the

the
material
was
the
most
common
excuse.
During
these

years
I
even
offered
to
go
personally

get
the
material,

assured
that
it
was
not
necessary
and
that
it
would
arrive
soon.

At
a
certain
point
I
was
told
that
after
all
the
delay
was
due
to
waiting
for
a
“new
oven”

November),

could

verify

new

to

treatment

clinic,

the

trust

relationship.

clinic
refused
this
request.

that
performing

unnecessary
Rx

necessary
only
given
the
clinic's
refusal)
during
pregnancy
is
particularly
serious
in
terms
of
embryonic
and
fetal
malformations
as
is
well
known.
In
view
of
all
this,
Dr.
Afonso
and
his
clinic
show
a
lack
of
insulting,
disrespectful
response
and
still
ranks
on
his
personal
website
as
one
of
the
top
surgeons
in
the
area.
He

he

for
13
years
with
the
woman
he
fell
in
love
with.

that
we
all
have
loved
ones

Resumo:
• Em
virtude
da
realização
de
tratamento
específico
foi
nos
requisitado
o
pagamento
antecipado
de
cerca
de
3000
euros,
algo
que
fizemos
de
boa
vontade
e
num
espírito
de
confiança
que
habitualmente
pauta
o
relacionamento
com
prestadores
de
cuidados
de
saúde;
• Desde
então
passaram
24
meses
e
pouco
se
avançou
no
tratamento,
contrariamente
ao
acordado
e
as
expectativas
criadas
de
que
poucos
meses
seriam
necessários
para
conclusão
do
referido
tratamento.
• Durante
esses
24
meses
dezenas
de
consultas
foram
adiadas,
canceladas
ou
alteradas
no
próprio
dia,
muitas
das
vezes
sem
aviso
prévio
o Dessas
consultas
canceladas
resultou
desnecessário
absentismo
laboral,
assim
como
dano
emocional.
• Ao
longo
do
tempo
foram
sendo
apresentadas
várias
desculpas
para
a
situação:
o Inicialmente
a
pandemia
COVID
–
algo
que
todos
compreendemos
numa
fase
inicial,
mas
naturalmente
a
vida
de
todos
nós
continuou
e
a
pandemia
deixou
de
ser
desculpa
para
a
não
prossecução
dos
processos;
o A
não
vinda
do
material
foi
a
desculpa
mais
comum.
Durante
estes
2
anos
cheguei
a
oferecer-me
para
ir
pessoalmente
buscar
o
material,
tendo
me
sido
garantido
que
não
era
necessário
e
que
iria
chegar
brevemente.
o Numa
determinada
altura
foi
me
dito
que
afinal
o
atraso
se
devia
à
espera
de
um
“forno
novo”
(de
Março
a
Novembro),
algo
que
também
não
pude
verificar
o Ultimamente
a
nova
estratégia
tem
sido
pura
e
simplesmente
não
atender
telefone,
ou
atender
e
depois
de
me
apresentar
dizerem
que
a
ligação
está
má,
numa
atitude
absolutamente
desrespeitosa
perante
o
cliente.
• Já
dois
emails
formais
foram
dirigidos
à
clínica
a
reportar
a
situação,
não
tendo
obtido
qualquer
resposta
por
escrito.
• Já
foram
solicitados
os
exames
complementares
previamente
efetuados
para
continuar/iniciar
o
tratamento
noutra
clínica
dada
perda
de
confiança
e
relação
médico-doente.
A
clinica
recusou
este
pedido.
o É
importante
referir
que
a
realização
de
Rx
adicionais
desnecessários
(ou
necessários
apenas
dada
a
recusa
da
clinica)
em
período
de
gravidez
é
particularmente
gravoso
em
termos
de
malformações
embrionárias
e
fetais
como
é
do
conhecimento
geral.
Perante
tudo
isto,
o
Dr.
Afonso
e
a
sua
clínica
demonstram
uma
ausência
de
resposta
insultuosa,
desrespeitadora
e
ainda
se
classifica
no
seu
site
pessoal
como
sendo
um
dos
top
surgeons
na
área.
Vem
também
referido
que
vive
há
13
anos
com
a
mulher
pela
qual
se
apaixonou.
Pois
acontece
que
todos
nós
temos
entes
queridos
e
todos
nós
ficamos
particularmente
afetados
quando
“brincam”
com
a
saúde
e
dignidade
dos
nossos
entes
queridos.
Desde
que
tivemos
contacto
inicial
com
a
DentalMed
Algés
passaram
2
anos,
3000
euros,
ausência
de
tratamento,
bem
como
ausência
de
reformulação
de
proposta
terapêutica
após
todos
os
prazos
ultrapassados.
Resta-nos
sensibilizar
as
autoridades
responsáveis
(IGAS,
ERS,
OMDentistas)
para
que
possam
validar
esta
minha
situação.
Resta-nos,
por
outro
lado,
dar
a
conhecer
às
pessoas
para
que
se
possam
proteger,
uma
vez
que
para
que
as
instituições
responsáveis
cumpram
a
sua
função
reguladora
teremos
que
aguardar
algum
tempo.
Assim,
durante
esse
tempo
existe
o
risco
de
outras
pessoas
serem
envolvidos
com
esta
clínica,
pelo
que
optamos
por
tornar
pública
esta
situação.
Quanto
à
restituição
em
relação
à
quebra
de
contrato
(tratamento
pago
não
efetuado),
bem
como
ao
dano
emocional
e
ao
dano
relacionado
com
deslocações
fúteis
e
repetição
de
exames
complementares
pretendemos
obviamente
acionar
os
respetivos
instrumentos
legais.
Habitualmente
existe
algum
pudor
em
classificar
este
tipo
de
atuações
em
relação
com
profissionais
de
saúde.
Mas
receber
pagamento
e
sem
realizar
o
tratamento
é
inaceitável,
assim
como
fazer
pouco
dos
outros
com
desculpas
baratas
e
esconder
a
face
sem
assumir
responsabilidades
é
desrespeituoso,
cobarde
e
perigoso!
