    THEY PROMISE TO YOU BUT NEVER CALL(including their manager)! My husband had a reservation for a cargo van on Monday. The van we needed had its oil changed. Then, I asked an employee to call me as soon as it's ready for pick up. I didn't receive a call till Friday when I decided to call them back myself. I spoke with their manager who thanked me for my patience and was very nice. She again PROMISED me the cargo van we needed till Monday for sure saying she'll call. Guess what, it's Monday. I got not a single call from these people, the cargo van my husband has been waiting for a WEEK!!! was rented away to somebody else on Saturday.

    The agents were not giving customers options based on their circumstances...They lie about having other cars on the lot.I had to see for myself and when I asked they played dumb.They will try to give you the smallest car even a spark of possible to save the bigger vehicles even when your willing to pay the difference.Hertz period is a complete disgrace. I prefer the competitive companies that's willing to give you options and work with the customer to keep their customers. If this wasn't contracted I would have gone somewhere else.Believe me.They won't even call other locations to go above and beyond to check.I will do it myself.Thanks for the inconvenience. šŸ‘ŽšŸ½They also good for telling you the tank full and really it's not do yourself a favor check and take pictures as proof before leaving the lot.Family of 5 considering my vehicle is big enough for 6-7ppl comfortably

    Busy Little time for our problem Not interested in a solution We are standing there with two small children and help is out of the question. At this place you will NOT get a car with a Depit card! Although it says on our reservation that it is possible. Simply stupid

    Make a reservation a week before for insurance replacement hertz send me to this location and they said we dont have a car for you i have to call customer service like 3 days they call me 4 days later (seriously) from north miami totally bad communication and customer service why make a reservation for a customer if you dont have the car ā€¦hertz rental and united insurance good look with these companies 0 stars ā­ļø

    The staff was sensational. Polite, professional, and swift at their job, but not rushing you to make a decision. The only bad part was that a previous driver smoked in the vehicle and I could smell it from word go. They did their best to mask the odor but it got worse overnight. Even though the smell irritated my asthma, I kept the car because I just used it to go to work as my car was being repaired. I will try their rental service again.

    Awful waiting time. They donā€™t even acknowledge you. We had to leave, we were waiting and they kept giving service to other random people returning vehicles. Will never comeback to a place they donā€™t care about customer satisfaction.

    Rip offs. Period. Go somewhere else!!!! Disgusting how they charge crazy amounts of fees. And they never reimbursed me a measly $50 bucks the owed me. You guys need to really stop abusing. And on top of all this, the rental car I was given had bad brakes!!!!!!!! Literally! What a joke this place!

    This Hertz I'll never rent a car from them again I've been renting cars for a long time I've rented a car from the Hertz in Pembroke Pines they was better than this Hertz they had newer cars and this Hertz in Miami Lakes had cars that was over 50,000 miles and then they was saying the car had to be returned washed and vacuumed don't come to this Hertz the worst šŸ˜’

    I'm going to have my car painted and needed a rental car during that time. I went in twice before and there was a long line and I went in this time and I was the only one there got in and out with my reservation made so I feel satisfied

    I had to wait more than two hours, then they said I couldnā€™t use my car insurance and charged me the insurance for the week. On Monday I called to modify the contract with my own insurance and they wanted me to go back to the same place to do so, in conclusion, they wanted to keep all the money and charge moreā€¦use another company.

    Paid early and upfront for a reservation here but they gave the car to someone else and couldn't provide me with another car... Also, I've been waiting 15 days and come to find out, they never refunded my reservation. I have to wait another 10 days for it to come in... That's almost a month to get my money back...

    I booked a suburban suv at this location with confirmation #. I called 30 mins before to confirm if car was ready and to alert the center I was on my way. I was told car was not there yet but will be ready when I arrive. I got there 30 mins later only to be told car was rented out to someone else 10 mins prior. Very unprofessional and customer unfriendly treatment. Try somewhere else for your car rental if possible.

    DO NOT RENT HERE! Trust me, you will regret it. This place was dirty and had ceilings tiles hanging down. I reserved a FULL size suv my fiancĆ© arrived. He waited 35 minutes. Once he reached a counter, David told him they did not have the vehicle that we reserved for but that he can give him a van for more money. Once my fiancĆ© told me that I called the counter to speak to David and told him that, the vehicle that he is giving us should be an even exchange for the vehicle we reserved for since it was an inconvenience to us that they did not have it. David insisted that I speak with the manager upon my return of the vehicle. when I came back to speak to the manager , she went back and forth with me about the difference of the vehicle. she told me that if it was not reserved with a third party, they will not be an up charge. She also told me that I did not deserve a full-size vehicle until I showed her my reservation email. I informed her no one walked my fiancĆ© to the vehicle for inspection prior to leaving and that there was no gas and the vehicle was dirty and we only accepted the vehicle because we were told to speak with her upon return. It seems like someone had just brought the vehicle back and they didnā€™t wash it for fill it with gas just gave it to us. She told me my fiancĆ© signed off on the price and inspection. I told her that David did not walk him to the vehicle and David sat there and lied saying that he did and my fiancĆ© signed off on it. The manager tells me she believes her associate. I asked to see where my fiancĆ© signed and the manager pulls up a forged signature. Once I showed her my fiancĆ©s ID she then tells me now I believe you because clearly this is not his signature. David leans over to her and says just give them the money. Now that he is caught in the lie he told. The manager was very unprofessional with tone and the way she handled this situation. They both needs to be fired. I would never rent from here again. I should be manager I would turn that place around. Do Better

    Worst experience and horrible customer service. Razziel was very rude!!!! He was nonchalant about them not having cars & wasnā€™t informative. Someone else sitting inside wasnā€™t too pleased with him. Donā€™t rent here! Theyā€™ll let you make reservations and then tell you they donā€™t have cars.

    Don't have a issue with the $500 hold my issue is when I called twice to confirm using a debit card nothing was told to me about a credit card and credit check. Why not let me know that over the phone. It took every bit of energy not to lose my cool.

    Took an hour to get a car. They donā€™t clean their cars until you finish paying. I showed up at 8:45am on a Friday to pick up a reserved vehicle. One customer in front of me. One employee working the desk. I finally asked how long it would take and they just brought me a dirty car. Worst car rental experience Iā€™ve ever had. I bet management blames COVID.

    This facility is professional and prompt..i came here because the hialeah facility closed before the time stated and posted.. In Miami lakes Javier was very helpful, knowledgeable, and comprehensive. Had I known of this facility I would've come here directly to return car. Atleast they work and do not leave early nor ignore the phone calls as hialeah. I suggest if in neighborhood go to miami lakes on red road.

    I made my rental purchase of a sprinter van the day of (2/14) at 12:38 with a pickup time of 1:30pm. When I arrived I was told my car was unavailable and I was incredibly upset and disappointed 1) because I wasnā€™t told the vehicle was unavailable until after I paid for it and 2) because the options that were offered to me didnā€™t equate to the car I asked for. I asked to speak to the supervisor who never came and who I discovered was present and decided to leave instead of clearing up their mistake. Never acknowledged and I believe he walked right past me when the front desk attendant took me to the back to look at alternative vehicles. Had it not been for Andy Jean-Baptiste. I would have left and this review would be all bad. Andy helped the new employee accommodate me appropriately and I left satisfied. Just judging by the way he handle me he definitely seems like a asset to that place. Especially with a supervisor who has no respect. Thank you Andy and German for correcting the issue.

    I keep getting random charges on my card a month after renting a car from this place. When I left, I had a receipt with a zero balance, yet they keep charging me random charges. I called 4 times and I was either placed on hold for literally 30 minutes, or they kept hanging up on me. When I was able to get someone on the line, they could not explain the charges cause both guys at the front are clearly not well trained on how to do their job. I had to claim fraud on my card and keep it locked in fear of getting another charge.

    Was involved in an accident and made reservations for a rental on Thursday, October 28th to be picked up at the body shop and driven to this rental location to pick up a car today 11/01/21 at 12:00 noon. The body shop was delayed on getting a quote and I was trying to call Hertz to let them know to hold off on picking me up at noon as the body shop has not gotten back to me. So I called and spoke with someone I wish I would had asked for a name so I can write his name down here. (I hope if Hertz sees this and record the conversation "for quality assurance" you can check the conversation as I called at 11:11 am - 11/01/21. The employee was short with me, interrupted me brushing me off and then placed me on hold for a long time. I got tired of being on hold so I hung up the phone. It is now 11:42 am, I am at home so if they go to the body shop to pick me up and I was not there, you know why. I called and asked for a manager to complain and another employee named Frank tells me he is busy and if he could assist me. No Frank I want to complain to someone higher than you!
