Had a horrible experience, specifically with doctor Benjamin Yoo. I had came in the day before for an ear infection, a different doctor prescribed me ear drops that turned out to be $230 even with insurance. I called to get cheaper ear drops as well as oral antibiotics prescribed because my ear was getting worse and I had a fever. Well the second ear drops they prescribed was still $100. I came back in the next day which is when I saw Dr Benjamin Yoo. I had waited two hours to be seen and paid the copay again because my ear pain had doubled and the over the counter ear drops I was using in the meantime seemed to make it worse. Dr Benjamin Yoo did not want to hear what I had to say or let me ask my questions. He was very rushed and then even started yelling at me saying “I don’t know what you’re not getting those ear drops for swimmer ear won’t work these ones with antibiotics will I don’t know how many times I have to tell you” getting increasingly frustrated with me. Very rude, as a patient who’s second time it was coming in within 24 hours and have paid to be seen twice because the first doctor did not prescribe me the right medications I think I deserved 15 minutes of Dr Benjamin Yoo’s time. Hopefully you do not get him as your doctor if you go here

The last two times I have been at this urgent care I ended up in the hospital emergency room the same day. Not only is the wait time super long , but the way the providers give diagnoses is very mickey mouse. Safe your time and go to the hospital, or one of the urgent cares of baptist or jackson!

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE Now that I'm back from the emergency room. Listen closely: These are pharma company representatives, not yours. Here, you will find "doctors" who don't listen, don't ask important questions, and prescribe unnecessary medication based on minimal data. They also make errors entering your information into their system. I'm convinced these people don't care if their patients live or not. Even if you have to travel a bit further, it's worth it, and you're worth it. Wishing you the best, reader.

Let me start off saying that if you could go to Baptist Urgent care near Key Biscaybe go there. This company only wants your money and won't see you if you don't pay up. Also prescribed me medicine that made me feel worse and didn't even prescribe me antibiotics. Worse of all , you spend over 210 dollars from urgent care visit and medications and they won't reimburse you. And can't return the medicine either which is ridiculous. All they have to offer is a sorry email. And they didn't give me discharge papers. Me not feeling well I didn't notice until now. Not worth they money or time seriously

Walked in at 7:27pm (they close at 8pm) and the receptionist said, without greeting or anything just extremely rude; “we are not seeing patients anymore, we close at 8pm and have people waiting, by the time they get seen it will be 8pm. Come back at 8am”. LOL ok… sorry that my illness inconvenienced you? The thought of arguing crossed my mind but if that’s the care they have for patients I COULD NOT GET OUT THERE FAST ENOUGH. Mind you I called and they direct you to a their website to check their hours. I just said thanks and left. If you can help it AVOID.

This place is extremely irresponsible and has no sense of accountability. I was there on Saturday to get a dog bite and marks on my hand checked out. This was stated upon check as per protocol. While waiting, a pair of young men came in, one having his face under extreme injury and covered in blood and his friend who was uninjured helping him. Both were not under conditions to operate their phones and the receptionist helped them try to uber to the nearest hospital since they could not offer the care one of the men needed. She could not function the phone and asks for help to which she hands me a bloody phone, knowing the condition I came in with and the condition the phone was in. She did not let her supervisors know or offered any type of gloves or any type of cleaning to which I used the sanitizer provided in the lobby. When the nurse called me to get checked for my dog bite, I let her know what had happened. When the Doctor came in, she stated the bare minimum regarding my dog bite to which I expressed my concerns of my open wounds exposed to another person’s blood. This added more issues to my initial reason for the visit. I had to get some lab work and come back for a follow up care. The urgent care did say they would cover the costs for the lab tests. I was told I was dismissed and would be sent my documents shortly. I had to call 2 times because they would not send me my discharge documents (my assumption is they were making sure they had all the boxes checked to cover their end). They did not send to me hours later that evening after the doctor called me to add more procedures due to my exposure and to ask me more medical questions. She also added a medication due to the exposure. When I went to pick up my medication, to my surprise, the medication I was given for the exposure to the other’s blood was 15 times more than the cost of my dog bite medication AND had gone through my insurance. I called the clinic to discuss them covering the medication and to take off my insurance since this was caused by the clinic and was met with no help as they tried to shift blame on me for the situation and would not help me any further. They gave me corporates number and I am now waiting for a response but this is absolutely unacceptable and unsanitary for a place of medical care to be so careless with their patients and while being guilty of exposing the patient to such conditions. Do not go here, they obviously do not have your best interest at heart. Edit: the clinic is taking 0 accountability for the situation and contrary to previous statements, in fact charged me for all the blood work I had to get because of their negligence.

Worse customer service ever. You have to wait 3-4 hrs to be seen and they treated you like it doesn’t matter if you’re dying or you are ok. If you can go to another Urgent Care, specially if is not a MD Now is better or if you have the possibility to go to an ER trust me, just go and don’t waist your time.

we waited 10 minutes for someone to show up. Once they showed up, we were told we had to wait another hour because they were on a break and they couldn't register us to see the doctor. How is this possible? Not to mention how rude the person was and told us it was not her problem and to go to another urgent care. Horrible service and not an "urgent" "care"

Came in first (opens at 8am), we were 2 people total, waited more than 30 minutes just for the doctor and the nurses to come into the office. Then after the nurse check up, waited another 20 minutes for the doctor to come in (he was pretty nice), unprofessional clinic that don’t respect others people time… not really nice staff..

One of the worst service ever. We arrive 8.00 am sharp with kind of an emergency. Girl in the front desk wasn’t there and doctors told us that she was in a traffic jam and they were not able to check in us. She arrived more than one hour later. Meanwhile doctors were having fun inside and the clinic was packed. 9.15 am girl arrives and she didn’t really care to go a little bit fast just to try to do things right. Anyways I don’t know why they have 2 spots in front desk if they only use one. 2 spots are for this cases when one of them is in a “traffic jam “

Horrible Service, even worse Staff. The doctor who saw me wrote the script incorrectly. As a result the Pharmacist would not fill the script. Instead of simply faxing the pharmacist a new script, MD Now stated that I had to come back and be seen by a new doctor. They didn’t even have access to my chart from the day before. I waited for over and hour and left.

I visited MD Now Urgent Care in Midtown located at 2310 Biscayne Blvd. on yesterday 10/25/2022. Some of the medical staff was unprofessional. It took forever to get an inquiry answered by the receptionist. So long people were inconvenienced coming in to be seen. Then when I had to get blood work for a test the woman had the hardest time getting my blood and it was taken from my hand she never tried to get it from my arm until I suggested it but couldn't find a vein their so took it from my hand instead. She told me she needed a raise in exaggeration about getting my blood. She then proceeded unto the floor after leaving my exam room and exclaimed in a loud and exaggerated tone to the medical staff on the floor that she needed a raise and promotion for that, indicating the difficulty of getting my blood work or maybe dealing with me in general. I was courteous and never rude to her so not sure why she carried on in that matter. Furthermore, I dealt with the same woman at their Brickell location in the recent past and she couldn't find a vein at all. Honestly, I just don't believe she is that great at getting blood from people despite it being a small challenge finding my veins it's not as hard as she made it seem.

Front desk woman were very very kind professional and even brought my Tea. However every one else in the place was arguing, clearly drama going on, and I got here with 4 people in the waiting room and I’ve been waiting for over 2 hours. In fact I even know what I have because I get strep annually. After 2 hours The doctor took 16 seconds to confirm the diagnosis I gave and then proceed to tell me I need to get a medication filled but now it’s 9pm and I have to stay up all night in pain. Go literally anywhere but hear.

I scheduled to do a drug test that was time sensitive, showed up early so I wouldn’t have to wait long, just for them to tell me the person that does drug tests wasn’t going to be in that day. Also called another location and the same answer, they couldn’t do them that day. Had to go a location further away and by the time I got there, there was a long wait. There’s no way to check online if they are doing drug tests that day. They advertise that they always offer them which obviously is not true

My experience was horrific because the doctor was inexperienced and did not know the medications. Also, it took literally 3 hours for him to see four patients ahead of me. He had to go back to the computer to search for the appropriate medication. Lastly, my former records are no longer there and I was told the system was still updating. Medical records by law of a patient should be transferred. This is simply negligence and unfair to the patient.

This office is my go-to urgent care center when it's the weekend or I know my primary care physician will be booked. The staff are well trained and organized and waiting is at a minimum. The office and waiting rooms are always clean. Parking is easy in their private lot next to the building. No appointment necessary. I had to see a doctor for an emergency on Friday and they took good care of me. I am improving quickly for which I am grateful.

Virginia was awesome communicating and explaining detailed informations to me, and also the front desk clerks were very professional, polite and welcoming! And the nurse that drew my blood did an excellent job! No pain! She methodically, and professionally prepared me with a super great sense of humor that instantly put me at ease... p.s. I think she knew I was very nervous seeing that needle 🪡 😬 GREAT JOB STAFF 👍🏿

This was the worse experience I ve ever had in a urgent care. I was got there throwing up and with a really strong headache that I could not even open my eyes and was felling very dizzy as well. It took them 30 to register me and after that I was waiting a room for 45 MINUTES for the Nurse TO CHECK MY VITALS. I had to stand up (when I couldn’t even open my eyes and was dizzy as hell) and ask if they will help me or not. So after 15 min the doctor showed up and was asking what kind or name of medicine I took when that happened last time. I thought was his job to tell me and prescribe me the medicine. Not mine. After the injection they gave me I told the doctor I was still in pain and dizzy and I was informed I was good to go. How do u tell a patience to leave after he informed you he still feeling dizzy and in pain? Left there WITH NO PRESCRIPTION or anything else and the front desk lady said she couldn’t find the email of the manager. Like really? They can find the email of the manager ? TERRIBLE SERVICE!

Wait time to be seen was ridiculous. Nurse took my vitals and said she would be back and I ended up in the exam room for 40 minutes before I came out and asked someone at the computers if I would be seen anytime soon. Turned out she went on break and didn’t tell the doctor there was even anyone in my exam room. Once I did get seen the doctor was very prompt and helpful.

This is the most unprofessional and unsafe urgent care location in existence on Biscayne Blvd downtown . I took my girlfriend there July 26th and The staff is unqualified and literally couldn’t even find a vein to give my girlfriend an IV and blood squirted all over the place and the woman replies with, “it’s been a day for me today”. So insensitive. They pricked her several times and even hit a nerve. She had bruises all over her arm from where the lady kept pricking her. When we arrived they said it was $150 for her to be seen and then they began to rack up charges every chance they could with a saline IV( that’s salt water guys), and this thing they call a GI cocktail which is literally just maylox. Please do not take your loved Ones here, it’s literally unsafe and detrimental to their health. These people are not healthcare professionals , they are Incompetent and not fit to be caregivers for anyone.

I went to this urgent care, because of the location and this is my second time here. The place is clean, the wait is fine and the Doctor who assist me is very respectful and polite Dr. Saddiqi d for that reason I gave it 2 stars, it could have been 5 but 1 of your staff ruined my visit her name is Ms. Paul the nurse who did my COVID test, and blood pressure, she’s not nice at all, I was there before for COVID test the first one who did it was very gentle and respectful doing the swab, this Ms. Paul from the time she getting my info I know she have attitude, she so rough knowing that I went there because of nosebleed as well, she carelessly and roughly did the swab without considering my issue. You can tell that she is not happy with her job. After my consultation with the doctor, I happened to see Ms. Paul again when she deliver the prescription, I politely asked her name and she rudely answer why? What did I do to you, then she hurriedly walk out the door pretending someone’s calling her. She knows why I asked for her name. Luckily I was able to find out her name.

Doctor was great. My ONLY issue with this place is the young lady at the front counter who insists on asking patients to tell her the reason for the visit where a crowded lobby of people can hear. What a violation of your HIPPA rights. And once I told her I would write it down on the check in form she gave me straight attitude.

I went in today for a quick evaluation, clearly not feeling well. I was attended with professionalism by the young man at the front desk, Ms. Avital and Dr. Yoo. I was attended promptly, received my diagnosis and prescription for medications. The facility is very neat and clean and has their own parking spaces in the back. I definitely recommend this location!

Dr Araujo was the best, I felt awful when I went in, I was on my lunch break, they immediately saw me and got me taken care of, the nurses were very friendly and attentive and I received compassionate care when I was feeling like dirt. This clinic on biscayne and 23 will absolutely be my go to in the future of urgent care. I will absolutely recommend them to everyone as well!

I thought the reviews were dramatic. They’re not. This is the slowest and most unprofessional urgent care. I waited nearly two hours (as the third person on line) and Dr. Benjamin Yoo had ZERO bedside manner and refused to test me for the typical illnesses related my symptoms— COVID, strep, flu, etc. He then told me my body could heal my viral illness on its own over time and that I didn’t need medication. I will genuinely never set foot in here again. It’s hard to imagine this person actually has a medical degree.

My husband and got off a Carnival cruise Monday. We were both very congested and coughing with low grade fevers. We had every vaccine for Covid and never sick till now. These people were very kind and quick to see us. They tested me and I was Covid pos. I was told to go home and rest he was given antibiotics for an ear infection. We were very impressed with their professionalism and so appreciated the quick diagnosis. My husband ended up positive a few days later.

AC was broken in waiting room. Air flow is key for a place filled with folks coming in with respiratory viruses. A portable AC should have been rented or installed while this issue occurred. Physical assistant did not have all the tools to perform all diagnostic checks. I came in for migraines and eye pain, eye pressure could not be checked. Also I was given steroids for migraines and not a triptan. Follow with other docs were confused by steroid prescription.

Staff was friendly and accommodating. Overall the place is generally understaffed and has long waits. I had to get a physical for work and dropped in 5x this week until I was able to finally get a visit with less than a 90min wait time. Again the staff is great but the company needs to add another doctor or PA to this location to reduce wait times.

Now I just have to say I’m not a big fan of any hospital setting but what I experienced on Thursday was just Amazing. The front desk workers were so sweet and amazing. Now when it came to the medical workers I have to say they are fantastic. The Gentleman that called me back is such a pure heart. I can tell he works to serve are community and not just for a paycheck. This young man is hilarious, while calling me back he greeted everyone that was waiting in the lobby with a warm Aloha. Now that was pretty cute. I was feeling a bit down that day I was going through a handful The young gentleman sat me down in the room, Just at that moment I knew that I was at good hands. He let me know that there was nothing to worry about and that he will do his best to insure that I was at ease. While the young men took my blood pressure, He cracked a couple a cute jokes and even offered me water. Then when he exited the rooms the last thing that came out his mouth is what really made me realize that there are still good hearted people out in this world. He completely changed my day. I was still a bit anxious due to being in a medical environment but, because of the way this wonderful gentleman treated me it calmed me down and even change my entire day. I wish I remembered his name I know his name had a K in it but I can’t completely remember. If I had to recommend a place to go when it comes to urgent care I suggest going to MD Now. Or at least the Midtown location . Thank you for the amazing experience the doctors, the front desk workers and especially that young gentleman that gave me such great care.

What’s the purpose of a appointment if I’m waiting for close to 30 minutes due to walk ins. And two out of three front desk staff have a nasty attitude towards customers. The staff that did the test were knowledgeable and friendly though

Now what really made my day is how great Kendlet treated my Mother who came in for an Urgent visit. he has a great heart and I feel like great people are under appreciated. I had gone to this place 2 times already and the woman doctor there is very unprofessional. I had a high fever, horrible throat pain and she just prescribed taylenol. She did not even spend 5 min with me and did not provide any assistance.

They are so slow, it’s not even funny. I’ve been to many urgent care places, and this is just so inefficient, and bad service. I’ve sat in the room for 20min, and then I had to remind them that they didn’t ask to take a sample from me, after sitting around doing nothing. Please find something else. Or higher more efficient people to do the job that others have done much better than your practice.

I was hesitant to go having read the reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. Reception was very welcoming and helpful. And the doctor was also very helpful and effective. She was able to give me antibiotics quickly to treat my tonsilitis. I'm overall very please with their services.

DO NOT GO HERE. I just left this facility and headed to MedRite on Biscayne (wonderful experience and efficient). They only have one doctor to look at all patients, unless you have all day to wait around, and want to deal with rude and unprofessional front desk works, I would not waste your time. I asked if they had a hand thermometer to check my temperature as I walked in b/c I was having extreme pain in my gums and wanted to make sure I wasn’t running a fever and the lady refused without pay. disgusting as a human and a business.

Having suffered a pretty horrifying and traumatic experience I am not one to look for pity, however the empathy, kindness and care I received was very much appreciated. The staff from front desk to doctors will treat you exactly how you would want to be treated when you consider yourself vulnerable or in need of care.

Rudest front desk ladies I’ve ever experienced. I walk in go to the front desk. I’m asking normal questions and the girl that sits on the right with long hair and long nails (hoping management sees this) snaps at me when I ask the expected wait time saying they just told us all. A place where people are feeling at their worst and sick then you talk to us like we are dogs? Never go there, no respect. I walked out and prefer to be sick then give them by business.

!!!BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!!! Went to this location for my COVID vaccine. I have waited 2 hours in a tiny room full of people, many of them visibly sick, coughing and sneezing. A few days after my shot I checked my insurance and I had a claim of $174 pending. THEY CHARGED ME FOR THE VACCINE! When the claim finalized I had to pay $54 out of pocket. Are you kidding me, right? If you look on the CDC's website it clearly states that a "provider cannot charge you directly for any administration fees, copays or coinsurance. Also they cannot charge the recipient for an office visit or other fee if the only service provided is a COVID-19 vaccination." Baffled, I called my health provider and they told me whoever processed my claim put the codes totally wrong. THIS IS UNBELIEVABLE! I am giving 1 star for the kind nurse who calmed my nerves and fear of needles on the day of the vaccine.

Worst place I ever been , the waiting is ridiculous.Once I walk inside I see like 5 workers just on the computers doing don't know what. Place is so cold even with a jacket feels like 60s. Place definitely need more doctors, nurses and better front desk. I end up leaving more sick than before.

I would rather go to a Baptist urgent care if there was one in the area. These people do not offer the same range of urgent services to patients, and they are extremely slow. Every time I’ve been to a Baptist urgent care center while sick I’ve been seen quickly. These people seemed to me like they didn’t want to work/deal with you.

Horrible patient bedside manner by medical assistants. I have been an MA and I have masters and premeditated I neglected to say anything so I it does not deter me from getting my pcr test back. They said thursday morning latest. She triaged the fever first. If that is first assessment treat it. I asked her if she can provide Tylenol to bring down the fever and she snapped and said what do u want me to do first when she brought out nebulizer. I told her most urgent car bring out Tylenol to bring down fever. I was in so much pain from body aches I couldn't sit in the chair shaking to finish the treatment . doctor was more compassionate wait was long hough to complete their task because of the chatting and talking. I went in around 830 informing and didn't get out til 1030am. There was only one person before me. Working within the hospital system this wouldn't be condoned and training on bedside manner and training need to be assessed

Was violently ill while on vacation in the area. Doctor was rude, insensitive to my concerns and offered no solutions except to eat yogurt for my severe nausea. $371 for a simple office visit. Update: I learned that they did not file a claim with my insurance, despite me providing up to date insurance information at the time of my visit. It took multiple phone calls, including a three-way call with a rep from my insurer, for MD Now to update my account, file a claim, and issue a correct bill. I wonder how many unfortunate individuals they scam into paying ridiculous out of pocket fees because they forget or neglect to file a claim correctly.

😠 Please do not go to this particular location. The one star is for the front desk and if I could leave a 0/5 for the doctor I will. I went to this urgent care, she did not listen to me, she had her mind made up and did not care about what I had to say, my symptoms or maybe fully doing an assessment....
