A good PARODY of a Greek restaurant. Olive oil in a GREEK restaurant made in Turkey?? Do you seriously think that all your clients are idiots? It's not olive oil, terrible taste. The food is unreasonably expensive. There are many Greek restaurants in Miami with much better food quality and much lower prices. My waitress was without a name tag with red short hair (wearing glasses). She "kindly" swept the crumbs off my table onto my lap at the end of the meal. I do not recommend going to this place.

Lovely Greek restaurant! Went with a large group of friends and ordered to share which was perfect. We were able to try a bunch of appetizers - we loved the baked feta and Greek Meze sampler. For entrees, we got the mussels and the whole fish which is a must! Service was a bit slow but very friendly, seems like they were understaffed. Ambience is chilled, great for groups and families. Prices are on the higher end. Would definitely recommend!

This is the best Greek restaurant I’ve ever been to in my life. I highly recommend you make a reservation and enjoy this magnificent dining experience. The food is top notch quality, light, and just delicious. This has became my top-five restaurant in Miami. The atmosphere is just amazing! Can’t wait to come here at night for a date when it’s candle lit with the lights.

Niche restaurant with a nice energy. Greek and Turkish samplers were terrific. I loved the hummus and olives. The bread and pita paired nicely. The lamb was really good. It was cooked well with plenty of flavor. The chicken kabob was juicy with a smoky flavor(really good). I loved the rice. The beef was a little dry, but the grilled vegetables were delicious. Service was lacking, though.

I can't keep saying, "this is one of my favorite places in Miami," BUT this is one of my favorite places in Miami. My wife and I are 'foodies' and this is the best Turkish / Greek food we've had in the USA. The complete menu is crafted from the most select spices and ingredients to create the perfect dish. Even the appetizer had more thought put towards the dish than most restaurants you'll enjoy at home. We like to order seafood when available and we're convinced the whole Sea bass was the best fish either of us had ever tasted. My Golden Tile Fish was a 5-star meal itself but still couldn't touch the Sra bass. Please get every step of the meal (appetizer, salad, main and dessert), you'll talk about it for weeks!

One of the best restaurants in Miami, great ambiance and decor, it makes you feel that your not in a city. As usual Food and service superb, they have daily specials available. Amazing Greek wine selection, you can always ask for recommendations if not to sure of what to order. Food and Wine of the same region always goes well together. Make reservations ahead of time.

Went with a large group of 10 friends. I worked with their party coordinator and we had a pre fixe menu. Working with the party coordinator was pleasant and straightforward. We got to our 9PM reservation and were promptly seated. The courtyard is wonderful, very nice ambiance. We ordered several bottles of wine, which were fine and priced as expected. The food took a while to start coming out, which was surprising given they didn’t need to wait for our orders or anything, but not a big deal. What was disappointing for me was that the quality of food. It definitely wasn’t bad, but I wasn’t blown away and didn’t feel like it was worth the $130pp we paid before drinks and service. Best bites: - prawns - whole sea bass - mussels Disappointing bites - dips were surprisingly lackluster (we got 4) - beef souvlaki was dry and bland I don’t mind splurging for a night out with friends, but the value didn’t seem like it was here. I would either expect the price point to be lower for what we got, or to be much more wowed by the food and service of the dining experience.

Everything was very fresh and tasty. Excellent octopus! Halloumi and cherry tomatoes: so simple and so great. I also had a very refreshing rose sangria! Make sure to sit near a misting fan in order to have a pleasant lunch, specially in a hot day.

A restaurant with a great ambiance tucked inside a small house near the design district. The food was great, with a focus on seafood and greek appetizers (cheese and octopus are highly recommended). The pie for dessert was also amazing! A bit pricey but you must try this Greek delicacy if you're in town.

I thought the service was really good and the waiter was helpful in helping us pick our drinks and appetizer. I really enjoyed the lamb and usually do not like lamb. The plates were really big and filling. It’s pricey but i thought it was really good. I had the watermelon cocktail they have and I really loved it

5/5 for food, service, and atmosphere. Had a girls brunch today and everyone loved the selection!! We had 6 different kinds of dips, all tasty and extremely fresh + the whole fish (absolutely delicious) — mussels in white wine (I could drink that broth on its own!!) and a lamb pizza I cannot recall the name of (this one was the only one I wouldn’t order again, it just wasn’t mind blowing. I can’t wait to come back! The atmosphere outside is just so inviting on a cool day.

If you want to sit outdoors in the yard make sure you make reservations. The food was great and the restaurant very clean. It had a very pleasant and good vibe. Staff are polite and know about the menu and can give recommendations. We got what they recommended and were happy with our food. The house bread with their olive oil was heavenly! Also there’s only 2 gender neutral restrooms inside so there were lineups at a time.

This place is must for Miami, make a reservation before hand! The whole restaurant is outside which in July was a bit hot, but manageable. The food was outstanding! We had some of the specials and they were so flavorful and tasty. Quality food that fills you up without making you feel gross. It's all so fresh! Can't wait to come back next time I am in Miami.

Casual atmosphere with great vibe and friendly wait team. Loved the food here so much, we came back for more during our one week stay in Miami! We were able to try all the appetizers between both visits and definitely recommend all of them. Make sure you make a reservation, this place was packed even on a Monday night 6 pm.

Absolutely delicious. The atmosphere is casual. I feel like I’m in a backyard in Greece. The lights and colors feel very Mediterranean. The staff is so friendly and patient. The food is delicious, sometimes a bit too salty but it makes sense if you’re eating seafood. We had lots of wine, the meze, octopus and a salad. We will come back for sure. There was a wedding on the side of the restaurant and they were catering to it. Seemed very lovely. Such a fun idea for a wedding brunch.

The place is nice to enjoy a daylight lunch with healthy and fresh ingredients. Strongly recommend to book a reservation specially during lunch hours. The host at the entrance is not too friendly. We also had a little issue, they served a plate it wasn’t part of our order and requested to be switch it to the right plate, it took 55min to be served so we canceled it at the end. The waitress also overfilled the glass of water by accident and we had a little mess in the table to dry out. Not a big deal but worth to mention. Overall delicious food. The service needs to improve.

I visited Mandolin Miami recently and I must say, I was quite disappointed. The food here didn't capture the authentic flavors of the Mediterranean that I was expecting. To make matters worse, the service was sluggish; I had to wait 25 minutes just to place my order. On a positive note, the staff was polite, and I understand they might have been busy. The Kofte I ordered was burnt, and while the Greek salad looked appealing, it lacked the vibrant taste of a true Greek vinaigrette. The octopus was passable, but it, too, lacked flavor. The only highlight was the Taramasalata, which was good. I can't fathom how this place has garnered such popularity. The venue itself was uncomfortable, and the decor left much to be desired. What's worse, you could detect the smell of grease from the kitchen's hood, which was far from pleasant. I hate to leave a negative review, but my experience left me with no other choice. Perhaps they were understaffed on the day of my visit, and I sincerely wish them the best of luck in improving their overall dining experience.

Just finished dinner, had an amazing meal with a super friendly server. Everything top notch. I must say too, I tip my hat to the managers. My friend and her bag got really wet From the awning. The staff quickly fixed the problem and comped the meal. Handled with professionalism. Will always return. 6 stars!

The go to spot if you want great Mediterranean in Miami. Service was great, the food was phenomenal and the white sangria was great as well. We were hungry and on a time crunch- we got in and out in 40 minutes. Had the Special hummus which was a cauliflower variety- amazing- would love for it to be a regular menu option. Their vegetarian options were great, cheese Saganaki (pictured) was flavorful and the Spanakopita (pictured) was a delight. Had the Spicy Mandolin Kebob sandwich and it was surprisingly big and really delicious the fries came super crispy which I personally like.

This is an excellent place for dinner. Beautiful and feels like you’re around the Mediterranean. Food is amazing and I had the best fish I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Service was also kind, welcoming, and fast. This is an expensive place, but worth it!

Mandolin is one of my favorite places to eat at because it's outdoor seating, amazing staff and delicious food. It's also located walking distance from the Design District. I highly recommend ordering the Catch of the Day along with the Honey Pie

I used to go to Mandolin a lot, two years ago but it became so hard to get a table on the weekends that I decides to stay away for a while. Yesterday, I had some friends visiting Miami and since they wanted a place with great food that we could sit outside, I found out that Mandolin would be the best solution. The place it's so cozy. The decorations takes you to a beach house in Greece with a great outside patio, white chairs and candles on the table. We got there at 9:30pm and we were able to make last minute reservation using Google website. The place was full and we had a great table on the center of the patio. The service was also amazing. We asked for some suggestions on wine and food. We ordered a couple dishes and everything was sharable style. We started with the GREEK SAMPLER ($24), the CHEESE SAGANAKI ($18) and the GRILLED OCTOPUS ($30) that was very tender and juicy. We wanted to try more dishes and the waiter recommended the MANTI DUMPLINGS ($30) and the BEEF SOUVLAKI ($38). We ordered also a few baskets of house bread and PITA BREAD that was just amazing with the dishes we had. That place is a must go and it's good for any occasion. During daytime or night, you will always enjoy the food and environment.

Mandolin Miami delivers a gastronomic journey through Mediterranean cuisine that should not be missed. Upon arriving, the atmosphere sets the tone, especially if you can snag an outdoor table—the indoor setting simply doesn't match the vibe the restaurant aims to convey. Our culinary adventure began with the village salad. While it was fresh and decently prepared, it was somewhat unremarkable—a staple that did the job but didn't wow us. But things took a delightful turn with the trio mezze, a generous platter featuring hummus, tzatziki, and a feta dip. Each component was well-crafted, but the tzatziki stole the show with its creamy texture and balanced flavors. For our main courses, we selected the stuffed eggplant and the manti dumplings. The eggplant was solid—well-cooked and seasoned, satisfying but not necessarily a showstopper. However, the manti dumplings were nothing short of spectacular. The combination of flavors and textures made each bite an experience in itself. It's an absolute must-try dish that we can't recommend enough. Service was attentive and friendly, adding to the overall positive experience. But remember, try to sit outside to fully appreciate the ambiance that Mandolin Miami has worked so hard to create. In summary, Mandolin Miami mostly hits the mark with its mix of traditional and contemporary Mediterranean dishes, delivering especially with their mezze and manti dumplings. While some offerings like the village salad may be more on the ordinary side, the standout dishes more than compensate, making this a restaurant well worth visiting.

I used to be a regular customer but I haven’t been back in a few years. I have to admit I was very disappointed. The portions were tiny, the kofte was overcooked , the French fries tasted saggy and the rest missed salt / spices. The service was great but the food was bad and I would not recommend nor return back. I’m a local and live nearby. I’m disappointed to say the least.

I was looking for a romantic place to have brunch last Sunday and found Mandolin Aegean Bistro through a google search. What an inviting place! Upon arrival, we were immediately greeted by a friendly host; I love that he gave us several sitting options. We chose the smaller courtyard, which was quieter and more intimate then the main one. The decor and colors of the place are selected to evoke feelings of being in beautiful, sun-washed Greek tavern. I loved it! The service staff was extremely attentive and each person made sure to check in on us at appropriate time throughout our meal. For appetizers we had the grilled octopus, which was, cooked to perfection. For the main dish, we opted for the Mediterranean Seabass _it is big enough to share with a brunch companion with a normal appetite_ but if I'm being honest, I could eat the whole thing by myself 😉 We washed the whole thing down with Greek beers (we tried 2 of them). For desert, we delighted in a pistashio covered Baklava ( delicious!) with a side of Greek/Turkish coffee. I enjoyed eating at this restaurant for what it offers in tasty food, ambiance and great service. I will definitely be back with friends along to discover this gem of a place!

By far one of the best restaurant experiences we have ever had! As a Turkish-American couple, it was nice to feel like we were transported back to the Aegean coast for the evening. The food is just phenomenal. The best köfte we’ve had stateside. You can tell the service staff really works as a team - they’re constantly checking in, clearing plates, refilling water, etc. We were a bit nervous about dining outside in late July, but they have multiple fans around that make it feel breezy and comfortable. We will definitely be dreaming of coming back to Miami soon just to dine here.

A frequent spot for my friend and I to catch up over a delicious meal. Everything tastes amazing and is true to the genuine flavors. We always overindulge and order way too much food because we want to have a taste of it all. Get the dessert! (whatever it is) Ambience is definitely on point- maybe not the “back” outdoor patio, as we kept getting swarmed w flies there once, but the main patio and indoor dining area are always comfortable.

A hidden gem in Miami. At Mandolin, I can say with confidence you are paying for an excellent culinary experience. With incredibly kind and knowledgeable staff who accommodate your every need/request and quality food, you can’t go wrong at Mandolin. The beautiful restaurant is the cherry on top for an inevitably great night. Always check out the specials! French fries and veggies are very well done (I always look at how the “non star” food items are done) and the lamb is fantastic. Will be returning :)

Simply beautiful!!!! We did a lunch event in their Secret Garden and what a beautiful space!! We chose from one of their event menus, the food was delicious, the ingredientes were so fresh and the portions were big. The staff was attentive, friendly and approachable. I also love the fact that the restaurant has fresh beautiful flowers everywhere! The only one thing was the washrooms, they are beautiful but there are only two available for the whole place, you could do a little shopping while waiting 😊 Overall an amazing experience, everyone in the group loved the place and the food.

Been coming here since 2015 and I don’t know what took me so long to leave a review! We come every so often throughout the year to Miami and it’s never a complete trip without a meal at Mandolin. It has never let us down and is always consistent. Service, food, drinks, and ambiance are always 5 stars. We always get the octopus, prawns, and mussels without a question. They have their own hot sauce that we could put on anything and everything. Aperol spritz is always perfection. Turkish coffee and pistachio ice cream to finish and we all leave in a good mood. If you haven’t gone yet, make your reservation now— you won’t regret it!

Fantastic experience at this restaurant. Server was phenomenal, gave great recommendations and food was amazing. Plenty of vegetarian options. Loved the variety of flavor profiles and textures! Ordered the sangria and watermelon mint cocktail and both were delicious. Extremely popular spot so consider booking a table in advance.

The best Greek food I ever had. Came all the way from NY to experience the wonderful interior patio seating, friendliest staff and amazing food. Staff greet you with smile and servers answer any questions and make good recommendation. Food themselves are exceptional. If I ever visit Florida again, I'll definitely make a trip here again.

Great ambience, food and service! Valet parking in from is $10 (at least during lunch time)

  • 5/5 Daniela H. 2 years ago on Google
Mandolin was delicious!!! The parking is a bit awkward (mostly street) but there’s a parking garage a couple blocks away, the restaurant itself is beautiful and amazing for a candlelight dinner in the outdoor seating. I myself sat inside to minimize bug bites. But, inside was super cozy as well. The service was spectacular my server paired a great crisp white wine(can’t remember what it was called, sorry) to go with my chicken kabobs. The serving size was huge! I had enough to take home. If you’re really hungry you’ll be able to finish it but I over did it in the bread and hummus. When I come back into town I’m definitely going back.

I liked the place especially the patio. Staff very friendly and attentive. I ordered a grill octopus and it was not really good, but the plum salad was delicious. To be honest I was expecting more from this place.

What a gem! The staff was extremely friendly and welcoming. It was rainy and dark when we went, so it is a shame I don't have better pictures of this delicious branzino. The coffee and baklava is a must as well. Romantic, nice atmosphere.

I dont know where to start. First, service is exceptional, our waitress took the time of explain the entire menu since it was our first time there. We order a whole pitcher of Sangría with Rose Petals water to drink. The food was on another level, the Grilled Octopus is a "must try" it was so tender and flavorful, I cant really put how it tasted into words. Also you get transported to another place when yoy get into the restaurant, you can feel a different atmosphere. Great place.

It was absolutely incredible evening and dinner. Service was excellent !! Food is amazing ! It’s 100% place to go again and again. Unfortunately I don’t remember the names of the dishes but our server knew everything which was excellent ! It’s definitely a recommended place for Mediterranean lovers.

Awesome place! Food was amazing! It was our first time tonight. The parking was unknown before we came, but know there is a parking deck a few blocks away buy the contemporary museum Miami. The service was very thoughtful. Someone brought me a stool for my purse that was on the ground. The restaurant is outside with trees overtop and awnings, such a beautiful place. Going out to eat anymore has to do with the way both the food and atmosphere go together, We loved this experience for my birthday! My son said you should rename to the birthday place,...because of all of the birthdays tonight. Don't wait for your birthday like I did, just go!! Amazing!
