Agree with most reviewers that the food is OK but Oh! so disorganised! Ordered for 7pm, told it would be 7.20. 7.45 came and told he was just leaving (10 minutes away) 8.30 arrived - Zilch, Exchanges of phone calls (when not engaged) fially arrived at 9.20. Had thought about eating my own foot by then. Sort out your order issues! maybe a member of staff whoknows how to organise.

Amazing 👏 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Smoke Flavour coming of the Jerk chicken is so good 💨 You can literally smell it as soon as you pop lid off! By far best Jerk chicken I have Tried 🍗 BBQ Jerk Burger is unreal and chips are nice and lightly salted 🍟

Received my order on time, the chicken was covered in yummy jerk sauce and grilled perfectly- tender and moist. Enjoyed rice and mixed of vegetables. Highly recommend and will order again.

The jerk chicken was tender, juicy and had a lovely smokey savoury flavour- so good! The curried goat was also tender and really flavourful. Delivery was on point too. The mac and cheese could have a bit more seasonings though, but nevertheless it was all really good and Halal too!

Ordered from here quite a few times! I do love me some jerk island grill. The bbq sauce and plantains are just so delicious! It’s really a finger licking meal. Deffo would recommend, they do a good deal at lunch time too :)

I had a birthday party for fifty guests. Before placing my order I wanted to make sure we would be happy with the food. I ordered some food that arrived hot tasty, and delicious so had no hesitation in placing the order for the party. I spoke with a man named Keon he was very helpful and professional and listened to what I wanted. A few of my guests are vegetarian, so needed a vegetarian option which wasn't a problem. I also had to change the date and amend the options several times which again wasn't an issue. On the day of the party, the driver arrived with the food he was friendly polite and professional, and the food was hot. The food was outstanding my guests said it was the best they had tasted we ordered the following items: Rice and Peas, Jerk Chicken, Beef Patties, Chicken Patties, Vegetarian Patties, Festival, Vegetarian Curry, Coleslaw, Steam Vegetables, Plantains, Mac Cheese, Apple Pie, Caribbean Cake, Rum Punch, My guests couldn't stop raving about it and were praying they would be able to take food back with them. Hahaha….. Jerk Island Grill did me, proud. Thank you and your staff for all their help and will definitely be using your services again. The rum punch went down a treat too that's a must-have.

We had chicken takeaway and not only was fantastic, it was also half the price of Chinese and Indian. £10 each for a great big beautifully cooked meal. Load of chicken. Highly recommended

Jerk chicken is WOW REALLY, the meat is tender just falling of the bone Chicken and Lamb paties ( the meat inside is just so real ), big portions...My first time all the way from Billericay but it was definetly worth it...looking forward to try other dishes... Thanks

Went there for the first time today, this is the best jerk chicken I have had in a long time. The sauce is to die for… the rice is perfect and it just absolutely slaps! Boss man even threw in a free rice aswel 😅. Yea they take a bit long to come but you can’t rush perfection… It’s 100% worth the wait. Can not recommend enough!!

Food is great best in southend but its like they take orders when they want to and hardly ever pick up the phone or its always going to voicemail its a shame

Honestly the best Caribbean take out restaurant I have managed to find in the local area. The food was cooked fresh to order and remained hot despite living 20 minutes away. Would highly recommend and look forward to trying more of the menu..!

Love, love, love Jerk Island grill. Their ackee and saltfish is always on point! Minimal oil, fresh vegetables, 50/50 of fish and ackee, no cheating! Service is always with a smile. They just need their own restaurant!! Im first in line!👏🏾👏🏾

Just had our first take away from here and I couldn’t not leave a review - absolutely delicious, the freshest, tastiest, Caribbean we’ve had - the portions were huge, the flavours were out of this world - don’t get me started on the fried dumplings and macaroni cheese mmmmmmmm……well done guys - we will be back for sure! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Higher recommend this place wouldn’t go anywhere else but definitely don’t think you should remove the meal deals! I personally think £7.99 for just the chicken is a little overpriced and would put customers off. But on that note. I wouldn’t go anywhere else 10/10 food and service! 🤟👏

Tried this place 3 times to give them a chance, in case they were just having a bad day...sadly every time same result - food takes 2+ hrs to arrive, owner gives false information about arrival time, Just Eat estimated time when ordering is completely wrong. Totally lost faith now so won't be using again. Shame!

Amazing food with that home cooked taste. Good quality and reasonably priced. Even got some extra rice and peas. Go here to eat if you are hungry!
