Dangerous for women, reception workers act like predators, they have no boundaries. Not a hotel and not even close to being one. Expensive for the service and "quality". Miserable service, amateur incompetent workers, that dont have a clue about working with customers. Miserable at the point in which workers threat the guests. Worst hostel I have been. Miserable experience. Expensive for how bad it is.

Booked a room for the wrong night accidently. I intended to stay with them the same night I was booking but somehow the date ended up being 2 weeks in the future. I contacted the property right away and management refused to cancel the reservation for the future date. Just poor service. If this is the type of service someone can expect as representative of the property, it doesn't reflect well on how they treat their guests.

Bad youth hostel, not hotel, 1 star, no elevator, no room blinds so early sun wakes you, terrible service, low quality amenities, no storage in room, bad breakfast, and all this for ,a very high price. Misleading ads

Very nice hotel with a very cute and cozy vibe. Staff were excellent- helpful and friendly! Breakfast was included in the morning and was delicious and a variety of options. In a nice location to walk to other hot spots in the city. We enjoyed our stay!

Great hotel with great staff. One of the friendliest hotels ever. The hotel might not be a match for some people (see other reviews), but this hotel is definitely for you if you like an authentic experience instead of corporate impersonal chique.

Nice décor, impressive at first sight but disappointing in the end. Too expensive for the service. Poor-quality breakfast. Stains on bath towels and mattress. Carpet in the stairs not vacuumed. Aircon needs filters changed, funny smell. Located under an air corridor. Check if the construction works in the street are still running. On a more positive note: good bus service closeby.

Such an amazing place where to stay in Lisbon! Rooms are comfortable, the whole Guesthouse has a beautiful Bali inspired style, break rich and most of all the staff is kind, friendly and have offered a service over the top. Well located between Belém and Lisbon centre, you can pay 3/4 euros to reach those areas via Bolt or Uber, which I highly recommend. Also close to the airport, our Bolt fare was of only 8 Euros

Loved this place. Staff is extraordinary kind and attentive. Breakfast included, you tell them what time you would like to eat. Fruit, yog, toast, cereal, etc, plus hot dishes from the kitchen. Very safe and secure, key card entry at the door and an attendant right there. No elevator, but rooms accessible and just a few steps from the wide stairs. Very nice place to stay, highly recommend.

This was our first visit to Lisboa, and from our initial email with the hotel, which provided suggestions for dining options, we were extremely pleased. The staff was incredibly friendly. We were able to get into our room early, which was a huge help given we had been traveling for so long from the US and were exhausted. We were welcoemd with a bottle of wine as it had been our anniversary recently. This was so thoughtful and sweet. The room was spacious and comfortable. The included breakfast was ample. We chose this area of the city to be away from the more touristy-parts, but still have access to easy public transport. We absolutely recommend Garam Lisboa and think it an excellent choice for travellers. We have been to many places around the world, and this was one of the best - a small boutique hotel with caring staff. You will not regret choosing this place!

a really bad and poor youth hostel. Not a real hotel. No elevator, bad breakfas ver imited with poor quality food. Terrible cramped room, no storage space, no way to shut out external light, unclean room with bad quality amenities. Not 4-star but more a one-star bad place. we will stay away. very very expensive for the low quality.

Quaint and clean hotel with beautiful rooms! Breakfast room and patio were lovely 😊 the location was good……nice quiet neighborhood and walking distance to a few restaurants but a bus ride to most shopping and historic areas.

Just to make it clear. I am more than happy to have chosen this location. The Breakfast, like at home. The Team, like Friends. When I come back to Lisboa, I get there again. Believe me, during my company travels I have seen a lot around the world and Europe and I would say they deserved a 5 Star Friend Home award. I can’t understand the feedback below from “Jica Raca” … just can be a feedback from a competition Hotel or a person who is just used of a 7Star Hotel in Dubai 😂😂 Keep your standard and all is good 😊

Beautiful property very well looked after and decorated. Breakfast area is beautiful and makes you feel you're somewhere else in the world - like in Bali or on a beach in Thailand. The room was very comfy and clean. The service was probably the best I received in all my trips to Portugal (and there were many). Ana and Tamires (and the other members of staff which I am sorry I didn't get the names of) really made me feel at home and represent the best the Portuguese hospitality.

Walking distance to National Museum of Antiquities, (great Hyronymous Bosch triptich, and many other wonders!) If you don't eat at O Palacio seafood, you must not like brilliant seafood or service! Can't say enough good things about the staff, decor location or helpfulness! 24 hour coffee. Brilliant. Just Brilliant!

One of my favorite hotels ever, because of the attentive service. This boutique hotel is adorable, with a great aesthetic and yummy breakfast. Coffee, tea, and fruit are available all day. Breakfast is staggered because of space, so they ask you everyday what time you will be having breakfast the next day. I didn't love that... I'm not a morning person, it can be hard to predict breakfast. The towels are large and soft, and my room came with a free liter of water. There's also a mini fridge with affordable drinks and snacks. There are restaurants in walking distance. Construction across the street made for some noisy moments. There's no elevator, but Davi helped me with my bag. There is no doortag to decline turn down service if you don't want it. An iron and blowdryers are available to borrow at the front desk. I received a welcome glass of wine for being an Expedia VIP 😊 Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

I spent a week here earlier this month and thoroughly enjoyed the experience! 😀. Great location, great breakfast and clean, comfortable, quiet rooms. The bathroom is a bit small, but that was clear from the photos prior. Davi and the rest of the staff are super friendly and very helpful. Lisbon is a great destination, and I recommend Garam Lisboa for your stay.

Really beautiful guesthouse in Lisbon , highly recommend booking at this guesthouse . The staff is really friendly and fun , and the place is well organized. The breakfast is delicious especially the fresh fruits and the bacon and eggs . The rooms give me Bali vibes but in Lisbon . It’s close to all the places you would want to visit in Lisbon . Great location .

Terrible unclean room. Poor low quality amenities. Bad breakfast. No way to shut out external light, very expensive compared to the low quality, no elevator, service was bot good. No room for luggage no storage in tiny room. More 1 star and not 4 star. Very bad.

Very kind and attentive staff. Breakfast was ok, not special but good. Rooms are pretty, the door to the bathroom was a little loose. The area of the hotel is connected with Belem or the city center by a 10 min bus ride. The bus stops really near by the hotel.

We had a lovely stay at Garam Lisboa, thanks Davi for making us feel so welcome. Thanks for all the great tips and help whenever we needed it. Our room was beautiful, spacious, very clean and smelled great. The only thing we missed in our room was a bigger window for more natural sunlight. But I’m sure you can ask for this when you book your room.

Amazing service/staff. Rita and Catarina were both helpful and incredibly friendly. The room was cute and I enjoyed staying there. The only issue I had is for the two bedroom room we got, the bathroom door has a bit of a gap in the wood that you can easily see through. However this wasn't that big of an issue. Would reccomend if you decide to stay in Lisbon
