Good to bring children as it is very educational to show them the nursery and the garden. They both need to be watered regularly though as they are almost dying. Otherwise it is definitely so beautiful if all are in good condition. The place has a cafe too and some tables. There is a small area for grapes to grow and I was very surprised how uber sweet the grapes were!!! I just hope the staffs and management put more effort in maintaining this beautiful place!

A perfect hidden place to escape and relax with a cup of coffee (or a glass of wine) while having the best view over Lisbon from the other side of the Tague. The entrance to the botanical garden and (exhibition) building is free!

I didn't have time to finish my visit, but loved every minute of it - I am unable to review the exhibitions for that reason. The views are stunning and the botanical garden has a lot of potential

Excellent center of contemporary art and lovely garden (where they produce a bunch of art materials that they planted themselves) and an amazing view to Lisbon. A must go to art lovers and enthusiasts.

Free to visit arts hub with nice gardens and a cafeteria. It's more or less at the top of the elevator or very steep staircase leading up from the quayside. Has superb views from the garden.

A nice shopkeeper told us that the best views of the city were from this garden and she was right! The art museum is just the right size and the snacks are fresh—what’s not to love? You’ve earned it if you walk up—but you can also take the elevator! @kimyarla

Great view of Lisbon and a beautiful well kept garden around it. There is a small coffee shop with all the basics for a nice afternoon. It also has a art gallery where you can find local artists' works.

Beautiful building with a lovely Cafe and gardens. The interior displays were somewhat sparce when we went but it was the off season so they may have been resetting them.

The museum waa fantastic but what really played on my.heart strings was the artist garden and the view over the Tagus and Lisbon. Totally worth the visit. Can't beat it. I was there in Feb and it was a rainy day, imagining the view is different in the sun.

👍👍 Definitely worth a visit ! It's not a very common place for tourists to visit, but it was the highlight of my trip to Lisbon. Take the ferry from Cais do Sodre.
