The temple is management works great. It’s maintained clean and hygienic. The architecture is good and well maintained. All kinds of ritual activities are performed but there is still a lot of scope to improvise in aspects like aksharabhyasam and First hair offerings. People drive for hours with infants and kids to this temple to perform rituals but if the priest who does these is so casual and not that up to the mark then it really hurts us. I don’t say it’s bad but there is a lot for improvement only in this aspect. All other services all performed excellent to the standards. Even though the cafeteria is small in size, the food that’s served there is of top quality. The parking at the temple is well organized. Security is good.

Great temple, must visit if you are in United states or Canada. The this has good and fresh food served at very low price. I tried all items in the menu, loved them. Kudos to kitchen crew!! The temple representatives at couple of places found yelling at the devotees which is not pleasant. Please try to communicate kindly.

The Sri Venkateswara Temple in Pittsburgh is a divine haven that transcends time and distance, transporting visitors to the spiritual realm of India. Nestled amidst picturesque surroundings, the temple's majestic architecture and intricate craftsmanship exude a sense of serenity and sacredness. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality, creating an atmosphere of reverence and devotion. The temple's sanctum sanctorum houses the divine deity, Lord Venkateswara, radiating a sense of divine presence and grace. Engaging in rituals and prayers amidst the melodious chants and aromatic incense filled my heart with tranquility and spiritual fulfillment. Beyond its spiritual significance, the temple hosts various cultural events, enriching the community and fostering a sense of togetherness. My visit to the Sri Venkateswara Temple in Pittsburgh was a spiritual journey that touched my soul and left an indelible impression of the enduring beauty and devotion that bind humanity across continents and cultures.

The best Hindu Temple in the Eastern USA. The place is very scenic and peaceful. The priests are very professional.sleeveless and shorts are not allowed in the temple.Ethnic wear more suitable here. The Prasadam is very special and reasonably priced. Some renovations are going on to make it look better and better. We loved the place. Will visit again!

Beautiful temple. We go there a couple of times per year. It opened back up for darshan just a couple of months back. There is a lot of construction going on in the front of the mandir. Back side is fine. There are signs listed on where to go, it’s easy to follow. The mandir has a strict clothing policy. Beautiful and serene on the hill top. No pictures allowed inside the mandir.

Crowded on Saturdays and during special events. Temple hall is small can't accommodate more than 75 people. If want peaceful darshan, choose a weekday, without special events More arrangements required on crowded days. Handled mostly by volunteers, but devotees should cooperate as well, regarding maintaining neatness, handling children, dress code, following traffic controls and patterns. Dining hall is small, but people take too much time to eat, chitchatting with others, not caring about people wandering with food in plates looking for space.

You can feel the spiritual sacred feeling. I visited on a weekend (Saturday) and it wasn’t too crowd, but yes there are people. There are many facilities like changing rooms, washing legs, restrooms, cafeteria, shoe racks and jacket holders. Archana, Ashtothram and many more pooja’s here. Also Car Pooja is available. In cafeteria lemon rice, tamarind rice, curd rice, laddu, bondi etc are available. I tried the tamarind rice and laddu and I love it.

Great experience visiting (probably) the oldest Hindu temple of this scale in the US. The premises was well maintained and clean. The food was not as good as it used to be but still good. Multiple lots to park your car, they also provide shuttle service on special occasions from remote lots (information made available on the website)

Well maintained Hindu temple. It was a only a 10 minutes dharsan. Though the crowd was very less they have been asking people to move faster. We have been planning to visit this temple for a long time and finally we have got appointment on a weekend. Looks like some construction is going around the temple.

We drove all the way from Toronto to visit the temple. It was showing open in Google, but closed for unexpected maintainence. Called the management and requested just for dharshan and they accomodated our request. We are so thankful to the management and their kindness. We were lucky to get prasadam and it was yummy. Thanks again.

A must visit temple of Lord Balaji. A beautifully located temple on a hill. Masks are mandatory to enter the temple. Archana tickets costs 8 US dollars and can be purchased at the kiosks located near the reception. You also have the option to buy food like Curd rice, Pulihora rice and others at $3 each box.

One of the first traditional Hindu temples in the United States was constructed there in 1976. It's in the Pennsylvanian state of Penn Hills. Most religious activities, rituals, and poojas take place at temples. Indians living in the United States can order any daily pooja, including aksharabhyasam, abhishekam, Archana, annaprasana, vehicle pooja, and Satyanarayana Swamy Vratam, online.

The Temple itself is amazing. But the BIG issue is the "Suprabhatam" timing is exactly the same as Temple opening time, so the security guard won't allow visitors to enter the main temple before the scheduled Temple opening time, this means a devotee is late to Suprabhatam. The Temple Management should address Temple opening time and Suprabhatam time

We had an amazing darshan on new year day. Temple was neat and clean and everyone were following the queue lines in a proper order. Priest performed Archana seva for us and we all were allowed inside the main temple (very near to the Balaji idol) on this day and were blessed to have quick darshan. The kiosk machines were simple, amazing and easy to use. Temple cafeteria is awesome as ever with many varieties of food, tea, coffee etc In short, We had a great darshan and the ambience here is a blessing for all of us. Om namo venkatesaya 🙏

Yeah I’m an Uber driver who is a white male and I walked in after dropping off two of your participants and your security officer tried to intimidate me with no good reason. I’ll be calling to complain. Grow up.

It is one of the earliest traditional Hindu temples built (1976) in the U.S. It is located in Penn Hills in Pennsylvania state. Almost all religious events/services/poojas are performed in the temple. Indians in the U.S can place an online orders for any of the daily pooja like aksharabhyasam, abhishekam, Archana, annaprasana, car pooja, and Satyanarayana Swamy Vratam. Lord Venkateswara is the main deity inside the temple premises. The other deities inside the temple include Lord Ganesha, Lord Shiva (in lingakaram), and Goddess Parvati. I was in shorts, I bought a dhoti for $6 and went inside. there is a canteen inside the temple where one can relish mouth-watering typical South Indian veggie stuff. I guess its the best meal of this Pittsburgh tour. We asked for Upma, Termrind rice, and Pongal. it was just amazing, so good in taste, and just $3. The portion size was too good.

Beautiful and serene place. The temple is really well maintained still following the covid measures. There was some construction going on, so the main entrance of the temple was closed.

Have come here many times before. Always amazed by the local community involvement in the upkeep of the temple and its constant improvement projects. Masks were enforced for safety of the patrons. Certainly appreciated that as there were a lot of people visiting from all over the United States and some from foreign countries too. The canteen was open and the food was great like always. Kudos to the local community!!

👍👍 Great park for kids and pups. Relatively steep slopes hill, may be hard with strollers. Parking is locked to the top and bottom of the park. There is a skate park up top as well as an abandoned but cut football field behind the municipal building with a dirt track for flat jogging or dog walks.

😐 It's a park that is decently maintained but has older equipment/fixtures. I'm sure it is fine for sporting events (football, baseball, etc), but it isn't anything special for the playground or just walking around to enjoy the outdoors. I would find another park for those purposes.

👍👍 A nice, peaceful park with playground, walking path, and courts for tennis and roller hockey. A great resource for locals and families. The civic association does a great job keeping the park clean and hosting events, check their website to see what's going on!
