Amazing food & drinks! Very Creative and flavorful vegan cuisine. Portions were perfectly filling. Our server was very sweet and as accommodating as possible. Decor was lively and colorful. However I Had to knock off 2 stars because the wait time for our food was incredibly long (Especially for a taco place, even more so for VEGAN) and our whole party of 9 was served at different intervals of time. So, while a couple people had already finished their apps AND entrees the rest of us were still waiting for ours to come out of the kitchen. We spent a total of 2 lengthy hours there from start to finish. Management was kind enough to offer us 10% off of our bill.

Charly's is a 100% vegan restaurant and It took me some time to convince my meat-loving family to join me. However, their reaction was priceless. The food was incredible, best nachos I've ever had (counting the non vegans I've had before going vegan) and delicious options that awakened nostalgia from my childhood, the "Plátano asado" is great if you like sweet platain and the "Elote" was another pleasant surprise. Tacos and burritos were great but I can't stress enough how much I loved the nachos, honestly don't miss those. Finally, for desert you HAVE to get the strawberry and soursop cheesecake, again, the best cheesecake I've had even counting the non vegans I've had. It is definitely my favorite desert now, credits to Pamela Wasabi's bakery for her presence at Charly's. If you like chocolate, don't miss the tiramisu! Location wise, this vegan paradise is in the heart of Wynwood making it a pleasant option to walk around and check out the art and murals, not to mention it's quite alive at night. About covid-19, this restaurant was very clean, digital menu option, masks required till you sit and overall I felt very comfortable. This is a rather extensive review but I think it's the least I can do after being so nicely attended by the amazing staff and discovering such amazing vegan options. I'm quite sad I didn't get to try the "avocado fries" and I will definitely dream about those nachos and cheesecake for a while. All this said, give this place a chance, you won't be disappointed!

Honestly over-priced, underwhelming vegan tacos, lack luster crumbled nachos. Understand that this was ordered at 5 o clock on a super dead Friday evening. This was almost 95% of our nachos, and the tacos were laughably small. I’m talking silver dollar sized. The flavor of everything was good but the execution, presentation, and price is typical in the wynwood area. Sell this late night junk food to drunk idiots who don’t care but not at 5 o clock on a dead Friday evening during COVID. This is an awful representation of vegan food. Stay clear.

The waiter took our order but after more than 40 minutes we had to ask if there was something wrong with our order (we had a feeling they never put our order in because tables who sat down after we placed our order had already gotten their food). They said our food was on its way, but it took about 20 more minutes to get 3 out of the 4 plates out. By the time the 3 people in our table had finished their food the 4th dish was still not out. Long story short, after waiting a bit more we told them we rather leave than wait for the last dish. They never admitted to making a mistake or tried to make up for it in any way. The carnal burrito that we did get was mostly rice and beans. Not worth it. The bill was wrong, they charged us for two margaritas, but we ordered 2 for 1 during their happy hour. They corrected it. To be fair, the tacos were good. We ordered the carnitas and the Yuba tacos.

Little bit of food, for wayyyy to much money. Mini Tacos for $12.00! Like wow... and $8.00 for 1 street corn. I understand that vegan eating isn’t cheap. But you gotta do better with the food. Like why don’t you even offer a side of chips with the tacos or burritos $16.00 “that came out burnt because it was pressed to hard.” . So we left and came to another “taco stand” in wynwood. Disappointed smh

I want to start by saying, to all my meat loving friends, don't let the "vegan" deter you from checking this joint out! Hand pressed tortillas? YES PLEASE! The flavor profiles were on point. The tacos and Diablo Burrito were all delicious and filling! The effort that went into authentic taste should not be over looked!! I love meat and Mexican food, And I definitely will go for this plant based deliciousness everytime I'm in the area! Fantastic! As a side note, our server (Nicole) was pleasant and very knowledgeable!

I want to give this place 5 stars for the taste and service. So good! The waitress was very attentive and helpful. The food was fresh, unique and the flavor was fantastic. Only downside was the size of the plates. I'll add a picture of the tacos for reference, but it definitely isn't a "eat until you're full" type place to eat while on a budget. But the little details and taste beckon another visit.

All foods are vegan 🌱 Not being 100% vegan myself, I was a little skeptical to how some of my favorite types of food (tacos) might taste with meat substitutes... all I have to say is, you don´t have to be vegan to appreciate these tacos! We got a few different ones and they were all very tasty and had distinct flavors which is important to me. When I went, Nicole, was our server and really walked us through the menu and even shared some of her favorites - which also became my favorites. All the staff was super helpful. I got the Corn Elote, the three miami special tacos, the avocado appetizer, and for dessert I got the passion fruit cheesecake. I can’t wait for my next visit to Wynwood to try more items off the menu! Ps. They change the dessert menu often but if they have the passion fruit cheesecake - get it! You won’t regret it 🤤

Centrally located in Wynwood, this Vegan joint is the jam! They serve popular Mexican dishes, with a vegan twist. Their menu is a bit on the pricey side, but as of this writing, if you share pictures on social media mentioning their establishment, they'll hook it up with 20% off the tab (I'll gladly take it). I had the Platano Asado to start. The thing I found most savory was their toasted pepita's spread all over. Hard to describe, but that's actually what made the Platano stand out so much. Main entré was the "El Carnal" Burrito, which was surprisingly satisfying and left me full. My one and only complaint about Vegan foods, is how much more you'd have to eat in order to feel satisfied. This met and exceeded all of my expectations and was absolutely delicious. Can't recommend that particular burrito enough! If you're a lover of the spicy foods, then you'd be enamored with this one! And finally, the desert. The Cinamon Cacao Tiramisu...mannnn if I wasn't getting ready for a marathon, I would've destroyed 3 of those bad girls! So so sweet, but not over the top. "Perfectly balanced, as all things should be" All in all, I'd highly recommend this place, their great customer service and simple, yet all around great menu. In a place where there's an plethora of independent restaurants to choose from, you won't be let down by this one. Disclaimer: I'm not a vegan

It's always nice to eat at a vegan restuarant without having to ask if it's vegan! Cvt didn't disappoint! The tostones & the quinoa slaw they sat atop were delicious & the elote was tasty. We ordered a variety of tacos but it seems that my faves were the porkless ones which were the salsa verde & the prensado. The tacos are corn tortillas with a much milder corn tortilla taste. I am not a corn tortilla fan so I was grateful that these weren't over bearing. The margarita was also good but not made sweet like most margaritas I'm used to getting. I'd definitely return to CVT.

I'll be the first to say that I was skeptical when trying a Vegan Taco spot, as I am not myself vegan. However, Charlys Vegan Tacos will make you forget all things meat. Each taco is bursting with fresh ingredients, full of flavor. You know that they are made with passion and that each one us beautifully constructed to leave your taste buds soaring. The Tiramisu dessert is a must and the Elotes are also a fun and yummy way to start the meal

I really enjoyed my meal at Charly's on Saturday 10/3/2020. The hostess that greeted me was welcoming. The Server that served me was very friendly & knowledgeable of the menu. The Margs (margaritas) were bottomless & delicious! 2 was plenty! The Avocado Fries were good. The Smoked Portabella Mushroom Taco was yummy as well as the Yuba Carnitas. The Vegan Tiramasu was perfect. The portion sizes are just right. I will definitely come back.

Went out to dinner here for the first time the other night.. but definitely won't be our last. Hands down the best Mexican food I've ever had the pleasure of trying. I got the Charly's Signature Tacos, my girlfriend got the Carne Sin Carne, and we shared of plate of nachos . We don't even live in the area but can say without a doubt it's worth the drive. 100% would recommend anyone check this place out if you haven't already!!

A great, delicious vegan staple in Miami. The tacos and burrito were good but the standout was the nachos, wow! New favorite.

The shake was definitely good but this place is too pricey! I got the beyond burger and it was pretty good but small for $13. We also got a side of sweet potato fries for $5 which were also such a tiny portion.

We were in the Wynwood area for business and decided to try Charly’s as a healthy option. I am so happy we decided to give them a try. Their food is OUTSTANDING!!! We have eaten at quite a few vegan restaurants over the years and this place by far was my favorite! We ordered the Nachos Machos as an appetizer and it was fantastic! The serving size was plenty for me and my wife and it was bursting with flavor and a variety of textures. For our beverage, we had the fresh strawberry-soursop juice. The juice was refreshing and flavorful. For our meal, I ordered the “Meat Lovers” burrito and the wife ordered 3 tacos (Chorizo, Carne Asada, and Smoked Portobello). Don’t let the names fool you, everything is vegan. The burrito was off the chain delicious! The fresh ingredients, seasoning, and textures were all on point. Same with the tacos... flavor explosion. There was ample outdoor seating with shade provided by large umbrellas. It was a classic South Florida day and very hot/ humid but luckily there was enough of a breeze and shade to make it comfortable. If you are ever in Wynwood, I highly recommend Charly’s! Even if you are not vegan, they food is amazing and you will not be disappointed. Oh yeah, our server was Nicole and she was great... very friendly, attentive, and had a great personality & attitude! Very happy customer and we will be back for sure #supportlocalbusinesses #veganrestaurant

I went for my favorite item on the menu: mushroom ceviche. They don’t have it anymore. Ok, I understand with covid most places reduced their menus. So we ordered a non-spicy burrito and quesadilla. Both came spicy. Quesadilla was super salty. We were very clear that we didn’t want mild, but zero spicy. Then we figured we’d sweeten the experience with dessert. Well, today their deliver failed and they had none of the only two options in the menu. A total disaster. Not coming back.

It was nothing spectacular. The Vegan Nachos were great but the tacos were a disappointment. The service was good. I would recommend this place.

Perhaps it was an off night but I was not impressed. The food was mediocre at best. Way overpriced however considering the location they do have to pay rent. Service could have been better had Fiona concentrated on the matter at hand and been more attentive. Received stale chips with guacamole for $13 which was brazen on Charly's part. Glasses of water for the table was served AFTER the meal...who does this? The best thing was the cheese cake which had soursop in it and it was delicious. Not sure if I would go back, maybe as a last resort.

Out of all the vegan restaurants in Miami I’ve tried this was by far the best food. The chef clearly puts his heart and soul into the food preparation. In terms of pricing its spots on for Wynwood. I recommend the restaurant for anyone who loves Mexican food regardless of whether or not you are vegan you’ll appreciate the food here.

Amazing amazing aaaaaamazing. I can’t express how awesome this place is. If you’re thinking about coming here just do it, you won’t be disappointed. Not only is the food on point but the service is great! Our server Peter made the experience so much better. He was so nice and attentive, also gave great recommendations on what to try. I will definitely be coming back. Diner: Nachos : Tacos the best was the carnitas taco

Whether you’re vegan or not, this place is delicious! All of their dishes are finger licking good! (Yes, a lot of them, such as the tacos and burritos, you will eat by hand and will find the need to lick them 😜! ) The space is very nicely decorated, with a relaxed yet trendy atmosphere that makes you feel comfortable and welcome! The only minus is that it can be quite pricey, so it is one of those places you will need to reserve for special occasions... Highly recommended!

Good vegan tacos. Limited outdoor seating. The time (late evening) I visited a lot of the appetizers on the menu were unavailable, which was unfortunate.

The food was good! Nachos awesome, carne asada tacos delicious and the best was the meat lovers burrito. My only complaint is the service, we were not greeted, seemed confusing me asking if we can sit and saying to the staff good evening how are you tonight?? Naturally I was giving hints, I really wanted to leave but we were too hungry, I noticed I wasn’t the only one confused about the seating. They should work on that for sure.

Me and my fiancé actually stumbled upon this place and it was soo good!! We got the carne asada tacos and they were absolutely amazing and sooo delicious. Our waitress was Fiona and she was so attentive and was hands down one of the best waitresses I’ve had In a while.

I was in Miami this weekend and decided to stop by Charly’s for dinner with my boyfriend. I already can’t wait to go back! The restaurant is so beautiful, it’s a perfect spot for date night. The restaurant is also located right in Wynwood next to Gramps, so it’s also a great spot to hit up before or after enjoying some of the night life that Wynwood has to offer. I loved everything I tried from the mango guacamole, the spicy margarita, the carne asada tacos, and the soursop cheesecake! Yes, EVERYTHING is vegan—and the staff is very passionate about their ingredients. This is really a great spot and I am so happy to see vegan food so accessible in a popular area. Do yourself a favor and check out Charly’s for some great Mexican food that is not only delicious but cruelty free!

These are nothing like real tacos should be. Very little food for way too much money. Food is awful, no flavor whatsoever.

This place is delicious! even if you are not Vegan you will definitely enjoy it! this is not your typical taco place, so don't expect cheap $$ menu bot totally worth it. It's definitely a place to go when you want to have a nice Mexican Tacos, the Nachos are out of this world!

Charley's is really delicious. It is a bit pricey but so is everything else is Miami. The music and atmosphere is also very enjoyable. I recommend this place 10/10.

If you enjoy having dinner in a loud club it’s for you. (We came at 8pm) Everything was SUPER overpriced and the tacos are literally big enough for two bites. Overall the food taste was very good but too expensive and I could barely hear myself think.
