A
big
thank
you
goes
to
Yelp
and
E11EVEN
for
setting
this
up.
:)
And
by
this,
I
am
referring
to
the
fact
that
they
teamed
up
to
present
me
this
free
dinner.
See,
the
story
started
with
a
Yelp
event
for
Elites
at
E11EVEN,
specifically
ROOFTOP
AT
E11EVEN,
which
is
the
part
where
you
have
an
actual
restaurant.
I
explain
this
as
the
first
time
I
went,
I
was
a
tad
confused.
Apparently
the
club
part
is
E11EVEN
and
the
food
part
is
ROOFTOP
AT
E11EVEN.
Despite
this,
both
sections
have
bars.
Anyway,
at
the
Elite
Event
held
last
month,
a
contest
took
place.
Tickets
were
handed
out
and
four
people
had
matching
tickets.
Find
your
people
and
win
a
free
dinner
on
the
house
not
just
for
yourself
but
for
a
+1,
so
needless
to
say,
free
dinner
for
eight
people.
Wow!
I
was
one
of
the
fortunate
ones
who
won
and
I
am
so
grateful.
I
ended
up
taking
one
of
my
dearest
friends
as
my
boyfriend
had
a
midterm
and
couldn't
come
with
me.
That
being
said,
the
way
they
set
this
up
is
that
each
person
in
our
group
could
get
two
rounds
of
alcohol,
be
it
cocktails,
wine,
or
a
mix
of
both.
In
terms
of
food,
we
were
permitted
to
pick
an
appetizer,
entrΓ©e,
and
dessert
off
the
Miami
Spice
menu.
I
guess
great
minds
think
alike
because
both
my
friend
and
I
opted
for
the
same
food
choices;
alcohol
was
the
only
thing
that
varied.
Our
meals
thus
consisted
of
rigatoni
with
chicken
bolognese,
flatiron
steak,
and
chocolate
mousse
cake.
My
favorite
part
of
this
meal
was
admittedly
the
appetizer;
the
rigatoni
with
the
chicken
bolognese
was
a
godsend
and
the
only
hellish
thing
about
it
was
its
size.
I
wish
it
had
been
bigger,
but
oh
well.
The
flatiron
steak
was
well
done
and
tasted
good,
but
it
was
a
bit
too
seasoned
for
my
liking;
the
accompanying
potatoes
were
perfect
though.
The
chocolate
mousse
cake?
I
can't
believe
I
am
saying
this,
but
while
I
enjoyed
it,
I
couldn't
finish
it
all.
It
was
way
too
rich.
In
terms
of
drinks,
the
white
wine
I
had
was
amazing.
Crisp,
full
of
flavor,
and
rather
refreshing
in
fact.
The
cocktail
was
hands
on
great,
too,
with
its
splash
of
cranberry.
Oh,
and
to
top
it
all
off,
the
service
was
the
best,
if
not
one
of
the
best,
I
have
ever
had.
They
even
treated
us
to
a
free
round
of
shots.
I
was
severely
impressed
by
the
tender
loving
care
they
provided
us
with.
Unfortunately,
as
much
as
I
may
want
to,
I
cannot
give
them
five
stars.
The
food
was
good,
don't
get
me
wrong,
but
it
didn't
blow
me
out
of
the
water.
It
is
possible
I
just
ordered
the
wrong
dish,
so
when
I
come
back
and
try
something
different,
I
have
no
qualms
updating
my
review.
Seriously,
I
do
hope
it
was
this
because
I
do
feel
this
is
one
of
those
experiences
you
have
to
try
at
least
once.
I
mean,
come
now,
eating
in
a
rooftop
restaurant?
It's
to
die
for!
