We found the place by chance and we were pleasantly surprised to discover this gem! The chef is very creative and cares about the products he uses. The food was delicious and flavourful. We had Pad Thai and Croquettes - both were great! Everything is made from scratch and you can feel the love and passion for fresh food that is done from local ingredients. Even the lemonade was freshly juiced. My non-vegan husband enjoyed every bite. This place is highly recommended for vegans and non-vegans.

🥬 D E L I C I O U S VEGAN FOOD Found this gem on our second day and we probably will have Brunch here again. We shared the vegan Brunch plate and re-ordered the mouthwatering avo-toast with tempura tofu.

The food was excellent. The service was just ok. They are amicable, but they didn't have a menu and at the end there was no bill, they just told us how much it was. This meant we did not know exactly what we were ordering and also we don't know if we paid the right price. We had a brunch for two. with a Salmon bruschetta and a veggie bruschetta (tofu). 2 orange juices and 2 coffees. It was 35,70eur.

I would have added 6 stars if I could. The food was amazing looking and tasty, as if they were pieces of art, and the staff were super friendly and warm! We really really enjoyed the meal. ❤ thank you for the great service and food! They also made us vegan friendly variants of dishes as we were looking for vegan only food.

The experience was great. The food was a welcome change from many seafood options. Was so nice to have a great tasty vegan options and fresh fish for everyone to be happy with the selections. I was amazed at the very well executed appetizers and entrees. It was like being in a five star restaurant. One of the best dining experiences in the Lisbon area. Well worth the trip and I look forward to returning. I have already told all my friends. Thank you again for sharing your expertise and letting us benefit from your choice to provide excellent food and service. Redge Hanna

This place is a true gem in Almada offering unique healthy dishes and plant-based options at affordable prices. Each dish is carefully and lovingly crafted to perfection by the passionate and very friendly chef/owner. Be sure to try the Bao buns, they were so delicious we regret not eating more!

Hands up the best food we had in Portugal during our stay, the drinks were exellent, the food was delicious and the staff was amazing. They were really helpful with tipping us off with less known beaches and things to do off the beaten track. If you're in the area, you simply have to eat here. 10/10!

Set in an inconspicuous street at the edge of Almada's old neighbourhood, Avocado is a great place for a brunch. Incredible value for money, lots of great food, and really nice personnel. 5/5.

Amazing service and really amazing food. Our waitress was extremely friendly and welcoming. We had the vegan brunch for 2, an amazing price for the quantity and quality of food we got and the chef even took the time to explain how he creates his vegan dishes. The presentation of the food was also just stunning. Would highly highly recommend.

Great brunch! We had the full plate (tenho fome) for two. It was a good amount of food for 30 euros. Maybe it would be nice to have at least one beverage included in the price. The brunch is also a nice excuse to visit Almada :).

Loved the food incl the almonds dessert by grandma’s recipe! Staff also very kind. I went there for lunch and for lunch it is quite pricey. But would come back!

As much as I hope Almada has some restaurants with different food idea, something there (sorry to say) just not working right. The setting inside is different than the pictures shown on google. There are quite a lot of small insects flying around. The orange juice is with the smallest short glasses yet still there were 3 big block of ice! After I toke them out, half a glass is left for two sips. That’s costing €3. And for water, don’t know where they found the smallest bottle of 250/350ml from, and cost us €1.5! Then it’s the food, I was hoping at least it’s good then it’s fine. They are complete disaster! Zero requirement for a chef at all. Basically they cut everything, either briefly boil/ raw and then out into a bowl of either 2 bites of rice (without Japanese vinegar seasoning!), or a big bowl of rice noodles. Add everything from petiscos to main, use the same Thai sweet and sour sauce u can buy from supermarket and told u to mix them before eating. One more thing, for some reason, every dish no matter what u order will be covered by load of salsa, and a pile of dried lemon grass (which doesn’t have any smell/taste) and both doesn’t seems to be chewable or for eating! After all these, we dare not to try any further desert. Such dinner cost us the same as we go to a good Portuguese restaurant.

Decent food quality although the chef loves parsley too much. Neve had a brownie with parsley before as decoration. Also a bit excessive on the sweet hot sauce in most of the dishes. But overall a good experience
