This park has it's nice aspects, such as the exercise machines and the sidewalk that wraps around the entire perimeter of the park, making it ideal for jogging and extercise. Then there are negative things, such as no swings, no bathrooms, and the occasional presence of hoodlums. They actually specifically said no to a basketball court, when building this park, to avoid the presence of "future chalk line stencils", and these type of people still hang around from time to time. I know someone who had their bike stolen by four teenagers, in broad daylight. I also know someone who went to the playground with their kid and saw a female going down on a male, on the steps of the jungle gym. This park will improve as the demographic of the neighborhood slowly changes, as indicated by the increase in property value. But currently this is one of those parks that needs cameras, a security guard, and where you need to carry. That may sound excessive but it only takes one of these "statistics in training" to make you a victim and with Miami Dade Police, who show up two hours after you call, you need to be prepared to protect yourself.

This park is really small. There is no parking lot or restroom so if you don't live nearby, or know someone who does, it's probably not a good idea to come here. There are no swings, and the playground tends to get crowded. There are no picnic tables. However, it's a nice place to go for a walk or jog, and the playground equipment keeps the kids busy, and has a rubber surface, which is great. It's a nice place to play a game of soccer or throw a football. There is some exercise equipment here also.

Love the park because of its location. Sadly the park may become dangerous because of its location. If you see a little bit of people turn around and go back home because sadly the kids that live across the street from the park are young thugs in training. Today when I arrived with my daughter I saw four children (ages 12-15) bullying two hispanic boys. It got so bad they ran the boys out of the park. Do not let your children, regardless of age go to this park alone. The four children then came after my daughter, but when they saw me calling the cops they got scared and a family member yelled for them to get inside the house. It really is sad because it is a good park for a walk, but sadly we are in 2022 and must fear minors who can potentially turn into delinquents due to lack of parental supervision.
