The food was outstanding. Every single dish we ordered was made to perfection with its own unique flavor. The restaurant is gorgeous and it definitely is very trendy. Amazing cocktails! The service was good but my only disappointment was the lack of detail to make a birthday special. Something to celebrate the special night would have really set this experience to another level. The waiter was pushing dessert from the menu which rubbed us the wrong way. I don’t find that to be a very big expectation but small details do go a long way. Be prepared to wait for your table even though you made a reservation. We did find it confusing when the waiter said the entrees were family sized and made for sharing. That part we did not find to be true and also messed us up when deciding what to order since we had that in the back of our mind so we wouldn’t order too much food for us two.

Amazingly Beautiful Restaurant. The food is Southeast Asian plates and taste wonderful. We tried many dishes. We are a party of 7, and we spent $125 each. I think it is worth the money if you are looking for a spectacular atmosphere once in a while. It's definitely a place for a romantic night 😍

If are you looking for a place to absolutely WOW you with food and drinks, than you have chosen correctly. The atmosphere is so unique, every section of the restaurant has a different element to it. The service was excellent! Shout out to server Stephen for an unreal experience and the fantastic recommendations. If you are in Miami, this is definitely a spot to put on your list. We will most definitely be back! Highly recommend. ☺️

Great time with friends at this trendy restaurant. It had a great vibe with lots of energy. The first thing you notice when you enter the restaurant is all the crispy Peking duck hanging in the front window. The restaurant was busy but organized. The food was flavourful and great for sharing. We enjoyed the different dishes but highly recommend the Peking duck tacos as they appear to be a specialty. The waitress was helpful with regards to clarifying the menu and making suggestions.

Dining experience was good. Our host was Roberto. He gave us some good food choices to try. My favorite was the skirt steak... then the ribs.. The ribs and fry chicken was good as well but the sauce used was a tab bit salty. The venue has indoor and outdoor seating. Valet parking in $15.

Komodo restaurant holds a special place in our hearts and taste buds! Their Peking duck and short rib dishes are extraordinary—succulent and bursting with flavor. We've cherished this restaurant as a birthday tradition because it's simply the best in Miami. The ambiance, service, and exquisite cuisine make every visit memorable, and we look forward to celebrating here for years to come. 🎉🍽️

This is a trendy Asian spot. I enjoyed the food. The best part of the restaurant is the ambience however. They play music like its a club. I would make a deliberate trip to return the next time I visit Miami. The Ribs were a phenomenal appetizer and I enjoyed the steak immensely.

I don’t think waiter likes his job. We weren’t a big demanding group, just my girlfriend and I with not one special request but still his attitude was something you’d see at a Denny’s from an employee who’s been there hating their job for 30 years. Food was very good tho!

While the atmosphere and look were super well done, the food lacked what we were expecting for an upscale restaurant. One of the signature dishes, Money Bags, was a great photo but the taste was not there. Unfortunately it’s the only photo I took, but the two highlights for us were the steak tacos and the rock shrimp. We were told the wagyu dumplings recipe changed a few days ago and while we didn’t have it previously, we were not a fan of the new recipe. The ribs were decent but nothing special. Also, if you go on a Friday night I highly recommend 7pm with a reservation. When we left at 8:30 it was completely packed with people waiting at the bar, at the hostess stand, and out the door in line. Be warned you may be seated outside. It was beautiful but hot if you’re not right under a fan. We were lucky the tables in our area weren’t full yet so we could move to one with a fan directly on us.

Quite the experience here , the interior of the restaurant is beautiful, looks like a jungle inside with multiple levels , the staff are all very professional and attentive. For how surprisingly busy it was , apps and entree's came out quick . The food , was amazing , we had a party of 10 and ordered a lot of food, the duck , short rib and lobster apps were phenomenal, I don't think there was a single thing we ate that we didn't love. You will 100% need a reservation in advance . Over all best food we had this weekend .

Extremely excited and looked forward to eating here for my wife’s birthday. All of our dishes were spectacular, the server and all the crew were very nice and on top of things. Let me be clear, I was happy, my wife was happier. This is Miami, so I know how things work with an establishment that’s very popular and busy. I have one small issues and just a heads up to future guests. They do play music inside (I’m very aware that they have a lounge/dance area) it can be somewhat loud. I’m never a fan of having to talk loud while eating at any place upscale. Again, this place is great, it’s also very busy. If you are wanting a relaxing, take your time restaurant — this isn’t it. Again it’s Miami, it’s Brickell. I know what I’m getting, and ultimately was pleased.

This lounge was horrible. Literally the worst going out experience of my life. If I could give it 0 stars I would. It was genuinely tiny, the bouncers were so rude, the line was suffocatingly long for two hours, and once we finally got in, we were charged literally $20 for a shot that we did not choose (aka we were scammed). AFTER buying drinks we were forcibly kicked out of the club. And we are very much of age. If you’re going to Miami, go to a real club.

Garbage club lounge. Security major losers. Place is a joke so small. Save your money. At least have a terrace balcony. Major design fail.

Cute and trendy spot. Long wait times even with reservation. Waiting area can be overwhelming with many people. Dragon Sushi was delicious. The cocktails were tasty and thirst quenching. The course meal Korean fried chick and spicy beef was very flavorful. The cotton candy desert completed the meal with an elegant touch.

$100 tab for a few drinks and they refused to serve me a glass of water with my order. They told me they had to charge me for bottles of water because they were being watched on camera. 2 mini bottles for $18 with mandatory 23% gratuity. I understand that there's enough demand that you can plausibly get away with doing things like this to customers however, that doesn't make it right.

Really good. The vibe overall and good service. I went there as they had Miami Spice menu which was great and quite affordable. For sure a recommended place to spend the evening and get some good food in you. High recommend the dim sum as starter and the beef jerk! Both simply flavorful. Another thing is the presentation of the dishes. TOP! Last tip - Miami Spice menu highly recommended.

Wow! Definitely worth the money. I my wife and I loved it. I can't even tell you how good the Duck was. It is definitely a place you will spend some money. But the value is there. All of the food is high quality and the portions are incredible. Worth every penny. Make sure you you make a reservation.

Don’t choose a late reservation on a Saturday if you don’t want to wait. We went on a Saturday night. Had 10:30pm reservations (we were late got there at 10:45 ish) we got seated at 12am, you must be wondering (why are you giving them a 5 star review ) it was worth the wait. The bar downstairs is great to get drink and relax until your table is ready. We had about close to 60 people waiting with us. (No one argued). Our food was delicious. The service was amazing, they have 3 floors and a short but cute dragon show. Would go back at an earlier time to experience it without the wait.

Waiter helping us was definitely not in the mood. 1) we received wrong items we didn’t order 2) no presentation or item name was given whatsoever (you know how in good restaurants you’ll be told “here’s Peking duck with sauce”? Not the case here). We were a group of 10, so I couldn’t tell if it was my dish I ordered or someone else’s. 3) Half of the table’s drink order was taken and then the guy disappeared for 10 mins before taking while groups order. Restaurant does not split items so for bigger groups be aware. I know it’s a thing in the US, but I also have been to restaurants in Miami where they’ll split your bill at lest into 3-4 for bigger groups. Food was average. I paid $600 US for 2 people (drinks +food+tax+tips) but I don’t think it was worth it. Design and cocktails were great though. They also take dress code seriously for men (no shorts, tank tops etc). I’ll visit the restaurant once again to ensure my review is fair. But seeing other comments of poor service,it seems to be an issue.

One of the best restaurants I've ever eaten. I recommend you do a reservation in advance otherwise you might wait hours for a table. Bar was packed, not seats available. Cocktails were outstanding. I had the ginger one and I loved it ($18). For dinner we had the house specialty, which is the Peking Duck ($115) . It was the best Duck I've ever had. Not even in France, famous for their Duck dishes, I've eaten such a tasty one. And the best thing, it's enough for 2 or 3 people, ideal for sharing. The bill for both us was $235 including the drinks and the appetizer. Kind of pricy but worth every penny. I'd say that's the media here , if you are looking to have a special night and great food in Miami.

Went 9:30pm on a Saturday night and it was VERY crowded. Minimum 2hrs wait for seating, and they want you all to cramp by the small bar area while you wait. I should preface this by saying that this was also Valentine's and Superbowl weekend, so that could've been a contributing factor for them being 200 people above capacity (a RESTAURANT .... during COVID). Anyway, I waited outside and literally only stayed about 40 minutes, because the food was such a salty mess and I got a headache. I gave it 3 stars because it have cool devor and it's probably a decent dining experience when they're not trying to cram the place. Don't think I'll ever go back though.

The food was good but pricey. The portions are not that big either and the mains don’t come with sides, you’d have to order it separately. Overall, the vibe is great and I can see this as a spacial occasion type of place. We celebrated my friend’s birthday and brought a cake however it’s $8/person for the corkage fee. There is valet parking for $20.

Although nicely designed, I don't know why this place is popular?! The place can't accommodate groups of 8 plus. We were all seated in a booth big enough for 5 and the busboy and waiter were constantly coming to see if we are done eating because they wanted take away the dishes we had so they can't bring more food we ordered but there was no place on the table. The table was all sticky and it felt so dirty and since we were seated outside, the noise of the passing cars and motorcycles was so annoying. To sum it all: not recommended, not coming back!

Beautiful place, very busy, lively ambiance and music. About food… we ordered lobster dynamite and beef tacos, both very good. Then the Peking Duck ($108!!) and Special fried rice both very disappointing and bland, not to mention the ridiculous high price for a plain roasted bird. The dessert was the Komodo bar which was good. Overall very expensive place, with nothing that wowed me to justify the price!

Awesome spot and probably the best atmosphere for a going out kind of night. Service was great, my only complaint was the portions. I was pretty disappointed in the size of the tacos we got for apps for I think $20+. I was expecting 2 normal sized tacos or maybe even 3, but it was 2 tacos that I could fit in the palm of my hand, lol. Other than that, amazing food, service, and great atmosphere. Definitely appeals more to the adult crowd, wouldn’t do a family dinner here. Cool experience for me and my friends.

The food here is outstanding. I was there for a private dinner. The service was good. A couple service notes - when one server was pouring our wine he used his hand to wipe the lip - AKA catch the drip and not use a serviette and another time came out smelling like weed. We all commented on that part. I didn’t want to point out him using his hand. The restaurant is huge and very beautiful

I decided to book a reservation here for my birthday because I had heard so many great things, but my experience was very disappointing. I made a reservation for 8:30pm, but my party and I arrived 15-20 minutes late due to overwhelming traffic in the area. I called ahead of time to let the restaurant know and the hostess said that I would most likely have to wait a little bit after arriving, which I understood. When I got there, I was almost immediately turned off. This place was PACKED. There were so many people standing around the entrance, all packed in like sardines. It almost looked like a club. Once I got to the front and checked in, the hostess (who was very nice) told me to stand by the bar and they would come get me once the table was ready, which was surprising to me because there were SO MANY people standing around waiting. After about 15 minutes, I went back to ask if my table would be ready soon and was approached by the security guard. He was very pleasant in trying to explain to me about the process of waiting, but the second hostess was extremely rude. When I asked her if there was a timeframe she could give me, she very rudely said “ there is no timeframe”. I was amazed because I had made a reservation. I expected to wait because I had been late, but her attitude and tone were very uncalled for. I had to hold my tongue because it was a birthday celebration and I did not want my night to be ruined. Once I told her my name, she said that my ticket was there and someone would be with me in 5 minutes. 5 minutes ended up being another 15 minutes. When we were finally called, the walk to our table was ridiculous. Not only did we have to walk all the way outside and around the restaurant, but we had to walk up two sets of stairs to get to the smallest table outside on the roof. I was EXTREMELY disappointed when I saw this. I understand that a lot of restaurants don’t necessarily go the extra mile for birthdays, but this was way below my expectations. We were seated in the dingiest high chairs that were very narrow and very uncomfortable for myself and especially for the two thicker women who were with me. I am not a person who likes to be seated outside and it was no different here. It was sooo humid and I had to fan myself several times throughout the night. Even with this, my guests and I decided to make the best of the experience because it was still a celebration and we found enjoyment in three things (1) each others company (2) our server, Gianni, who was very pleasant and attentive, as well as the gentleman who assisted him and (3) the food. I cannot deny that the food was delicious. All together, we ordered the beef dumplings, Chinese ribs, Korean fried chicken, spicy steak, king crab lo mein, veggie fried rice, five Miami coladas as our drinks and one cheesecake for dessert. There were 3 in our group and the bill came up to $465, which included an 18% gratuity fee. I also tipped Gianni $40 and paid $20 for valet plus tip. Gianni absolutely deserved his tip, but I expected a better experience overall for the amount that this place charges. I go to a different restaurant every year for my birthday and Komodo was the most lackluster experience I’ve ever had. Needless to say, I will not be going back unless invited by someone else.

We had a great time here. The level of service surprised us, as well as the details to make our wedding anniversary a night to remember. Excellent knowledgeable waitress Angelica who was very helpful both with food and drink selection process as well as we had a nice chat with a Brazilian server. The foot and drinks themselves are excellent and since we had early table so it's more quiete with nice music but not too loud so perfect for our occasion. The desert had our wedding anniversary year decorated a very nice surprise, and multiple servers seemed to know our special day which was cool. Of course given our choice if plates it's not cheap but well worth it and the menu also has enough options for a more conventional evening too. Some places are all about people watching and see and be seen etc, and not so much about providing great culinary experience so we were glad Komodo offers both options. Recommended!

Remember if you go here that they won’t seat you until everyone in your party is present. The dinner vibes are nice and more chill than the later scene. We enjoyed the cocktails here. Portions here are quite small, even for things like fried rice. The soy salmon was popular at the table. We don’t think the sea bass is worth it. The fried chicken was good but not like Korean fried chicken that I’ve had. The restaurant does a nice job of ordering and serving food quickly. We disliked how there was a bathroom attendant with a QR code for Venmo/cash app but a completely broken soap dispenser and wish that the restaurant would pay to repair the dispenser rather than pay someone to stand in the bathroom to hand you paper towels.

OK, so Komodo wasn't what I expected it to be. Loved the vibe and atmosphere. The food taste wise was good. I can't complain about the taste. But...the portions to price ratio is out of hand. The pictures are probably bigger than what the items actually were. I get they were small plates or starters but damn.... I was told that the steak I had, even though it was not labeled as such, I was told it was filet mingon. I doubt it thought. Still tasty but I paid a lil less for an actual filet mingon at mortons and it was awesome. The dumblings were the size of 2 dollars worth of quarters maybe smaller. I get there are places that serve tint portions like this but komodo is not one of those places. Drinks are over priced as well. Like I paid 20 bucks a pop for a Jack and coke...... A jack and coke. I understand their specialty cocktails all day every day. But Jack and coke??? I was shocked. When 2 of those and 2 redbull vodkas (titos) were over 80bbucks alone. I'm not cheap by any means but it's kind of a rip. Aside from that, this place had great decor, it was sexy, and just had a great vibe. We ended up going to the lounge after where they tried to charge all the guys 100 bucks a pop. We literally told them we just spent a lot of money downstairs and they let us go through after the manager said it was cool. But $100??? Come on be real. Not even LIV charges that much. It was a fun (little)lounge. There are nice things to this place but it honestly feels like a cash grab. It's hard for me to recommend this place. OK experience but the price of things aren't justified. I felt like I got bent over. And I hate feeling that way after trying a new spot. Especially one that is considered "higher end" I've been in real high end spots that didn't charge as much as they do. But if you do try it, you'll be pleasantly surprised by the flavors. Good luck. Oh, almost forgot. The wait staff was good, no issues there But!!!! This irked me so much. We had a big group. And they only let u split it by 3 groups. They should really train the staff to say that at the beginning. Or when we make reservations to mention that or if they do it online that they have a notice saying they don't split bif groups. It was such a mission.

I loved this place, I chose my table outside on the terrace and it was a nice experience, but the tables that are on the high levels seemed the most striking to me, they look like interwoven nidis, it is really very pleasant outside, and the weather was spectacular, it was a wonderful evening. Congratulations 👏🏼 to the chef and the work team 👏🏼 who took great care of us. Me encantó un lugar muy agradable, con un ambiente acogedor, con un delicioso y exquisito menú, buen servicio 👌🏼 y la terraza mi lugar favorito. 😉

The food was pretty good. The service wasn’t the best. We requested a change of glasses and utensils multiple times due to dingy unclean appearance. Even in the dim setting we could see this. The French connection was a great way to start things off. The 3 course dinner special was adequate and fairly priced for the quality of food. The atmosphere is like a Miami meets Talum and Japan aesthetic.

Komodo was a nice fancy restaurant. My wife and I had a 9:30 reservation, we had to wait in a line for bout 20mins to walk in, talk to the hostess to have to wait another 15mins, for a reservation we ready had. Food came out fairly quick. Food was superb, good tasting meals my wife and I had. Would I come back, maybe.

Komodo Lounge is located upstairs of the Komodo restaurant. It’s a great spot, featuring unique decor on the walls that light up the room! There’s room to sit down amongst couches as well as room to get up and dance to the music the dj plays. The staff were able to keep up with the exciting atmosphere. Cocktails are a must!

Large restaurant with indoor seating and a large roofed outdoor seating area. We sat outdoor. Decor has plants, wicker accents and feels airy. There are pods of tables above with seating as well. The drinks pour strong but everything is good. We tried various small dishes, no entrees, and as seen in the attached pictures, everything tasted very good. The servers are very attentive, dressed fashionable and smile. As far as the dress code goes: I saw mostly nice casual clothing, one or two sparkly dresses, dress shorts, ball caps, saw one guy wearing a tshirt, ball cap with sunglasses on it. The reservation was for 6pm and we happened to get there at 530pm and got seated right away. I still would recommend reservations because I was expecting to have to wait, just based on what others had told me.

Need five more stars to be fairly rate this place. Simply the best food I've had on a long time. FOOD was simply DELICIOUS Pork Sticky Ribs were delicious, and fell off the bone, a combination of flavors that melt in your mouth to create a perfect balance of unique flavors. Short Ribs melt in my mouth, and the flavor was beyond anything I've tasted before. Perfectly marinated, cooked to perfection, one of the best dishes I've ever had. King Crab noodles were delicious and I was able to taste the sweetness of the meat on every bite. Fried rice, was delicious as well. Decor and vibe was upbeat and classy, beautiful walls and lest talk about the AMAZING service. Waiters were literally waiting to clean the table if we dropped anything, and pour water immediately as needed. Fully recommend this place. Pricey $$$ but completely word it.

Incredible. Most amazing plates I’ve ever tried. We got like 4 different appetizers, the fried rice, the Peking duck, and two desserts done everything was top tier. My favorites were the salmon tacos and the lobster dynamite. The ambiance of the place is a completely different experience from that of a normal restaurant—it’s like a mixture of a luxury restaurant, a lounge, and a club. The service was impeccable as well.

Great service. Great food. Nice ambiance. Avan (sorry if we misspelled the name) was amazing. He made our first time experience worth it. His recommendations were on point. A definitely “go back” spot. Yes, a bit pricey, not an everyday hang out.

Food was A+. We took a tour of the entire menu and I was super impressed with everything. The seeting outside wasn't too humid, the other patrons looked good and well dressed. The ladies playing hostess were all gorgeous so that helped with the overall experience. Price can be a little steep but it's worth the experience.

Everything about our experience was amazing! Our waitress was so kind and helpful. She made me a perfect cocktail after I described what I like. I got the dynamite lobster appetizer which was so delicious and crispy. But the best part of my dinner was the Peking duck. It was hands down the best duck I've ever tasted. It melts in your mouth. I will 100% be back and recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a meal that leaves them speechless start to finish!!

One of my favorite stops in Miami. We chose this place after looking into all of the higher end restaurants in the area. I booked it for the ambiance, and it definitely met my high expectations. We ordered a bunch of the waiter’s recommendations and everything was amazing. The salmon tacos were my favorite. Service was great and they even brought out a mochi dessert for our anniversary. Would definitely come back next time I’m in Miami.

Amazing restaurant! Loved the atmosphere, music, and the food!! Sushi was very fresh and delicious! Our server, Gilbert, was super friendly and made sure everything was perfect! As a bonus we saw Connor McGregor there!!! Highly recommended! Also 2 words: Tres Leches!! DO NOT LEAVE WITHOUT TRYING IT!!

ALL GLORY TO THE PORK RIBS. Cancel your plans, and go to this restaurant and get the pork ribs. If they're not open, camp outside until they give you pork ribs. I would show you a picture of them, but I couldn't think about anything else while the pork ribs were in front of me, so this picture taken after the spell was broken will have to do.

Went here for my third wedding anniversary and was a fantastic choice! Great energy, some of the best food we’ve ever had, and they also brought us a custom anniversary dessert. The wagyu dumplings were worth every penny.
