I really love this place, I love the people and staff here and the awesome food and environment. But man, the music that has been playing here on Fridays completely ruins the atmosphere. It does not fit the ambiance at all. The music is hip, upbeat and house style. But Roots is more of a place people come to chill and relax, so it would be better to play more chill music. It's so bad that last Friday I left, and today I left too. A lot of people were complaining either that the music was too bad or too loud. I would say this is a major downside for this this place. It would at least be better if the music wasn't SO loud.

This was my first kava and kratom experience. We got the Jedi Mind trick which you start with a kava drink, then kratom, and end with kava. I don’t think you get the full experience of either with the Jedi mind trick because you’re trying both in one sitting. I did take a Cheech & Chong to go to drink the following day. I got to truly experience the effects of the kratom. Euphoria. I just felt like my was exponentially greater and was all good vibes. For the kava, I don’t enjoy the taste and texture, very…lol earthy. I look forward to visiting this spot on my next visit to Miami.

Been coming to this business since the old location in Wynwood. The product is excellent even if you're a long time Kava/Kratom consumer. The community is full of open minded people who are goal-oriented and have their heads on straight. The service is excellent with helpful and friendly bartenders (Shout out to Danny!)

Really love the kava and cratom drinks here. The atmosphere is really chill, like a great place to study or just hang out. And they sometimes have a band playing music or on Wednesdays there's open mic so that's cool.

The scenery is nice however, the staff and management are very prejudice they require you to purchase something before sitting down … the office is very rude and did not listen… I went there to inquire about event space and they did not want me or my partner to even explain the ideas we had to planned unless we book an appt with the office. Which they did not provide details on how to do so… I would not recommend to any event planner or creative. Based on the response below you can see how terrible the staff is. Really great and chill place to hang out and enjoy Kava! The seats and comfortable and chill. The people are friendly and helpful. There are occasional performers which make the experience more enjoyable!

Great place, relax, friendly. Also easy free parking just next to the kava Bar. I went early afternoon so it wasn't that busy. You can enjoy the outdoors in the back or you can stay indoors.

I've been there twice. It's close to home. The vibe is chill. The House Kava is great. They added oatmilk and agave to my kava and it tasted delicious. They are pet friendly and open from 11-11. The kratom tea is top notch. I had the Mr. T red Maeng Da. It delivered. The employees are super friendly and very informed. They gave us great suggestions. I'll definitely be back.

The skittles kava shots were delicious. The outside sitting area was super comfortable, and they had nice beats playing. Would definitely recommend this place.

They even have a rack in the back with donated apparel and accessories. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a chill place to hang out with friends.

It’s always a chill vibe at this kava bar. The people are super friendly and the drinks are relaxing. The kratom is wonderful for pain, especially muscle aches from workouts. It’s a great place to relax during happy hour and meet cool people. I would also recommend for those looking for a quiet place to work during the week as theirs nice tables in a cool indoor area.

The location was a little hard to find, but it was worth the search. The kratom is strong and reasonably priced. The place is mostly calm/quiet, making it a good place to work or read.

Cute, quaint, and trendy. I just popped in to check it out. I didn't buy anything. I will revisit and purchase something another time. The menu looked interesting and appealing. I happened to come across it and was curious to look inside to see what it was all about. It was a weekday, not too busy but just enough. Seems like a pleasant hangout alone or with friends. Truly the best kava in the whole south Florida! And the owners are cool too! The community is a bunch of artist and dancers and musicians! They a bit expensive but good service since they open at the little house! Keep it up

Nice ambient. Good music. It gets a 4 star because they didn't have Boba tea. Two employees told me its only on their menu for show and its not something they actually serve. They even have a TV advertising a girl drinking boba tea😑

I have been coming to this place for several years now. Their new location is quite homey, with a pleasant outdoor lounge. There are plenty of books, and board games to play. Products are A+, staff are great, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Great place to make new friends!

My friends invited me to a new hidden spot at Little River. I highly recommend it If you want to try something new and unusual. The service was exceptional, music and vibe just blends with the whole concept. Will definitely come back! Thank you Paola!

Great spot, the OG Kava bar in Miami, great atmosphere and vibe, potent House Kava, want to have a productive day try their white Mr t’s or if you want a chiller sensation go for green or red.

This place has the best vibe ever. It is a very chill environment with delicious Kava drinks. Parking is a little tight so plan for that. Also, they don’t serve food but there are food trucks right next to this place.

Amazing place. Recently I've had a tough life challenge with family, and I got great genuine customer service from the Security guard on deck...I forget his name...but he wears a good looking suit and genuinely was interested in how i was doing...that kind of genuine customer service is definitely a reason for me to return...it came right when I wanted to give up on my life....

I got food from Rutina Verde and it was amazing,however the Kava drinks from the Kava bar made my significant other and myself super sick for many hours. I hope you guys would have warned us about the side effects ;(. We will never get it again. It was the worst.
