🫀 1st impression, nice new hotel. Front desk staff very nice. Got to our room and noticed an excessive amount of black long hair and pubic hairs in the shower, the drain was also full of hair. The bathroom floor full of hair. I pulled back the blankets on the bed and hair everywhere. Grabbed our thing... 1st impression, nice new hotel. Front desk staff very nice. Got to our room and noticed an excessive amount of black long hair and pubic hairs in the shower, the drain was also full of hair. The bathroom floor full of hair. I pulled back the blankets on the bed and hair everywhere. Grabbed our things and went back to the front desk to get a different room. They promptly gave us a new room. This room was clean but I was uneasy staying there since it seems they like to cut corners. Went to make a cup of coffee and no regular coffee to be found nor any sugar. Box of tissues empty and missing paper cups. The star of this stay was the very friendly staff and the breakfast that was provided. Check out is at 11:00 but at 10:15 housekeeping walked into my room without knocking. NOT ACCEPTABLE! We have always liked to book with holiday inn when we are away, not sure if I would recommend this one.

I stayed here for several weeks for work. It was a pretty good place with good service and good breakfast. I had no major issues, though there were a few minor ones such as having to go to the desk to get coffee pods a few times because the staff forgot to replace them in my room. This area of town seems a bit sketchy as well, but I don't think anything bad went down at the hotel while I was staying there. Overall, my stay was a positive experience.

Awesome stay at the holiday inn Express! Super clean and very comfortable beds! The most amazing breakfast! Cassie is the amazing breakfast cook and keeps the food stocked, hot and fresh! Very clean dining! Also the coolest Pancake maker!

Staff was friendly and professional. I noticed that the weekday housekeeping staff worked without letting the doors bang closed like I've experienced at so many other hotels. The weekend staff did let the doors bang closed. The difference was very noticeable. The daily breakfast was enjoyable. I would encourage attention to the external walkways when there has been a snowfall. Some areas were not cleared, or salted.

We came into town for a wedding and the next morning our car was STOLEN off their property. When asked about the surveillance footage, they told me their "server" magically went down around the time the incident happened (VERY FISHY RIGHT???) We came back to our hotel from the wedding celebration at 3AM and you are telling me your cameras went down around that time?? I think anyone in their right mind knows what I am thinking!! We stayed at this hotel after reading the "okay" review thinking my property is safe but its NOT! We are out of town people and do not know the area well, if we would've known or saw any reviews like this, we would NOT have stayed there. WARNING FOR OTHERS, stay at your own risk!

We had a wonderful stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Dearborn. This hotel is brand new, so its in great shape, and the staff is very polite and friendly. The rooms are very clean, and quite spacious. The beds are soft and very comfortable. The continental breakfast was exceptional as well, many options for all types of diets. There was a nice 50' TV in the room, we had absolutely no complaints about our stay here, I would recommend it to anyone.

When we checked in it took forever which was not a huge issue. However when we got to our room there was no soap in the bathroom and there was hair in the shower. There were also crumbs on the floor in the room. I was double charged for the 3 rooms I booked and was never refunded the full amount. When I returned to the hotel after disputing for several days over the phone and never being able to speak with a manager, I was told that the $270 that was not refunded was because the rates had changed from when I booked to when I checked in. I've never been told that in my life. I will 100% not be going back to this location.

I arrived at the hotel at the designated check-in time of 3 pm only to be informed that my room wouldn't be ready for another hour. Surprisingly, the room had been assigned to another guest who checked in earlier. I expressed my concern to the reception, emphasizing that such a situation seemed incongruent with the 3 pm check-in time. Unfortunately, my concerns were met with complete disregard, as the staff refused to engage in conversation or provide any updates. The lack of communication and apparent rudeness from the staff was disheartening. To exacerbate the situation, the manager remained unresponsive until we actively sought updates. When we finally obtained the room after a one-hour delay, we encountered additional issues – the TV was non-functional, the room was in disarray with spills of juice, and the washroom was unclean. This entire experience stands out as the worst encountered to date. In light of these circumstances, I am seeking a refund for my stay. Furthermore, I've noticed a pending charge of two nights on my credit card, despite having paid and utilized my points well in advance. I kindly request that you address and rectify these issues promptly.

I love the new hotel smell. The ambience is up scale. Everything is modern. And it's right off of Southfield freeway. So getting to it was easy. The parking lot is lit up at night time and they have security patrolling with with a super bright light. It made me feel safe and the prices are very competitive. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. They also have a pool, workout room, and they even have a laundry room. 2 thumbs up.

I am staying here for work for the week. The location is super convenient with shopping, dining, and a gym within less than a mile. My room is very clean and comfortable, and the staff have been very friendly and professional. I have seen some bad reviews on here, but I find them questionable. If you're staying in a hotel, be respectful and remember there are other people staying here. If you are being loud and leave the room messy, you get what you get. I will be staying here again when I come back. Very nice hotel and staff.

My personal experience with this hotel was not good. There were many little things that happened that made our stay not good. We had to go to the office to get sheets for pull out bed. There was no hot tub in the pool area. The water in the shower could not get as hot as liked. We quickly ran out of tissues and toilet paper, and we didn't have any shower gel to start because it was empty. Our room service didn't arrive in the four and a half hours we were gone, so we just had to ask for more towels and everything else. What was absolutely amazing were the people there. They were so kind and friendly and always trying to help. The worst part of our stay was that we could not get sleep. Our neighbors were playing music and yelling and making lots of noise for both of the nights we stayed there. We estimated about 2 hours of sleep each night. We went to the office three times but it didn't help. The hotel itself has a breakfast, a pool, a fitness center. It also has some elevators and stairs. It has a laundry chute. Overall, I would absolutely not recommend this place to stay at.

For a new hotel, we were so disappointed with the accommodations. It appears as though many corners were cut when constructing this building, with caulk all over the tub and windows, a sprinkler system that did not seem to fit the opening, and door trim that was already loose. Our room’s refrigerator also leaked the entire time all over out food, no matter what setting we had it on. I will say that all of the PEOPLE we interacted with were wonderful. From the front desk, to the ladies manning the breakfast area, and the manager when we called to ask for more towels because there was a misunderstanding with housekeeping due to the newness of staff. While it didn’t make up for the shoddy workmanship, it did make the stay much less frustrating.

I definitely enjoyed my stay here . When I first walked in I already knew that I would have a great stay by the cleanliness of the hotel itself. The only problem I had was with the front desk agent. She was very rude and she acted as if she didn't enjoy her job. Never bring your problems from home to the work place. She was very unprofessional but other then that I really enjoyed my stay here and will be returning very soon. Hopefully they get a better front desk agent by the time I do decide to return for another stay.

As soon as we walked in we were thrilled by the cleanliness taken by the staff here. My sisters and I forgot makeup wipes, they provided some (if you wear makeup yk how great that is). Breakfast was good too, just make sure to wake up for it, turkey sausage was awesome.

This is my second stay at this hotel. Very clean room with no smoke smell and personable hard working staff. Breakfast is consistently well done by Cassie who is working the entire time I'm eating and yet has a cheerful greeting for everyone. The pool area is clean and there are always towels available there. Parking lot is very well lit. I will be back.

Absolutely 5 star Staff is very friendly and helpful especially the night shift. The parking lot is well patrolled by a very helpful and friendly security guard. I do not understand why anyone else gave a bad review they must have been trouble guests because I saw staff act in the most professional manner at all times. The best part was the fact that the front desk agent devan and the security guard in the parking lot smiled and asked how my stay was and offered to assist with anything I needed during my stay. What a great staff !!!!!! I truly have to commend your hotel on the friendliness of the guard. I won't lie I was a bit put off at first by seeing a security car in the lot but I went to her vehicle and just said hello and she was such a nice young lady. Five stars for those two ladies I will stay in the future and I will recommend this hotel

I travel for business, so I have stayed at this hotel for months. Overall, the rooms are great. The staff is hit or miss. recently, I left a piece of equipment behind by accident, as I was letting it dry. I know this is my fault for leaving it behind, but I did contact the hotel immediately, but it somehow disappeared completely. So someone either stole it, or threw it away. I was never able to talk to a manager about this, because they never seemed to be available. I contacted them multiple times to try and resolve this issue, but never got a call back from a manager. I even stayed an additional week to maybe try smooth over the situation. That week was horrible. I was up all night because of other loud patrons. multiple nights. I tried calling the front desk 5 times one night, and 4 times the next with no answer. Checking out in the mornings is somewhat annoying as well. I know it's very early, but the young lady never turns off her music, or shows she's watching while checking me out. I don't care one bit what you do, but please at least pause it while interacting with a customer checking out. I still have to stay in the area to work for another 6 months to a year, and it definitely won't be here.

Brand new hotel. They are still getting their things situated. Pool was not open, no hot breakfast, and do no disturb signs missing in the room. Good location.

This is a great building and has great morning breakfast. Had friend in from out of town and they were very very very happy with the services and the HOT morning breakfast. The other thing that they did not like was that the room doors slam shut. The doors banging so loud that it sounded like someone was slamming their own front door to their house in anger. YES THAT LOUD ! ! ! But the rooms and the building was cleaning and bright.

Room was nice. Service was great. Breakfast was delicious. Everything was good until check out when i noticed someone stole my truck from the parking lot. When i told the GM on site, he acted like he didn't care. As a matter of fact he didn't even want to give me or the cops the footage. Talking about They have a security team for that. They didn't even try to make it right. Instead he was fixing blinds in the hotel. You have a whole guest here from LANSING telling you someone stole their truck and all you can say is that there is nothing we can do since it happened outside of here. Even though it was on holiday inn's property. That's ok, i called corporate. So i won't Be coming back to this location. And pls Be careful ppl and keep an eye on your vehicles.

Accomodations were huge! And clean. The warm cinnamon rolls for breakfast were a real treat. And the breakfast area was kept spotless. Staff were all pleasant and helpful, especially Shauny in housekeeping.
