We purchased a membership here and the first night we signed up they couldn't print our cards because of a technical difficulty. They promised our $40.00 incentive would be credited. Tonight we visited, purchased over $200.00 worth of merchandise, went to pay, the Sale finalized without applying the credit. We spoke with the cashier who said she didn't know what to say or do but we needed to visit customer service for anything like that. We went to Customer Service and after a grueling 20 minute session we ended up with desk manager taking our name and number down on a piece of paper. We were told that they were directed to fill out a report about things like this and we should wait to get a call. After leaving the store we called the service number. The clerk on the line could see the credit on the account. Her supervisor told her that another department would need to fix it but they don't work on the weekend.

My last visit on 07/18/2022 around 8pm was very unpleasant. I filled my cart with several large cases of bottled water and took it to the self check out. They for some reason felt it was a fantastic idea to take away the hand held scanners… at a wholesale club which mostly sells large and heavy objects. But that’s fine, normally the worker at the self checkout will scan your larger items that cannot be easily lifted out of the cart and placed on the scanner. So I hit “call attendant” and this women (cannot remember her name) who claimed to be a supervisor came up to me and I asked if she can scan my large water cases. She told me that they don’t do that and had a very snarky and rude attitude. She told me to “take a bottle out and scan it” great so the entire case starts coming apart as I’m about to lift it into my car? That literally makes no sense - you take away the self scanners then get an attitude with me when I kindly ask if you can scan my (2) large and heavy items? Luckily I’m capable of lifting them onto the normal scanner but what if I was elderly or was unable to lift something weighing upwards of 50 pounds? Completely inconsiderate on BJs part. The family next to me even commented on her rude behavior, I guess they were having similar issues.

I was looking for a case actually two cases of no sugar Snapple could not find it anywhere but it said it was in the building. I went to the front desk and worked with Daniel… I have to say he was most kind friendly and helpful. Went with me to the other end of the store he was able to get somebody to help me and stayed until the job was completed lol… Got to say I thought he was great thanks Daniel!

I usually do my weekly shopping here. I love the variety of products here. From the food, kitchen products, and toiletries. It's very convenient. The sales representatives are always very inviting and helpful with any questions I have. Highly recommend BJ's

Great choices, definitely geared more towards home purchases. If you own a business they do so have some items for resale like candy ect. But definitely not as much as some other whole sale stores. But I have definitely found thier prices are usually lower on most items. Gas prices are amazing. All associates (so far) have been nothing but nice and always willing to help!

4 new tires installation - do not recommend BJ tire shop! Easy online ordering and appointment set up. Average prices and options to choose from. Quick install with horrible balancing. Steering wheel vibrating violently. Went back next day to fix Jerry’s sloppy work and balance tires again just to hear from the other technician that he only wants to balance two tires not four. After brief argument and getting all four tires balanced again, the steering wheel still vibrates at 80mph, although less. Not going there ever again. Not my first tire installation but definitely the worst.

My sister and mother went for groceries today. There was an elderly lady working with short hair, Who treated them really badly. I feel that she was a bit racist. So Basically what happened is that my mother forgot the membership card at home and they had a photo of the Membership card. One of the cashers said politely that We need the physical card itself. So they had called me to bring the card over it took me about 15 minutes to reach there. In the meanwhile this elderly lady with short hair came up to my sister and mother taunting them saying rude things to them, I believe it had to do with their appearance We are Muslim and Whenever my sister and mother leave the house they cover themselves from head to toe. I really hope something can be done about the elderly lady. Overall everyone else was great.

I have been shopping at BJ's Wholesale since it first opened. Overall, I am satisfied with the location. Normally, it is well-stocked and clean. The overall presentation is good and items are organized in a way that items are easy to find. It does not have an as extensive selection as that of Costco and Sam's Club and I find that some items are more expensive than those chains. This is not a deal breaker, though, because it is not as crowded and it is cleaner with a more pleasing presentation. I would rather pay a little more to avoid the crowds and find that what I need is usually in stock. I have also found that the most of the shoppers I have encountered at BJ's tend to be friendly and do not stand and clutter the aisles like some other places. If you are looking for the lowest prices, I would not recommend BJ's but if you are looking for reasonable prices and a clean environment, give it a try.

The wife and I weren't overly impressed. Laundry detergent, tide everywhere nothing else. Everything was high priced,a smaller version of Sam's club and Costco. Store and the parking lot were clean. Not many checkout lanes. I heard several employees complaining about standing on concrete all day. And saying the pay isn't very good. A waste of 55.00

Caution!! The absolute worst customer service you will experience. Using curbside pick associates will load the cart into your vehicle which is fantastic… until they do not place half the items you paid for in. Call to speak to a manager, they transfer you to the pickup department, ask to be transferred to a manager again, their only solution is for you to drive to the store and pick it up or get it refunded. Now, this happening one time is understandable but I have not gotten a complete order (things I’ve paid for, thatare in stock) 4 of my last 5 orders. When you call BJ’s corporate office (outsourced customer service) they tell you the exact same thing and that someone will follow up with you. No one from the corporate office ever follows up. This is an issue no other store in the area has at this consistent rate. We’re not talking out of stock items, but items on shelves, paid for and not given to the customer. BJ’s also gives the option to allow for substitutions which is a great! However, the BJ’s Taylor staff shops the order, scans it all at once not giving the customer an opportunity to request a substitution. Plus One star because the store has good produce and fantastic deli/meat counters.

I can't even give them 1 star - I told them not to renew my membership when it expired in 2020 and they have been charging me for 2 years. TRUST NO ONE north of Monroe County Line. These people are crooks

So we used to love this place...used to. The menu is really extensive and has lots of good offerings. The problem is execution. I will say i have a background in fine dining and worked at a very exclusive restaurant for 10 years so that gives me a unique and sometimes biased standard to hold others to. That being said, we had our first bad experience after my significant other ordered the homestule fried chicken and after about a 30 minute wait it came out udercooked and raw through the middle. Always a bad experience but particularly bad when dealing with poultry. We waited 6 months to try again. After deciding to give them another try we went back and I ordered the orange marmalade porkchops. Wrong again. Undercooked to the point of raw AGAIN. Today was our last straw, after ordering more basic menu items the food was still cold and the beer warm. Overpriced and under-delivered as usual. We won't be back.

I truly wish we could trade this BJs for a Costco. My family has had membership with this place since they opened. Their inventory is so very basic compared to other clubs, so I end up barely shopping in the store. A few hard-to-find food items I actually loved and would buy regularly stopped being stocked after a few months. Also this is one of the places that price-gouged water during the lockdown. An air plant and a discount on gas are the best things I have ever gotten from this place.

We were in here just yesterday and bought a case of bodyarmor lyte that was over TWO months expired. Their only solution was for us to return in store to return the item 30+ mins away. I don’t need to tell anyone why buying something expired like this in a big box store is a HUGE indicator of issues in store.

Went to get hotdogs and their register was down. Dasjua said we gotta go through regular line. She goes above and beyond and walked us to register and got us going. What an Allstar. Taming our hangryness . Gj girl.

We think BJ's is 100 times better than Costco or sam's club. We get some produce here, and the amounts are not huge quantities, like Costco or sam's club. Where BJ's really sets itself apart is with their deli. They carry a huge array of meets to choose from.

Nice to walk around and sample the latest in food products. They do not limit purchases so items on sale, or have high value coupon attached,.will.not always be available. This also goes for meats, even when shortages are about. Just what was told by "others", and experienced myself.

I used to love the large pre-made macorni and cheese. All you had to do was add a little extra cheese. Unfortunately they changed the recipe and now it's not even edible. The first time it was horrible I thought it must be a fluke so I tried it again a few days ago. I hated throwing away such a large amount of food but it was so bad that I couldn't force myself to eat it. It does not even look the same way it used to. It's a weird color now and very dry. It used to be creamy and looked and tasted like homemade. I really hope they change it back. If they end up changing the rotisserie chicken I will definitely cancel my membership.

Selection is NOT great, very limited. Last 2 visits I was looking for a king comforter. They carried only 1 style & only had 1 on the shelf. Bad. If you go for rotisserie chicken & deli meats, vitamins & tv's you are good to go & should buy a membership. If you want a wide selection of goods, you are much better off at COSTCO.

8/20/2022 I have been shopping at Bjs in Taylor, MI since it opened up. Today was my worse experience ever. First, I did an pick up order and when I picked it up, one item was canceled. I asked the worker why it was cancelled and she said they were all out. I realized that I had to get my daughter some milk so I went in. I parked in the spot that said members with infants because my infant daughter was in the car with me along with my oldest and my mother. When I walked in I was approached by a worker and he said that spot is for members with infants. I said “ My daughters are in the car with my mother. I saw the worker walk over to someone in the customer service department. I continue to shop for milk and when I got my milk, i saw the item that had been cancelled off my pick up order. I then called my mother and told her what happen with the item and the worker approaching me . She said “ there was a man acting like he was pushing a buggy and trying to look in my car. So I told her what happen when i walked in and she said she got out the car and the man didn’t say anything. I went to make a complaint at the customer service and the manager said. “ well it’s a policy and he did not hear you say that your mother was in the car”. How can someone just feel they can look through your car without your permission??? I asked her did she want someone to look in her car and she said no. So how do you think I feel. I did not feel comfortable at all with the service I received today. I felt as of My children were being watched. I felt profiled. I have never had anyone approach me about a parking spot before there and for someone to think they can go up and look in my car with my mother and daughters in it made them and I very uncomfortable and I will never shop at this location again.

What a great warehouse store. Usually do pick up orders and they are so much better than Sam's. Store is always well stocked and great deals. Especially the fuel savers.

Sam's club and Costco now have a contender to be wrecked with! I like this place, always room for improvement but still a great place to shop for all essentials.. Oh and their prices are somewhat cheaper than their contenders

Worst steak I’ve had, extremely fatty. Not worth 30 dollars. Got served a salad with dirt in the roots. My beverage was served in a broken glass. If I could do negative stars, I would.

Great prices inside and out. Gas station was easy to access. Plenty of parking. Clean and service is friendly.
