It's a nice shopping centre, light spacious, very clean and well maintained. Excellent clean toilet facilities, just sadly far to many empty units. Shops there are useful, but the place badly needs more names and brands. This place really deserves far more recognition and success. Blame the council for allowing far too many out of town faceless retail units!

It's a really good shopping centre. Good few shops and everyone is fighting for the costumers, which is turn is good for shoppers getting more for their money.

A great selection of shops to visit (New Looks, Peacocks, Next and more). As well as this, they also have a range of activities centres for children and adults including IndiRock. Excited to see what else the Victoria Shopping Centre will be bringing to Southend.

I come to Victoria Shopping Centre when I have a shopping list that warrants a trip to town and, more often than not, I don't need to go any further. I can even get my blood tests done there, and there are clean toilets and a nice place for a coffee.

The best thing is it's exit sign. Small, escalators not working, very few shops, unkept, miserable/depressed staff. Lucky the place was small otherwise we wouldn't be able to find to find shops.

Fair range of shops, although quite a few units were empty. The shopping centre looked clean and tidy, it's well maintained.

Good place for shopping, from Poundland to Next there is something for everyone. It has to be said that the top floor is heavily underutilised, yes there are a couple of stores etc... but there is room for improvement, but all in all it was OK for Southend-on-Sea when we were a town but now we are a city, you can do better.

The shops which are there are great. I think the council could work out plans for small companies to have reduced costs. This could fill the empty shops and improve the experience.

Like most shopping centres these days, adequate, but looking a bit tired with some units empty. Loos clean tho.

  • 3/5 Rob F. 1 year ago on Google
Opening hours are different to what is stated on the page. Page says that the centre is open until 10pm but after talking to centre management after a bit of confusion I got told that the centre actually closes at 6pm

Always liked here, just a pity there are so many empty units, but some good shops non the less.

The whole of Southend is a fantastic high street with 2 indoor shopping centres,on this occasion in the Victoria I was actually having a blood test,A1+ for experience, no pain , well organized top facility

The shopping centre at the heart of Southend on sea is an ever busy arena where several hundreds of shoppers daily visit to buy and sell commodities, goods and services. It is home to several of the UK's leading banks and other financial institutions. It is equally a walking distance from the southend borough council and other administrative divisions of the city. It is easily accessible by bus, taxis, trains as well as hundreds of parking spaces for those who visit in their cars.

A fairly standard British shopping centre. Inside there's the usual high street suspects. Basically you'll find the likes of Boots, Next and Deichman etc on the ground floor and many independent stores on the 1st. Inside is also very modern and looks like it's been refurbished recently and everything looks new and clean. There's several options for eating, though nothing special. Nothing wrong with the shopping centre if you're in the city anyway. Sadly as with many shopping centres in the UK, Victoria also suffers from closed shops and several of the units lie empty. There's no need to go out of the way to visit.

Shopping centre ok. Parking was a bad experience. We parked there to do a bit of shopping, then walked down to seafront and had fish and chips. Parked just after 12.00 thought it would be £6.50 for 6 hours then free after 6.00pm as other car parks in Southend. Left car park at 8.00pm,tried to pay on exit at the barrier, would not work other cars behind me had to back up on an awkward bend then had to leave the car at the barrier to go to back to inside pay machine, which worked £12. ☹️

Shame that so many of the shops are empty but what is there is pretty good; new look, next, boots and a shoe shop plus several independent stores for all sorts of things. Nice little cafe in the middle as well!

  • 3/5 Matt C. 1 year ago on Google
So very different to how it used to be, now fully enclosed Boots, New Look, Next, Peacocks & Wilkinsons are the main retailers along with a few independent shops. Lots of empty units esp 1st floor. Clean and tidy toilets good and clean to. Car park above shopping centre is pay on exit. Car park is now ticketless it picks.up your number plate on entry. When you leave you need to go.to the payment machined on the ground and 1st floor, enter your car reg the machine will then tell you your pq4king cost pay with card or cash. When you get to the exit barrier this will now raise automatically.

Visited the NHS Blood Sample place as I had to give a sample of my blood. Its the first time to this place. I walked around the entire centre before I found where I was supposed to go. No signs apart from a hand-written piece of cardboard on the coffee shop counter. The NHS place itself was OK. Pleasant & polite reception staff & lovely phlebotomist.

Clean, accessible, very handy. Just a shame the bottom floor is so empty looking now Wilko has gone

  • 3/5 Rachael and Rob S. 8 months ago on Google
Always clean and easy to get to. Shame so many shops are empty so isn't really much to do here apart from next, deichmans, wilkos and the cafe!

  • 3/5 Gary B. 4 months ago on Google
Not bad wilco closed down so that was whole of bottom tier closed really some good clothes shops could do with more

  • 4/5 Justinian M. 5 months ago on Google
It's fine, you can find a lot of stuff here. But missing one star as the cake stand at the entrance is gone. I used to buy a lot of delicious cakes there.

  • 5/5 Barry I. 6 months ago on Google
Great shopping centre does have a lot of empty units that need new Retail Shops to attract more shoppers.

  • 3/5 Janine K. 6 months ago on Google
It has two lifts in the entire building, with over 20 shops and upto 7 floors and two lifts is not enough. You have mothers with push chairs and people in wheelchairs, elderly and people afraid of escalators all cramming into two elevators. Otherwise, there are not enough wheelchair accessible toilets but the floor to manoeuvre is smooth once you have gotten up the hill.

  • 2/5 Opinionated V. 11 months ago on Google
The only reason is getting 2 stars is because the blood test clinic was so welcoming and clean, when I got out of that bit I just wanted to run out straight. It's literally not such as shopping centre, it barely got any shops in there. Unfortunately not visiting again, until there is actually shops inside

Title: A Shopper's Paradise: Vicgoris Shopping Centre Review Review: I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Vicgoris Shopping Centre, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! From the moment I stepped foot inside, I was captivated by its inviting atmosphere, wide array of stores, and attentive staff. First and foremost, the layout of the shopping centre is fantastic. It is thoughtfully designed, making it easy to navigate and explore the various shops without feeling overwhelmed. Whether you're on a mission to find a specific item or simply looking for some retail therapy, Vicgoris has got you covered! Speaking of shops, this place truly has something for everyone. From high-end fashion boutiques to quirky little stores filled with unique trinkets, you'll find it all here. I was particularly impressed with the variety of stores and the diverse range of products available. Whether you're a fashionista, a tech enthusiast, or a food lover, you're guaranteed to discover something that catches your eye. What sets Vicgoris Shopping Centre apart from others is the exceptional customer service. The staff members are friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist you with a smile. They go above and beyond to make your shopping experience a pleasant one, ensuring you feel valued and well taken care of. Whether I needed help finding a specific store or had questions about a product, the staff was always there to lend a hand. Another aspect that impressed me was the cleanliness and upkeep of the shopping centre. It was evident that the management takes great pride in maintaining a tidy and aesthetically pleasing environment for shoppers. The common areas were spotless, and the facilities were well-maintained, adding to the overall pleasant experience. Furthermore, I appreciated the amenities offered by Vicgoris. The shopping centre boasts a wide range of dining options, ensuring you never go hungry during your shopping spree. There are also comfortable seating areas strategically placed throughout the centre, allowing shoppers to take a break and rejuvenate before continuing their shopping adventure. In conclusion, I cannot recommend Vicgoris Shopping Centre enough. It truly is a shopper's paradise, offering a delightful blend of stores, helpful staff, and a pleasant ambiance. Oh dear this place is depressing. The star is for having good and clean toilets. There are shops open inside but you wouldn't know it. Sorry

There are now several small tables selling bric a brac, and apparently a climbing wall and a games area with bar, not well signposted as I walked by without seeing it or any signs. I saw the defunct Mr Tangs, A better looking coffee area, a few shops, but nothing of great appeal. Better advertising and signage, perhaps a few more craft fair stalls selling better crafts. I would walk through from the car park, but wouldn't worry if I didn't go there again.

Escalators out of order, parking payment machine out of order, no way to pay for parking at the bottom level. A sixties shopping centre that refurbs haven't upgraded to the 21st century.

Depressing, soul less, it's really only as a last resort that I now visit Southend. There's many homeless and mentally ill people who obviously aren't getting the support they need.

Strange place, great toilets some must visit shops pound land, Wilko etc. Lots of empty units. Sad to see Vic shoes has gone. Strange to be confronted by a puff head female window tint applicator on the first floor. Brooks I think the shop was she was working at. Not alot to do whilst waiting for someone to complete a lesson. I would suggest to said stoner if you don't like being watched at work drop a dust sheet or ply up rather than aggressively confronting people in a public place! Paranoid?

  • 4/5 Nicole S. 3 years ago on Google
The shops that are available are good but could definitely do with some more better shops as there isn't a great deal of choice and i think it could that all the empty shops spaces could be filled with shops that are great for low spending like the pound shop and wilko. If this was done then I would one hundred percent give it 5 ⭐
