We stayed as a group of 16 members for 1 night. Location was near the town and easily reachable. Outside amenities were good and enough parking. But we faced worst room service. 1)There was no power backup available and had to experience the outage for 1hr around 8PM. Even their lift service won't work that time. 2)TV was not working in multiple rooms and had to follow-up 3-4 times before getting corrected. 3) there is no intercom available. You have to call reception/ room service from mobile. 4) initially they were not allowing to order and get dinner from the restaurant and had to escalate to the manager to get them ready for the elderly as well. 5) they did not provide late checkout till 2PM for atleast 1 room (out of the 5 rooms).

Enjoyed a comfortable stay. Ambience is good. Thanks for wonderful hospitality of the staff, especially the front office manager Mr.Arun and the catering manager Mr.Sujin. Nice place to stay within an affordable budget when you visit Alappuzha.

The ambience is quite good. Enjoyed my stay here. Service was okayish though. The outside maintenance is quite good. The cottages could be managed better from the inside. Overall a great experience. Really had a fun time here.

Faced very bad experience from the lady staff(Manager), we wanted rooms for our guests to attend a marriage function. We enquired about the rooms and facilities she behaved very rudely. I will suggest Pagoda to any of my friends or relatives.

My recent stay here was an absolute nightmare. The maintenance was non-existent, with broken equipment and dirty facilities everywhere. The rooms were too old and were not clean, with visible dust and stains on the furniture and floor. The reception staff had a rude and dismissive attitude, showing no interest in addressing our concerns or improving the situation. To make matters worse, the lift service was a disaster waiting to happen. It was old, creaky, and made alarming noises every time we used it. No intercom facility and the guests have to call the reception from their mobile phone. No power backup available.

I want to right good things but not even single thing good about resort... 1. No welcoming or reception behaviour is very rude. No sense of talking or how to greet 2. Receptionist haven't introduce about resort like where is swiming pool or dine-in.. nothing 3. Staff is also rude... They are talking rudely with guests. 4. Room is very dirty, not cleaned at all, blanket, mattress curtains, towel etc. Are not washed at all. 5. No TV service, no wifi, no intercom provided. You have to call receptionist via your own mobile phones. 6. AC is not working. Can not lower or higher temperatures in the. 7. Fan is broken, all lights of room is not in the working condition. 8. Bathroom flush is not working. 9. We complaint about all the issue via phones and they haven't responded very well. We went personally to the reception and complaint about it.. they said they will sent maintenance guys.. they can not provide us another room even after these much issues. After 1 hour of call about the issue they just solved 1 issue... Flush of bowl. 10. No hot water kettle provided, no tea coffee sachets.. nothing for refreshments. 11. Food is terrible, not tasty not even good quality. 12. Electricity is terrible. There is no backup for electricity. It went off and coming back on full day and night as well. we stuck in lift during power cut and no way to coming out.. we have to wait 15 minutes till electricity come back. 13. Everything is unhygienic everywhere. 14. Horrible experience ever in so called "3 star" hotel. I would not recommend this resort at all. Don't book rooms or any services here.. Better go somewhere else. Waste of money.

I stayed here for one night only but it was an amazing experience. The room I got was nice and very clean with a spotless, clean bathroom. The food I ordered was also delicious. I very much liked the Dal Lasooni. The breakfast buffet the next morning was also delicious with a variety of items. The staff were also very polite. If any one wishes to visit Alappuzha I’d recommend Pagoda Resorts.

Good old-school vibes from this resort room are big and clean. The swimming pool is good well maintained, but just remove the marble around the pool its bit slippery during rain. Just a suggestion upgrade the bathroom tiles it's a bit old style

Worst Resort Ever Stayed!!! 1. Check in process was not systematic, no information was passed on. 2. Rooms where below expected level. Not ver well clean, toilet had bad smell and bed sheet were old and torn. 3. AC and TV were working but remote reminds me about antique shops and doesn't work properly. 4. The most worst part was room service. The room dinning menu is different and available food menu is different. The staff had limited knowledge. 5. Pool was not clean and well maintained. 6. All the amenities at hotel are all antique pieces. 7. Few staffs are well mannered but rest of them need to know what hospitality means. 8. My wife took the spa she was very happy about it.

Unhygienic conditions of rooms. Foul smell in room, smoking smell in whole corridor. Bed mattress are uncomfortable and I bet you couldn't sleep. No water in bathroom, when you call, they release water.... Seriously...... Denied Ala-cart menu and forced to choose from Buffet menu items only.

Property, location, view and facilities are good. But it is poorly managed, combined with unprofessional staff makes it a horrible stay experience. My room intercom was not working to place orders , there was no hot water in the bathroom, and there was no staff to attend any of the complaints.

Room service was pathetic.. TV doesn't work.. No intercom phone.. They need to improve a lot.. only the location is a major plus.. Lot of mosquitoes.. They tried to give us feel of nature by making small animals wander around us..

So far the hotels and it's roos are concerned, it is ok. But there is no facility of bed tea or hot water in the rooms which generally people are used too. inspite of many calls at 226 or 9 we couldn't get morning tea.

The hotel location is very close from city bus stop hence location is 5/5, hotel room service and cleanliness was good, food taste was also decent. View from hotel room was also very nice.Swimming pool was not well maintained. The hotel had power back-up issue the current kept going on and off at night. Breakfast and lunch was very nice but at night hotel didn’t have any fresh cooked food option available only buffets. Overall an average experience.

It was an excellent experience to have come there and enjoying the hospitality and very tasty food.

We have stayed at this hotel and experienced of very poor room service.we have asked for a floor mate in the night but till check out no one has provided it. In our package dinner was not included so they informed us their dinner time but not informed us that they have buffet system in their restaurant . When we entered in their restaurant that time they told us and their food rates was costly and that time outside hotels were closed. In our room there was no intercom,we have to call them from our mobile number . 2nd day we asked for water and they came after 40min. Really having very bad experience with this hotel and their room service and all over service.

The cottage room didn't look fresh when we checked in. Measures had not been taken to make the guest feel welcome n their stay pleasant. Coffee packet was left opened, shampoo bottle was empty, and soda cans were open and spilled in the fridge. Food was of average taste, ordered a hot and sour soup which was spicy than usual and loaded with pepper. Songs were played on tv during breakfast which was very disturbing. The restaurant staff were negectful when talked about these concerns. One of them bluntly refused to prepare anything other than the breakfast buffet menu when asked him so. In all, the hotel was poor in terms of service n hospitality. Need much improvisation.

Good value and they can help you book all kind of activity. The breakfast buffet is good. Just the pool isn’t well maintained, it’s usable but you’ll need a shower after.

Stayed for a day with family , bed and pillows were old and not heigine. Had body massage as well but completely disappointed with service, I had dinner in the restaurant, it looks they served the afternoon lunch items left over. They don't have menu for lunch, just they show print copy of items left over in the lunch, Overall very bad experience with hotel. They need to improve a lot in all aspects

Rooms are average, old and not clean. Even no dial facility in the room. The location is good, easily reachable and the food was good.

The room size is good. But the maintenance is poor. The swimming pool was as if it hadn't been cleaned for weeks. The restaurant cleanliness was poor and the service was poor.

Rooms are very old. Ac are not working and broken too. Service is poor. Power has gone fro more than 11 time in just a night. Staff is not friendly. It is batter to go for another hotel of same category rather than choosing this.

Worst experience ever, we stayed there at thiruvonam day, room was like a garbage room. Room was full of dust, took photos of dust, dirt and spider web, very very poor maintenance. Hotel's phone was not working. TV and AC were making sounds. Totally ruined our day. When we complained about dust and all, there was no response from staff. Totally a big zero.

One of the best resorts in Alapuzha. The management is so kind, polite and he really helped us when we were in need. I can't remember the receptionist name. But I would really wanna thank him for all the help he has done for us. We will always remember our short trip to Alapuzha

Drinking water is not clean. Staff is rude. Dinner quality and quantity are very poor. Wifi was not working. Lizards inside pool changing room. Just fancy rooms but no maintainence.

2 star for this property, location is very good, situated near by city and backwater and property is big too 2 Star for the Aminities, Swiming pool is the only good Aminitie here rest all they are charging 0 star for service, No proper guidance, we ask them for house boat ride (they dont have that), we ask them for Kayaking, they denied, but all these thing mention in their services 0 star for the breakfast, only 4 items they have in the breakfast and that too tasteless, only tea and coffee and when you ask milk they said it is chargeble, (No Sambhar, No idli, No vada, No Dosa), worst breakfast, at the end we have to go out for the breakfast Overall i rate the stay in 2 star out of 5

Used to be a good place but realised over time that their quality has gone bad. Breakfast was bad and dinner is taste less and the team is least concerned. If you are not looking for amenities like swimming pool or Spa better look for an other place.

One of the worst resorts I have ever stayed. Rated 1 star to post this worst experience, else i would have given zero rating. Dont trust the fake 5 start reviews and photos which are taken long back. Stayed in the cottage and it had very nice ambience. Pool was nice and food was excellent. Very affordable rates. Had a look at normal rooms, they were spacious, but ha a cheap look and smell. They have the potential to be developed into better rooms may be with higher rates.

First of all this resort is a little old one . Don't expect high fancy anything. We had a bad experience during checkin we were asked to come at 10.30 and when we came they told the cleaning was going on only and it will take upto 1 hr. So we had to wait another hour to get the room. The lame excuse the receptionist gave was our staff come late for cleaning. Coming to the room which we stayed it was spacious and good. Food was decent from the restaurant Also the pool and areas in the resort is also nice

Let Haters Hate it! Everything was good and working! Even if something is not rite, they are kind enough to fix it in minutes. For the price this is such a great resort. Pool needs more maintenance thats it, Rest all very good. Rooms are very big and have a balcony, Make sure you book Superior Deluxe rooms.

It's a horrible place with horrible service and food too....the rooms are full of mosquitos, their wifi doesn't work at all, no tv, no door bell or telephone in the room. Snacks are unexpectedly stale and tasteless and most serving pans are usually empty. Didn't expect to have such a horrible experience in this resort. Staff also behaved like goons, staff looked rude, all resort facilities were in bad condition, towels were in bad condition, AC was in very rotten condition, no intercom phone facility, no door bell. ,The light in the room was off, the bathroom was also in a dilapidated condition. Mosquitoes were in large numbers. All the inconveniences were reported to the staff several times but no help was received from them.. Worst experience in life in this resort..

we booked this hotel for Our guest from DMC .Bad experience in pagoda resort We stayed last night 14 august 22 at Pagoda resort allepy. Rooms and services were poor.Ac not working properly and no remote working.Towels were not in using condition.Beer bottles and garbage were kept out side rooms when we reached there.Room building was very old and not maintained ,no balcony.Intercom not working.Overall it was bad experience of well-known hotel. even front office also not behave good . rudely behave

It's worst Resort. Sorry just kind of homestay. But better or excellent homestays are available same place. Not family friendly. No privacy. Below average food. No kids meals available. Insects are coming inside room. TV available without set-up box. Obviously not working.no light outside cottage. Responsible persons are not ready to talk. I booked through makemytrip and they also simply calling and not resolving the issue. They only saying Resort people are not ready to talk them also. While going only available number in makemytrip and Google are not working. Very bad experience.

We stayed in a cottage for 2 days..Service is not satisfactory...channel subscription for TV expired..took long time to get a tea, problemwith ac remote also.. room and toilet were good..they have to improve services

It is a nice place to stay, we loved this place. It is located close to boating and transport. The price also reasonable. Only discomfort is you get coffee or tea only after 7.30am. Just outside is a milma shop where we had tea in the morning.

Dear All, I have been through worst experience with Pagoda resort. Below are the detailed points, 1) No window is having iron grill, which is very dengerous for kids to stay. 2) Frequent electricity fluctuation happens. 3) Food quality and taste is not good. They make beef in their restourant. 4) Gym is their but of 2-3 equipments 5) Staff is so rude. They don't care for their customers. 6) hot water comes for limited period only. 7) Towels provided were having bloody spots. How can we use such towels. 8) Dulux rooms Bathrooms are of too small size and Standard room bathrooms are very dirty. 9) it's is very more than 2-3 km distant from beach, houseboat and shikara ride. My humble request to not to choose this hotel for stay.

we stayed there as part of kerala tour from Veena world, the property is too old and not renovated, there is no wifi, not even in the lobby! The rooms are old style and aged, worn out, the washrooms, wash basins, faucets are old and worn out they clearly show their age and pity they are not replaced. there is bath tub but buckets is also kept it is so inconvenient to take bath with faulty ergonomics. simple thing like remote for air-conditioner has no back cover! dinner was okayish.... on the day we checked out there was another large tourist group and the staff simply couldn't manage it. the idlis were half cooked, there were no bowls for sambar, utter chaos, incase you manage to take food on your plate there is no table free to sit..... a very poor experience by any standard.

Though the hotel is ideal for a tourist destination, some fine tuning is required in upkeep of rooms, reception lobby, and the whole compound surrounding the building. The location on the bank of back water canal is fine. The food was good and served hot and fresh. We enjoyed the food and the spread was suiting almost all Indian tastes. The mini zoo (pet animals) was interesting, and a good way to warm up guests mood, but the maintenance of the cages and environment requires more attention. Except for the initial interest to see the novel pet enclosures, the interest fades for a second visit as it not maintained well. The ornamental plants and bushes require pruning. The hotel building, the gate and the compound wallrequires a wash and fresh painting apt to the surroundings. Over all we were very much satisfied with our stay at the hotel. The suggestions made are purely my personal opinion and perception.

Even one star is a big thing for this resort. First of all it is a hotel and not a resort, do not get misled by the pics. Second, the staff's attitude is out of this world, they speak with such low interest and respect to the customers that it puts you off. My room had no intercom and the receptionist told me to call up 9. I called their front desk number and it was always unanswered. 3 to 4 times I went down from 6th floor to the reception to get my query answered and they were so rude that I wanted to hit him. It was just one night that I was staying here and they made it a hell. Do not suggest this hotel to your worst enemies as well.
