Best 60 minutes we have spent since arriving. Pedro is very knowledgeable about all the caves we visited. He is an excellent boat captain. He maneuvered his boat in areas that did not seem possible so we could get the greatest views of the caves. If you are planning a trip to the Algarve and want a tour of the caves, make sure you find aurora boat trips. Pedro and Mauro are excellent at what they do. Language is not a problem, they speak English, Portuguese, and French. Possibly more. I would recommend one of the early tours, it gets hot. Also, try to be the first in line and sit at the front. You can get better pictures. Thanks Pedro and Mauro for a great hour. And always remember, you don’t know history if you don’t know Portugal. When is comes to exploring and navigation…. We did it first.

Probably the most memorable experience of our Portugal trip! The guides were super friendly, explained everything about the caves and helped us find the curious animals and items created by the sea and the wind, and even took the time to take some photos of us 🌟. The boat trip was lovely and the landscape more than beautiful. Would definitely recommend this worthy experience filled with some of the best-rated beaches.

Absolutely the best boat trip experience ever. The captain was able to get us right into the caves for a closer look and some amazing photos. To top it off, we then saw wild dolphins following the boat home. Can't recommend Aurora more. Well worth it and cheaper than other guides

Absolutely fantastic boat trip. Very informative, interesting and lots of fun ! They were very helpful, made sure that everyone was okay, and they made sure that everyone could see lots of amazing sights on the trip. The trip itself was beautiful. This is a great trip and excellent value. Our crew were friendly and informative with great local knowledge of the coast and its history. We really enjoyed this and would recommend Aurora. Much better than the larger cruise boats s we were able to get right into the caves. Thank you.

Ivan was an amazing guide! We really enjoyed our trip! We joined just to see Benagil but we got a trip to many other caves along the way. Ivan is able to communicate in many different languages! He told us about the cliffs and caves and fishermen and beaches for the whole ride. He took a photo of us at Benagil standing in the boat which I love. My other half doesn’t recommend drinking too much the night before! I recommend jumping to get the front seat for the best photos, we were in the middle for a less bumpy ride. The captain was great also, he gave a spin of the boat so that everyone in the boat could get a great photo angle where possible. He was watching the waves and making sure we were in the best possible place while avoiding all the big splashes. Adventurous and fun! The captain told us about a chapel and a mountain tunnel that we passed by, which we then visited later in the evening. In the boat, no shoes- they store them there safely. We kept our bags- I had a large beach bag- no problem. At the end of the trip the captain takes off like a rocket to land back up on the sand and you have to hold on tight with both hands gripping the back of your seat, so it’s not for the faint hearted. Fun!

We had a beautiful experience in the 10 caves 1 hour trip by boat. The boat goes inside all the caves very deep and allows you to see many details. The guides are very prepared and tell you a lot of interesting things while making you laugh as well. Very recommended.

The tour was really great. Totally worth it! The instructor was fun and mentioned interesting things about the coastline. We walked the trails day before so it was really nice to see it from below. The scenery was beautiful. The guide also took pictures of us in the Benagil cave. We had a really good time!

What an amazing tour full of surprises with a knowledge guide and crew. They launch from a beautiful white sand beach. Basically a tractor pushes the boat into the water and pulls it back in. It was a smaller vessel with room for 10-12 people. This is key because many larger boats looked on as we went directly inside caves as they were just sailing by. The guides were very up on local history and the tour was just the right amount of time. It’s simply beautiful and you get to experience a truly unique tour and it was great value. The town was a perfect place to grab lunch and drinks afterwards as well. I highly recommend this tour. It was recommended to us by a local tour guide that told us it’s the only tour that he recommends because of the quality of the experience they provide.
