Grocery shopping is a hobby of mine and one of my favourite things to do while traveling is visit local supermarkets. I was completely blown away by Auchan, it’s HUGE! I easily spent 2+ hours just exploring and looking at the variety of products available. A must visit for all foodies!

Reduction in stars as closed and not indicated clearly on website of mall (of course, can understand as it is a public holiday). Almost entire mall open and I came to go to Auchan. Continente is the choice then for today.

It's a great place for shopping. You can find almost everything from this place.

What a massive hypermarket. This is one of the biggest we have been in. Caters for everything and everyone. The electronic/electrical section is separate though.

The prices are very high and products are not the best. Package meet is not the greatest.my wife bought package hamburger's fresh but they did not taste great. And they are always moving things in the store every year. They just built a gourmet section kitchen that I have never seen working. They have To much money that they do not know what to do to with it. Maybe pay there employees better.

It's a short walk from the primary mall entrance. This store has everything. Big bags of nuts. Big bags of generic frozen vegetables. Super selections for everything.

Impressive grocery store. It is very large and well laid out with a great selection of products. The mall also had free parking making it super convenient.

You can almost find anything in this place... Fresh produce is average though... but there fish section is huge!

Be careful when you buy electronic products there, today we coming back with two heaters who unfortunately was not fitting our need, the employees from the after sales service was very racist as we are not portuguese we try to explain our issues in a approximative Portuguese ( sorry I just have a B1 but still technical language is complicated) but we got a NO PORTUGUESE NO RETURN... following the after sales rules we got 30 days to return our product and we are only 6 days. now we are with two useless heaters, thanks Auchan

Bad experience even! I bring back properly two heaters because my house do not have enough electricity capacity for those products. I bought it on the January 27th so only since 7 days. The employee was horrible saying that : « No Portuguese No return! » I’m choked my the attitude of this person more than about the fact that she didn’t accept the return. I do no recommend this place as a French native I never had this issue with any French brand.
