A unique old school tavern mainly frequented by locals, with very affordable dishes of the day and sensibly priced drinks...Great atmosphere

Lovely location & friendly staff, i had coffee & cake, it was ridiculously cheap. Perfect little place to stop for a rest and just people watch. Its at the start of the umbrella street so cute view when sitting out. I enjoyed sitting outside here

Absolutely brilliant at what it does... Local fisherman's bar.. Proper people, proper food and proper moonshine 😂😂.. Absolutely love this place, a go to every time we come here

As soon as a table in the street was available, they moved all our plates to allow us to eat outside. Eating in these streets behind the Main Street is really a nice experience. Fish stew was very good and served in less than 5 min. Service is exceptional - some of the nicest people we have came across in Portugal !

Been to the Seven Stars many times, good traditional portuguese bar, great place to sit outside and chill with a drink.They even serve Erdinger and the landlord makes a fine art of pouring the drink for you, well worth watching! Always a good experience, that's why we keep coming back.

Lovely little bar. Been here a few times over the years. Great wine and alcohol free beer for my partner. The people there are also extremely friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Delighful little local bar close to the market, selling locally produced wine & snacks (wine dispensed directly from huge barrels at the back of bar) very poplar bar with locals, who often call in with empty containers & leave with them full. Tons of character & the perfect place to spend a sunny afternoon soaking up the atmosphere.

This bar has been owned by 5 generations of family more than 💯 years. And thats only as their history ends there, the owner recon’s his family may have owned it longer. The building is 159 to 200 years old. Typical building style of Faro and Ohlaõ. Sold architecturally…..

Spent a fair amount of our weekend in Olhão in this place. Charming, rustic bar with a great atmosphere, Superbock stout, and presunto and cheese if you're hungry. An absolute gem of a pub.

Arriving late for lunch,2.15pm, we were looked after really well with a beautiful fish stew platter of local fresh fish which was perfect. It really did hit the spot. Many thanks

Traditional locals bar down a side street opposite the market. Very cheap drinks/food. Always popular, there's nowhere else like it in Olhao!

This should be your first stop. Asked the locals for restaurant recommendations. Get the true taste of what the region has to offer. Beer glasses are cold and the moonshine you cant find any supermarket. They do serve meals but you need to reserve!

We felt very welcome as we entered this Traditional Portuguese bar/restaurant, people rose to meet us and chat to us. A definite must! A glass of local wine was only €0.60!!!
