino’s choice of seasoning just didn’t do it for either of us, and we are huge Branzino fans. You may ask how did the Restuarant get 5 stars with half the dishes being so so? Easy, the Chilean Sea Bass was phenomenal! When we come back, and we will come back it will be just for the fois gras, the Chilean Sea Bass and dessert. It was my birthday so they dressed it up specifically for the occasion but the Baclava Cheesecake, which I didn’t think was a feasible cross over dessert was out of this world. My wife doesn’t even love sweets and she really enjoyed it. All in all, the view, mood, sea bass and baclava cheesecake was enough to over look some of the shortcomings and definitely return again!

Great service overall, fantastic atmosphere. There is a nice bar to get drinks from while you wait to be seated. We were a group of friends celebrating a birthday. We sat inside but we could see the water which was very nice at night. I got the Caesar Salad with Salmon and my husband the same with shrimp. Everything was delicious. We had some champagne and several cocktails. The food, The drinks everything was amazing. Our waiter was very friendly, polite & patient. I Highly recommend this place.

Hyped up seafood restaurant with marina. Fun for drinks and hanging out. We went for lunch and were disappointed with the food - did not get price for value honestly. The pizza was nice, do not get the salads. However the ambience is great, very much a party scene. Great cocktail menu and they offer bottle service.

Great atmosphere. There is a nice bar to get drinks from while you wait to be seated. We sat outside by the water which was very nice at night. I got the NY strip. It was cooked Mid rare when it first came out but because of the hot stone it came on it was cooked to about medium while sitting on the table. It was still delicious. The Pappardelle was also good. The drinks were also delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and the overall experience was amazing! I Highly recommend this place.

Had the greatest experience at Seaspice last week for our friend's birthday celebration. Had a table for 8 around 10:45Pm with view to the port. The atmosphere was electric with live music. The food was delicious (The best fried plaintain I ever ate👌🏿) and the service top notch. If you are in Miami, it's definitely worth a visit. (I wish I had better pictures but we were having too much fun that I forgot to take some🤦🏿‍♀️)

This place is breath taking, from the design down to the food. They offer outside seating , great bar , live music , unbelievable views, and a great staff. The food is out of this world . Very pricey place but worth every dollar you spend. It's quite an experience. Again the food is phenomenal. The atmosphere is amazing . You can't leave here disappointed. It's impossible.

Good spot to party and have fun ! As I’m addicted to a little different style to have a weekend dinner at this time I was pretty surprised but adjusted to reality. To be honest I like it. Beautiful people well and sexy dressed, contemporary music, good selection of drinks and food menu. Price… you have to pay for location and level of surroundings which doesn’t match to level of restaurant, restaurant itself way higher comparing to what I saw on my way to reach to. I wouldn’t park my car anywhere on a streets in the area next to, only valet which is provided by restaurant for $40. Food, 4.0* Service , 4.0* Price, 3.0* means overpriced If you seat next to the water you feel some exhaust from the yacht sailing by, depends on the wind direction.

A great place for a opulent meal. Yes, it is expensive, but for what you get and the city you are in, actually reasonable. The food was surprisingly good. And the views were amazing! We were sitting next to the water as yachts parked and unloaded. Very cool experience if you want a boujee experience.

My first time going to this restaurant. Was there celebrating a birthday, as well a few other guests there. The atmosphere was nice and the food was pretty good. Our server was helpful and kind. I definitely recommend dining at this establishment. I'll be going back again in the near future.

The venue is amazing!! The food is exquisite and the cocktails too, everything was a chef's kiss! This place is known for the amazing view, I came for my birthday and it was a shame it rained so we couldn't be at the terrace but we had a nice time anyways. The service was pretty good too, our waitress was very attentive. Only down part was that it took them some time to give us a table even though we had a reservation and we didn't find the hostess in the reception too helpful.

I celebrated my Birthday with my Family of 5 and I had an amazing time thanks to Our server Juan. We had the Filet Mingon I do recommended it Medium. And the lamb Chops were delicious as well with the risotto. My girlfriend enjoyed her Chicken Ceasar salad.

Great experience overall. The place is absolutely stunning since you get out of the car. Everything is beautiful and there are so many places to sit. View is spectacular with boats sailing through. Service is top notch, Ana was amazing. We went on a Sunday and the whole thing transformed into an awesome party, great music, delicious cocktails and vibe. I have also been to a wedding here and had an absolutely amazing time. Price is high but as you would expect in Miami, but quality of food and service is worth it.

Waiters were beyond exceptional & professional. Hostess was very rude & single-handedly ruined my experience entirely. I remained polite and courteous and when I asked to speak to the manager instead was given silent treatment. If she is replaced I’d give this place a 10/10. Food presentation was great. I can’t say I would recommend as long as she’s in the establishment as hostesses set the atmosphere/ vibe of your day & ultimately ruined our experience.

The food at Seaspice is totally 5 Stars all the way, I'd even give it 6, if I could. I started off with their Hudson Valley Pan-Seared Foie Gras done with a steamed brioche, onion marmalade, and caramelized apple. $35.00, but heavenly in taste and flavor; worth every penny. My partner had their coconut salmon ceviche which was served inside of half of a coconut. Not only was it a taste delight but eye-appealing as well. For my entrée, I went for their Pizzetta being a small Pear & Gorgonzola pizza composed of Barlett pear, gorgonzola, and shaved black truffle. It was unbelievably wonderful in taste, flavor, and with the crunch of the, texture too. My partner went for their whole fried Florida yellowtail snapper which was one of the most eye-appealing dishes ever and tasted as good as it looked $58.00, but well worth it.

Wow, one of the most fun and exciting dinners of my life. Fresh seafood, decadent crab and oysters, delicious, well cooked steak and fries too. Every bite was delicious, even the salads and dessert. Would recommend going with a group so you can taste lots of items. Beautiful, chill atmosphere by the water until the real party started, lights, music, beautiful dancers, an electric violinist, sparklers galore and just an upbeat energy from everyone there and all the passing boats who come by to party too. This would be an epic place for a bachelor or bachelorette party or really any celebration. ~$250/per person but absolutely worth it in my opinion based on the quality of food, service, drinks and atmosphere. Can't wait to come back again soon

If you're planning a visit to Miami, be sure to include this restaurant on your list. It offers a great overall experience, with a stunning location, beautiful ambiance, and a spectacular view of boats sailing by. The service is exceptional, and the food is absolutely delicious.

I absolutely loved sea spice. This is probably my fifth time going. This was the first time for my family from out of town and everyone was so impressed by the food drinks and service. I also really loved their Miami spice menu. I highly recommend this to anybody who wants a beautiful view of the river and wants to enjoy a nice day out. My only complaint will be that the drinks are a little expensive and not that much alcohol in them, but this is something you could expect from most Miami restaurants.

Tried out Miami spice menu. The mussels were delish; salmon was cooked to perfection. For dessert the pistachio donuts were so much more tasty than the peach ice cream.

You can never go wrong when choosing Seaspice whether it is for lunch or dinner. Sunday's are my favorite nights to come! But if you want a quiet dinner do not come on a Sunday as it turns like a club. Yup on a Sunday! The service is always on point, waiter/waitresses are always very attentive. The food is delicious and worth the price. If you're on a low budget, not your restaurant as it is pricier than the neighboring restaurants. There's valet available across the street if you can't find street parking. Make reservation upon if you're going on a weekend! Tres Leches is a must!!!! Highly Recommended!

The venue for vibing astride the active Miami River, you’ll enjoying the sights of yachts and a vibrant and buzzing dinning scene surrounded by lush decor. Great atmosphere, extensive high end food offering, tasty drinks, and exceptionally courteous staff are all pluses.

Took my fiancé to seaspice and we were so impressed with the service and the food. We did the 3 course meal octopus a la plancha, ravioli was creamy and sweet, filet and potatoes were cooked to perfection. Desert tres leches and Guanaja Chocolate Cremoso was a little on the sweet side but we enjoyed it! Hopped over to Kiki on the river for a little dancing and sun

I loved this place we sat on the deck perfect for an intimate date. Definitely pricey. Beware the salad is a half a head. The service was great, mussels and drinks! A wait so make reservations.

Celebrated my birthday here and I had a memorable experience. My boyfriend initially booked the reservation and we were seated on the inside. We made a request to wait for the waterfront dining and it was a spectacular experience. Worth the wait, which wasn’t long at all. The food was amazing, great ambiance and customer service was above and beyond.

Pros : great ambiance, the atmosphere is perfect. If you want something off the water , and a great vibe this is the place for you for sure ! The food was neutral , the tres leches dessert was amazing Cons: overpriced and small portions , also you will pay for parking no matter if you dined in or not …. This restaurant is an experience and due to the price not something most people can do often. Non the less I love this place but be ready to reach into your pockets

The place is very nice by the river. We had the Dover Sole and NY Strip. My husband got food poisoned and ended up in the ER. For the price they are charging for a meal, the food and service should equals that. Very disappointed.

This place is phenomenal! Great ambience, right on the water. Recommend sitting on the patio vs indoors. The yellowtail snapper is delicious and worth every penny. You will not regret ordering it. I’ve never had anything that tasted so good! Drinks were also good. Service was great. Definitely recommend this place and will be back when I’m in Miami next!

I had eagerly made a reservation for my birthday celebration, making sure to request a specific dish - the delectable salt-prepared fish. To ensure its availability, I even called the restaurant two days in advance and conversed with two individuals who assured me that the dish would be waiting for me. Filled with anticipation, we arrived at the restaurant, ready to savor the fish we had longed for. However, to our dismay, upon being seated, the waiter informed us that no specific reservation had been made and that the fish had already been sold out. Disheartened, we reluctantly settled for something else from the menu, but it didn't compare to what we had originally desired. To our disappointment, the octopus we ordered turned out to be excessively salty, while the lamb was slightly greasy. Even the dessert lacked the distinct flavor we had hoped for. It became evident that we hadn't been properly advised on our choices. With a bill totaling 800 for the three of us, the overall experience at the restaurant was far from enjoyable. The unfulfilled promise of the dish I had reserved left me deeply dissatisfied. Considering this disappointing experience, it's unlikely that I will ever return to that place.

Seaspice Brasserie & Lounge is a great place to see and be seen while visiting Miami. The atmosphere and chic aesthetic vibes are what I love the most about this venue. The food and beverages are satisfying but are a little over priced. The servers are hospitable but I felt like we were pressured to order more food even though we didn't have a large appetite. They automatically include 20% gratuity and our bill came out to $330 for six drinks, one grilled octopus and one black truffle risotto. I enjoy coming here for the ambiance and Miami vibes that flow from the chic patio to the vibrant lounge.

Came here for the first time to celebrate Valentine's Day with my husband and absolutely loved it! We were able to make reservations the same day for Saturday night and sat right on the water. We ordered New York Strip on a volcanic stone and a fish that was filleted right in front of us by our server! The lighting, the music, the food, the decor, just everything was amazing. The only thing that was a downer was a huge yacht docked right in front of us, so it blocked our view for most of our meal. I definitely recommend it to anyone who wants a whole experience.

This is one of the best places in Miami. It gets busy towards the night but we went around 4pm and got a table for two without reservation. It's recommended to get a reservation for evening. You watch all the boats go by with all the people who are partying or just enjoying the boat ride right next to you as you enjoy your food. Food is excellent and drinks were exceptional. Thank you for taking care of us ❤️

Cool place on the water. Good food. Good drinks. Went with a large group for lunch after flying in from Texas. Some people ordered the "Froze" drink and they were served a glass only half way filled. Thought that was just a mistake but noticed everyone who ordered this drink was only given a glass half full. I ordered the mojito and really enjoyed it. It was pink and filled to the top of my glass. Felt I was actually getting what I was paying for. The food was really good. The atmosphere was fun. You can sit inside or outside. The bathroom thing is ummm a little different. You have 4 doors to choose from and not all of them lock. Yes they are for both genders. So be sure your door locks or you will be open to public viewing. We enjoyed our lunch. It's definitely worth trying.

A pricey brunch with good food and quite the “scene.” $20+ avo toast and $50+ lobster Benny are a bit of a splurge. Paying for the waterfront location sans the service to match

We loved the Cool Vibe of this Restaurant. We felt like Celebrities eating here 🥰 The service is Excellent, the food is delicious and the Restaurant is Beautiful with 3 different decoration styles, 2 inside and 1 nice outdoor seating. We sat outside to enjoy the view of Miami River. It was nice to see a luxury yacht parking on the side to come for lunch here. Menu prices are high but definitely worth it because we really enjoyed it!!!

Biggest disappointment of our trip. Reservation for 9:45, seated at 10:15, ordered at 10:30, food arrived 11:25. We had other plans for the night, cancelled because of the delay here. Was going to give 2 stars because of the good food, but then we were asked for additional tip on top of a 20% service fee, amazing. To be clear, it wasn't our waiter's fault, he followed up on our food multiple times.

I decided to celebrate my birthday at Seaspice this year. I brought a cake with me and I was aware of the $5 fee per customer for cutting the cake since it’s not the first time that I celebrate a birthday at this restaurant. In my case, I preferred to cut it myself like I always do. When I received the bill, the was a charge for $50 for a service they never provided. The waitress claimed that the charge was for temporary holding onto the cake at the kitchen. Really?! The customer used to have the option of choosing if they want that service or not. If they changed their policy, they should make the customer aware of that. I love Seaspice but I am very disappointed.

It starts with great service, has an amazing energetic ambiance on the water and the food is unmatched. I had the octopus, a difficult food to prepare. My wife had the halibut for her entree and I had the dover sole. Our server was Sylvi. She made for an awesome experience for us as we celebrated our 16th anniversary there. I e will make it a point to visit on our next trip to Miami.

Took awhile to to be seated but well worth the wait. The staff is amazing! Food? Amazing! Management amazing! There's no better place in Miami for an evening out. #Delicious

Love this place! The decor is so cute!! We went for Miami spice and their selection of food was simply divine! Mussels were top notch!!! I advise sitting closer to the water - you get a front row seat of seating people pass by on their boats which will make it feel like a dinner and a show. Also a huge pro - service is super fast :)

  • 5/5 Ayesha R. 2 years ago on Google
Can we say the atmosphere are beautiful. Anything on the water looking at yatchs going by while eating is always a great vibe. The food matched the atmosphere my favorites was the tres Leche and the filet mignon on a hot stone amazing. They also offer the miami spice lunch menu from 12pm to 3pm which is nice only for $28.00.
