SEWELL PARK IS OPEN AGAIN! After being closed for more than a year, it’s finally open. It’s a very relaxing park next to the Miami River. There are shaded seating areas and a play park for kids. It’s dog friendly and has poop bags and trash bins on site but no water stations. Parking is a bit limited and the area that was once available to launch kayaks is now blocked off. Great place to spend time nonetheless.

My dog likes this place, so I need to make this review. Besides of walking with your fella, the park is great for having your mind rest. Atmospheric spots, with the views on the river. Besides it's clean and taken care of.

We love this park. The kids love the playground and walking along the river. They also love exploring and discovering. This day, they decided to help clean up some trash that collected along the rocks.

Nice shaded park! We enjoyed this park with our 3 year old. 2 play structures with different types of climbing bars, slides, swings, musical play, see-saw, merry go round and lots of room to run around. Parking lot had about 10 spots of free parking. Ducks and rooster were running around. Picnic tables and benches by the water to view the passing boats. I didn’t see bathrooms but there were a couple porta potties in the parking lot. Plenty of trash cans. Will definitely visit again.

Great park with open space, a great playground, picnic benches, grills, and history. The nature reserve/gardens are locked up currently but just outside it are always cats, chickens and ducks. The park is right up against the Miami river. You can watch the bridge rise to allow ships through. I'd say this is a great place for kids and picnics, though beware some sections stay flooded after rains. Love it, it's a gem.

This park brings back lots of childhood NOSTALGIA and I just adore everything about it!!! The city has done a wonderful job remodeling it to make it kid friendly which my son enjoys very much!!! There is also lots of beautiful roosters around which I love so much because it reminds me of my dad(R.I.P.) There are also the cutest 🦝 family and sometimes I do bring them a few snacks so they can enjoy even though it's not recommended.

I like this park, it's very shady Forrest like atmosphere nd with the Miami River along it as well. The kids playground area could use some updating. It's been like that for many years small and old slides. Needs a bit of an update and some swings for the kids maybe. It's also a pet friendly but on a leash park. Just remember to grab a baggy on your way in to pick up behind your doggy.

Found this park one day killing time, waiting on my father to finish seeing a doctor. Worth a visit... Sit next to the river and watch boats go by, fish, playground for the kids, or just sit and relax.

Nice small park , you can sit near the river. there is no river fence ,then you have to keep your child a way from the river. The child play area located far away from the river.

Aside from the beautiful view, there's not much space to jog or anything comfortably. It's still a nice little park to visit.

A treasure of a spacious park in miami, only issue is closing time and locked gates also closed to kayaks and canoes.

Park is redone and we'll maintained. You have a big field overseeing the river. They keep it clean and nice. Every morning I see maintenance being done

Nice park next to Miami River. Has benches and some shaded areas. Place for kids to play. Close to river landing. Bring water because there is none here. Also, limited parking.

Cool park next to the miami river good for making parties or birthdays. Even to pic nic.. this park has a place to drop your jet ski or small boat to and from the river.
