Best Water park in our backyard! Today we decided to visit and believe me the kids enjoyed 100% the place was not packed at all , we had the best shade with the big umbrella! Lazy river was a hit and the water slide was wonderful for the kids. The only negative side for today the pool was closed due to maintenance, but it was not that important for my kids. The food was ok, not cheap but we enjoyed it. Highly recommended price wise is very good specially because we didn't have to drive too far away from home. Kids they had a blast! The bathrooms are super clean , the place was spotless and neat, and no garbage spotted! They have many lifeguard on duty in case of any incident, but Thanks God, nothing happened. Overall come to Grapeland Water park you won't regret the time.!

They announced the park was closed due to weather. Not even a thunderstorm yet, and when people went to the restrooms they were closed. There was not a single place to change your clothes. I arrived to the restrooms right when 2 associates were closing it, that had the key in their hands and when I asked them were to change clothes they said they were closed. I asked them about the key and they said that was the wrong key. There were people including myself changing clothes in front of everyone. I know it was closing because the weather, but really the restrooms? I am very disappointed and other guest that were changing around myself expressed their discomfort. To be honest, I don’t think I will come again, neither I will recommend it to anyone. I had to get almost naked to put on my clothes in front of everyone.

We love it. It has a lot of safeguards in all of the pools. There is a list of prohibited items at the door (no food and no floats unless approved by the coastguard). They have life vests available at no extra cost. It is affordable to get in. I took 3 kids: 2, 5 and 11 and all of them had a great time.

Super happy with this water park! I took my 6 yo and she was safe and really enjoyed it. I love that they have well fitting and comfy life jackets available and life guards throughout the area. Also great food and a lot of sitting areas. We will be back really soon! Oh and you can’t beat the price of entry!

Enjoyed myself as a single adult it definitely was awkward because this is a family park but it was fun for what it was worth!!! I do however feel they overcharge for entry fee which is $15 the park is so small it’s really not worth that much but hey whatever it still was nice!! A little dirty and germy but like I said it’s definitely a kids park!! Food trucks are definitely overpriced and food was so nasty I wasted 33 bucks and the food stand ppl are so rude only to Spanish ppl they are nice

We were at Miami airport for an 8-hour layover, and didn't want to be cooped up in an airport that entire time. Since this place was literally right next to it, we decided to take a cab over there to hang out for a bit. The google entry's hours said it was OPEN. Well we got there and they were not. Wasted a $20 cab ride to get there. I feel tricked. I go on the website and I see that it is not only closed, but it is only open for two months of the year, and only on saturdays and sundays. What the heck? You're wasting all of that real estate. That place could be a huge money-maker for the city of Miami, given that there are probably tons of us tourists that are only in the city for a little while, who want to stay close to the airport, and need a place to kill a couple of hours. What a waste!!!!!! Get it together!!

Inexpensive, small waterpark. Go earlier because it fills quickly, not recommended for kids below 3 years

OK let’s start with number one : The price is manageable the people that go there are a little questionable if you’re not used to Pork and beans or over town folks. The water pools are mostly for younger children Number two the food: I’ve heard others say the food is expensive, yes it is and the quantity is very little but it taste good and if you’re super hungry I suggest you eat before you go or after you leave only thing you should get is something to drink Number three: The lifeguards they are very young some of them have manners some of them are really rude I wish the parents had taught them better manners I think they need to hire a certain age because these kids today unfortunately most of them had no home training and I really feel like they just don’t want to get up in the morning to go to work and even if there is a difficult customer they need to know that for every action there’s a reaction

Our kids had a great time and there was very few people event though it was a Saturday during the summer! The key was we showed up while it was still raining and closed due to thunderstorms and waited in the parking lot until it opened back up. We basically had the park to ourselves for several hours until it closed.

This waterpark was pretty fun for the kids they all had fun I’m giving it a three stars because they have a height restriction for the slides they have which they don’t have that many of so I believe that if the children know how to swim they shouldn’t be an issue of them sliding they’re not even sliding into the pool it’s not even knee-high so that’s why I’m giving them a three stars I suggest you get there early to get a good shaded place the pricing is good they do have food there they have bathrooms with showers if you want to take a change of clothes

The park itself is amazing. Good people nice and clean. But the food vendors are simply en educated people. An old lady who sold me a frozen lemonade treat me like trash. Because I ask her for a lid. A simple lid. She told me that I have to speak to the owner of the place to give me a lid. And then she said this Latino people are spiders. In Spanish. Good place to go. But vendors are so en educated.

If you want to get in you need to get there before they open at 10 am and make the line. Due to Covid restrictions park is operating at half capacity and fills up by 11 am. We got there around 11:15 am and waited in line for a good 20 mins not knowing they had closed since they met capacity. They then told us that they needed 25 people to leave the waterpark to allow 25 more people to get in. LOL! Who goes to a waterpark for an hour and leaves? They should have announced they were closed as soon as they met there limit. Hopeful to go back one day once restrictions are lifted.

If it's your first time get there early. If you a regular leave some room for the first timers. Great space unfortunately, they are only open on the weekends. Maybe it's because of Covid and all the new standards.they would have really benefited from summer camps should they have opened Wednesday _ Sunday. Dedicating Wednesday and Thursday to camps alone would be great.

Kids really enjoyed the water slides. If there is any lightning within two hours of your arrival, you receive complimentary free tickets for another day

Great water park. Fun for small children. Nice facilities. But I had three issues: 1) They only had two cashiers, so it took a long time, in the hot sun, to get my tickets. And 2) They didn’t tell us when we bought the tickets that we could rent lockers, and you can’t rent one once inside. 3) You can’t buy tickets online.

First time visiting this water park, it was great for the most part. My 4 yr old loved it. There’s a side with slides for the smaller kids and a side for the bigger kids. Pool and lazy river for everyone. The only thing I didn’t like was the food. Not only was it over priced but it wasn’t even good. Sausage dog made me sick. $5 for school lunch slice of pizza. And they don’t allow any outside food not even water bottles. I suggest an early arrival because later in the day it gets very packed.

Clean, cheap. Couple slides broken and the main pool not open due to repairs, but my kids LOVED this place! Staff was nice as well. Storm rolled in and they closed, but issued rain checks. It's worth going for sure.

Went on 8/21 since online they say they’re open 10am-4:45pm. Arrived just for it to be closed. If your park is closed then make sure it says the correct information online, you guys will keep getting terrible reviews, as it should be. Idiots

The twins are OBSESSED with Grapeland! They prefer going here than the beach. No sand, no seaweed, no currents and rip tides, plenty of fun and games and slides and clear, clean water with a ton of life guards? You can see their point. This place is amazing!

We enjoyed it. Our favorite was lazy river. Doesn’t have a lot of slides for older kids . I would say it is for kids 8 years old or younger. It is affordable .

Fun place, but the whole place shut down for a lightning warning, and the staff was really rude. I get everyone has to go. However, there are better ways to do it.

Finally reopened again, just in time for the summer. Only gave it four stars because of the size of the park. Pretty good to be a dade county water park, just too small for the amount of people living in the area, plus people who come over to enjoy it as well. Capacity tops at 1000 people and it was filled right after i got in. I did enjoy the park. Had a great time. Just keep in mind this is south florida, its gonna be hot and sunny, 15 min latter its gonna rain like the sky its falling down on you, and park its going to be closed. Other than that, nothing to complaint. They have two slide areas, pool and lazy river. Ohhhhh, for now park only opens on weekends 10am to 4 pm.

The last time we visited this water park was back in 2016 and we have always loved it up until yesterday (7/31/22). I\we did not like the way it was set up..they had us wait in line..in the hot sun for over 30 mins before being able to enter..what they were doing was waitinh until a few people left & then allowing othes to go in..it was ridiculous..we lost so much time because of this. Then they only played spanish\Hispanic music as if that was the only race there..they need to be able to satisfy all guest\visitors. Then 15 mins before closing they made an announcement making everyone aware that if they needed to use the bathroom to go ahead & do so because they would be closing everything, so my kids headed to the bathroom and told me that once they got there the clean up lady (black) didn't want to let anyone in because they were cleaning up already so one of the fathers (Spanish) had to speak up and then she let everyone in..by this time I made it to the bathroom & we were only able to use 3-4 stalls because they had already cleaned the others, so we had to wait in a line AGAIN..smh..we couldn't even use the sink are, because they were cleaning them. The clean up lady (black) was stating that she was tired and had been there since 9am and was ready to leave at 5pm. That was so unprofessional to tell us. That was not our problem. Although we enjoyed the water & slides, we may not ever come here again.

I really love this water park but it's always closed I've gone there like once and I loved it but it's super annoying to go there and it's all closed I wish it was also open on the weekdays because sometimes it's also not open on the weekends and it's kind of getting annoying otherwise the food and places are overall clean.

Hope they open more than 2 months out of a year, my son loved water park but there isn’t many in Miami this big and close, when they open it was long wait but it’s worthwhile.
